Sport’s Day- Ben Hutton

The Canucks give me a lot of feels I do not want tbh. But like their Canucks for Kids program is amazing and one of their charities that it provides money to is the Canucks Autism Network. This is a really close cause for me so I wrote it off of one of the activities they do for that! If you want feels, I can send the link for the YouTube video to go with it!

You honestly did not think Ben could be hotter than when he wore a suit to the Dice and Ice event that the Canucks put on.

Boy were you wrong.

Ben hit ultimate peakness on your hotness meter when he was interacting with children.

Seriously, your ovaries were weeping.

You were currently standing on the sidelines of BC Place watching as Ben was playing hockey with a group of children off to the side. When Ben had originally told you he volunteered to go with Bo, Jacob, Troy, Fin, and Henrik to the Canucks Autism Network's Sports Day you hadn’t been sure what he was getting you into, but this was a lot of fun and good for the kids. Each of the guys was paired up, except for Ben, and helping the children play hockey while members of various other Vancouver teams taught kids their sports.

You watched as Ben passed the puck back and forth with a child about 10 while talking to a little girl standing next to him swinging her stick around. Both kids waiting for their teams' turn.

You honestly thought you were going to die of cuteness.

"(Y/N)" Ben called, waving you over. You smiled and stuck your phone back in your pocket, done sneaking pictures of the guys to send to your girls, and jogged over to where Ben was still entertaining the little girl and boy at the same time.

"Hey" you said.

"Is that your giiiiiiiiirlfriend?" the little girl giggled. You laughed and looked at Ben.

"Yeah, Benny. Am I your girlfrienddddd?"

"Girls are gross" the boy stated. "Don't you know that Mr. Ben?"

"I do know that, bud, but this girl is special." He lowered his voice and looked around to act as if he was making sure no one was listening. "She doesn't have cooties!"

"She doesn't?" he asked skeptically, eyeing you.

"That's right, bud." He then turned to the little girl. "And yes, I get to call (Y/N) my girlfriend."

"Do ya kiss her?" she asked, scrunching up her nose.

"I do" he said. And to prove it he turned around and kissed you.

"Ewwwww!" both kids squealed.

"See look. She's even wearing my jersey" he said proudly. The little girl circled to the back and read the name printed across both of your backs.

"She is!" she exclaimed. "But" she looked at you wide eyed. "Kissing boys is gross."

"It is isn't it? They're really smelly" you said. She nodded. "And this one gets REALLY smelly after a hockey game." The little girl looked to where the other kids were playing hockey. "You won't get smelly. You don't have all the pads he wears."

"He wears pads?" The little girl lifted his jersey to see. You laughed. "He's not wearing pads!" You pulled your phone out and pulled up a picture you had taken one day of Ben in his gear.

"See? When he goes on the ice, he has to wear pads and a helmet otherwise he'll bump and hit his head!"

"That's no good" she whispered, staring at the picture.

"No and he's really clumsy on the ice so we have to make sure his pads are on super tight!"

"Hey!" Ben said. "I'm not that clumsy."

"Yes you are" Bo said, joining the conversation. "Who's ready to play some hockey?" The little boy raised his hand and jumped up and down excitedly while the little girl still looked at the field wearily.

�� "You don't want to play?" you asked, kneeling down to her level.

"I do but... I don't have pads" she said. "Mommy always says I should wear my pads."

"Do you know my friend Bo?" Ben asked, pointing at the hockey player. She shook her head. "Well Bo here is the BEST at hockey."

"Really?"

"Really truly" you answered. "He went to this big game that only the best players get to go to! Bo here knows you're my friend and he'll keep you safe, even without pads."

"He will?"

"He will" Ben said. "I'll even play with you too. No one will mess with you!" She grinned brightly.

"Ok!" You watched as she took one of Ben's hands and one of Bo's and led them to the spot where the other kids were waiting. Ben said something to Fin, making the mascot drop his head and the kids laugh. He came running up to you and hugged you tightly, pretending to press kisses all over your face. You laughed loudly.

"HEY! LEAVE MY GIRL ALONE!" Ben yelled out. The kids laughed more. Bo and Ben turned their attention to the kids as they started to get restless. Fin turned and held his fin out, making like he was taking a picture.

"What are you doing?" He pointed at your phone and made the motion again. "You want a selfie?" He nodded. You held your phone up and laughed as his head pressed close to yours. You took the picture and he pointed to himself. "You want me to send it to you?" He nodded. You typed in his info (yes you really did have the team's mascot's info listed under 'Fin') and sent him the picture. "What are you going to do with it?" Fin shrugged and skipped away.

"Come play (Y/N)!" You gave the weird fish one last look before running over to join in the large hockey game the boys had merged.

"Hey babe" Ben asked as you were wiping your makeup off later that night.

"Yeah?"

"Did you take a selfie with Fin?"

"Yeah. Why?" You dried your face and stepped into the bedroom, crawling into bed with Ben.

"I just got a notification and..." He turned his phone to face you. On the screen was the selfie you had taken with the caption 'You win the kids @bhutt10, but I get the girl'. You laughed as Ben pouted.

"Sorry babe. Guess you lost me to the fish." You turned off the light and settled down, pulling the covers up over you. Ben curled in behind you, his arm wrapped around your waist.

"Stupid fish" he muttered.
