6 episodes into magia record and no one has died horribly this is a scam
#i mean unless kaede and the others died at the end of ep 5 or whatever…? it was unclear#anyway though. on a more actually serious note have mixed feelings so far.#like I am intrigued about some of the mysteries set up but… I do think the show is hurt by it’s massive cast. i am already having trouble#keeping track of them and I know more and more characters are yet to appear.#Madoka Magica I think really benefited from it’s small cast so it was easy to flesh out everyone’s stories and make a clear connected#narrative… but also like. it almost feels unfair to compare it cause I don’t think magia record is going for the same thing?#and like. i think the large cast problem is just a natural consequence of being based on a gacha game. perhaps if I played the game I’d be#more receptive cause I’d recognize the characters as blorbo from video game…? idk.#perhaps my opinion will change as the series goes on ¯\_(ツ)_/¯#dramon thoughts
