This week's producer feature is 鬱P - (UtsuP) - Depression P!

Utsu P was born on Dec 1, 1990, in Nagoya. In addition to his Vocaloid projects, he also is in a band called The Ohayogozaimas, and was the producer of an idol group, Zsasz. In 2024, he composed a song for Project Sekai, Fuel. He has also written a song for Magical Mirai 2019, Hyper Reality Show

He mostly produces metal vocaloid songs, with common genres of metal core and death metal, in addition to electronic music.

He mostly uses Miku, however he also uses Gumi, Rin, Flower, Teto, and several synthesizer V characters.

Sometimes I think about how Wowaka wrote Unhappy Refrain because as much as he liked making Vocaloid music, he wanted to be appreciated as the creator, rather than being entirely overshadowed by the voicebank.

And then I think about the Wowaka tribute during Magical Mirai 2019. And how when the crowd realized what it was, they started chanting his name. Not Miku's. His.
