Personality: Due to the abuse she went through, her personality’s rather subdued. Lilly will often shy away from crowds, and she’ll shy away from physical contact. Although, it should be noted that she is making progress when it comes to socialization. While she will tolerate being around people, she is an introvert and doesn’t mind not being involved in the action. And despite everything, Lilly doesn’t have a mean bone in her body and is selfless enough to give someone her coat on a cold day if they’re feeling chilly even though it’d make her freezing. It’s always easy to tell when she’s avoiding conversation, because even though she can hardly hear anything it she’ll play loud music.

Basic history: Lilly was born with a form of congenital hearing loss, and her mother and step-father didn’t handle it well (her mother turning to alcohol, and her step-father blaming Lilly as if she’d had any choice in the matter). Throughout her childhood she was abused; if it’s a type of abuse, she went through it at one point or another (although this is something she keeps private for personal reasons). As soon as she turned 18 and left school, she took everything she’d saved up and left her parents’ home. While it was hard, she managed to work as well as attend school to become a nurse. During one of the days she had classes, all classes were suddenly cancelled seeing as the Chitauri were attacking the city. On her way out, she happened to see someone that was hurt and decided to put what she’d learned to work. It turned out that the person she had helped was an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and that decision to run into danger instead of away from danger led her to end up on a new path interning with the med labs to help further her studies.

So I'm sitting here and I suddenly realized that regardless to how much I love certain ships on TVD.. as much as I say I'd die if a certain ship isn't endgame.. there is one thing I absolutely won't be able to forgive the show for if it doesn't happen. Elijah needs to be happy in the end. Elijah, I sincerely believe more then any other character just deserves to find true happiness. If that happens then I don't care what ship it is, I'll be happy.
