Anon, as somebody who has a basic understanding of classical Greek and Latin and was taught by an Oxbridge graduate with a PhD in classics I'd like to tell you that our teacher always referred to us, teenagers, as classicists. 

Secondly, fuck you- people are allowed to have ‘’highbrow’’ interests and hobbies, it doesn’t make them pretentious or white or elitist... to say that liking classics and enjoying academia as an aesthetic and as a pursuit makes somebody seem that way shows that you yourself believe that certain things are reserved for the elite.

I’m begging you to read something that isn’t pretentious white people shit. Your entire aesthetic, the way you post on this site, everything, reeks of faux intellectuality and self-obsessed elitism. Like, “classicist” in your bio? A classicist is a scholar of classics, you’re literally a teenager who only reads second wave white feminist drivel, high school English class bullshit, and Donna Tartt’s trash. “Dark academia” lol more like white nonsense. Please try something else oh my god

played my first game of The Zone rpg with my girlfriend the other night! it's a gm-less play-to-lose narrative game inspired by the southern reach, tarkovsky's stalker and control (2019). it's also a blast!

my character was the architect, a builder of mad and impossible buildings who wished to cover the earth with one urban settlement of her design. she mutated so much during the trip, including but not limited to, growing horns, understanding a whole new alien number system, shifting to become the geometry itself and -- finally -- merging herself with the new urban hive mind of the Zone. fun!

oh by the way a while ago i was at work and doing, you know, my work (lots of it recently) and my coworker had a marketing zoom meeting with this marketing strategy guy and we have a small office and nobody ever uses headphones so i heard everything and the main issue is how to get through to the Youth (the answer that nobody wants to hear is of course via going viral on tiktok) and the guy deadass proposed we should be a first polish digital art museum on Roblox.
