MVSR Engineering College -Courses, Admissions, Rankings
Founded in 1981, MVSREC has emerged as a beacon of quality education. Accredited by the National Board of Accreditation and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), it stands as a distinguished institution in Telangana's Ranga Reddy District. Aligned with Osmania University, it boasts a private status and recently achieved a notable feat by securing a B++ grade and a 2.8 CGPA from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Recognized by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) at the 251st position for BTech colleges and ranked 51st by the Times of India in 2020, MVSREC has demonstrated its commitment to excellence.
MVSR Engineering College offers 12 courses across two streams. The institute extends MBA programs, MTech programs in ECE, CSE, and Mechanical, as well as undergraduate and BE programs in Civil, ECE, CSE, EEE, IT, automobile engineering, and mechanical.
With a student populace of approximately 4,000 and a distinguished faculty comprising around 250 highly qualified members, MVSREC places strong emphasis on holistic development. The institute houses a robust Research and Development center for student projects and an active placement cell that nurtures industry connections for optimum career placements. A dedicated career guidance cell further supports students during campus recruitment. Value Labs extends internships to senior MBA and BE students as Management and Engineering trainees.
Spread across an expansive campus, MVSREC boasts six primary academic buildings that house vital resources like a computer center and a digital library. The outdoor expanse accommodates diverse sports facilities, including a football field, kabaddi court, and cricket stadium, while an indoor game room and basketball court enhance recreational options. While the college itself doesn't offer hostel facilities, Sri Sai Sadan Boys Hostel, a private venture, lies a short stroll away, catering to male students' needs. Regrettably, no such hostel provisions are available for female students.
