🐕 Meet Our Furry Family: First things first, we’ve got to introduce you to our beloved dogs who make every day an adventure! Meet Jolene, our playful and spirited Great Dane puppy who keeps us on our toes! 🐶 Then there’s Pepe, our charming Pomsky with a big personality packed into a small package! 🐾 And last but definitely not least, Penny—our heart and soul and the inspiration behind Infinite Hearts. She’s the rescue who started it all, showing us how much love a dog can bring into our lives! 🌼

💛 What We’re All About: At Infinite Hearts Animal Sanctuary and Rescue, we believe every dog deserves a loving home and a happy life. 🏠 We are currently fostering dogs for adoption, giving them the care, love, and attention they need while we work to find them their perfect forever families. Delicious Homemade Treats for Your Furry Friend

Making homemade treats for your pets is not only a fun activity but also a great way to ensure that your dog is eating healthy, wholesome ingredients. Store-bought treats can sometimes be filled with preservatives and additives, but with a few simple ingredients, you can whip up some nutritious and tasty treats that your dog will love!

Here are a few easy and delightful recipes to get you started:

1. Peanut Butter & Banana Biscuits

Ingredients:

1 ripe banana

1/2 cup peanut butter (make sure it’s xylitol-free)

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

1/4 cup rolled oats

1 egg

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a bowl, mash the banana and mix it with the peanut butter.

Add the egg and stir until well combined.

Gradually mix in the flour and oats until the dough comes together.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into shapes with cookie cutters.

Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Allow to cool completely before serving.

2. Sweet Potato Chews

Ingredients:

1 large sweet potato

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).

Wash and peel the sweet potato.

Slice the sweet potato into 1/4-inch thick strips.

Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, flipping halfway through, until the slices are dry and chewy.

Let them cool completely before giving them to your pup.

3. Apple & Carrot Muffins

Ingredients:

1 cup grated carrots

1/2 cup applesauce (unsweetened)

1 egg

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

1/4 cup water (or more if needed)

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a bowl, combine the carrots, applesauce, and egg.

Gradually mix in the flour until a thick batter forms. Add water if the batter is too dry.

Spoon the batter into muffin tins, filling each cup about 3/4 full.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Let the muffins cool completely before serving.

4. Chicken & Spinach Balls

Ingredients:

1 cup cooked, shredded chicken

1/2 cup chopped spinach (fresh or frozen)

1/2 cup oats

1 egg

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients until well combined.

Form small balls of the mixture and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.

Let cool completely before serving.
