As much as I enjoy Columbo on a personal level many of his tactics are not something I would consider ideal for law enforcement.
But still, better than most.
#I feel like it would be very easy for someone like Columbo to get a false positive on a suspect#Mainly because his primary method of investigation is based around spotting contradictions and working from there.#People in stressful situations contradict themselves very often.#But by the same token every villain in the show is a horrible liar
