Once maligned for their psychedelic properties, magic mushrooms are increasingly attracting attention for their same mind-altering potential as a therapy for a wide variety of mental health issues. Yet surprisingly little is known about the diverse neurological effects of the fungus's psychoactive compound, psilocybin, making it difficult to predict how the drug might ultimately benefit the community as a medicine. A study led by Washington University School of Medicine psychiatrist Joshua Siegel tracked brain changes in seven healthy adults before, during, and after taking a high dose of psilocybin, identifying disruptions in connectivity that persisted for weeks in some areas of the brain.

Hey, it's been a hot while. Got inspired by the new set by @1-800-cuupid and when I saw this psychedelic swatch I knew I had to make a certain kind of mushroom fairy. I've really been enjoying the tattoos and body overlays by @j3lly-fish as well, they suit my occult sims style so well <3

I tried them once back in 1980 in Colorado Springs right before I got out of the military. It was an experience I'll never forget. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. And since it was a half-assed experience I didn't really want anything to do with them again.

I know the Shaman use them to cure PTSD, depression and anxiety but they have been doing it for a long time in a controlled environment.

I know a doctor here in Florida that goes to South America and stays for 3 months to learn their ways using this type of treatment, but he told me he could never do that here however he tries to get people to eat properly for healing. He is limited on that aspect too. 🤔

I love this area in the Alice in Wonderland cafe. The little sparkles add magic. The small mushrooms you can pick up are just like the ones that used to float in midair high above the ground at the rear of the Forgotten Ark area in beta. Those were worth a candle each and challenging to reach.
