The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has declared the result of the Higher Secondary School (HSC) Class 12th board exams held in the month of March today i.e. Tuesday May 28, 2019.
The Maharashtra state has recorded a pass percentage of 85.88% – a drop by around 03% as compared to last year’s.
The Science stream has secured the best performance with 92.04% result. The pass percentage in Arts is 76.28% whereas that of Commerce is 88.28%. More details and toppers name will be announced soon.

MUMBAI: With the national lockdown extended up to May 3, the assessment of HSC and SSC papers has been delayed yet again. The education department has said since there are no means to send the papers to examiners, work will resume only after the lockdown ends.
On March 23, the day public transport services in the city were suspended, the education department had issued a circular permitting HSC and SSC examiners to carry answer sheets home to ensure assessment could continue. With no means to reach the schools, none of the teachers could actually take the papers home. The education department then announced that work on assessment could resume on April 14, after the lockdown ended. However, the work is now further stalled. Over 13 lakh students have taken the HSC exams and 17 lakh students have taken the SSC exams across the state.
The department has also announced the end of the 2019-20 academic year as of April 14. “Schools can calculate results for the current academic year on the basis of past exams. The board has also cancelled the Class X Geography paper and will finalise a marking scheme for the students.” The department has uploaded digital copies of its textbooks on the Balbharti website.
