Lightning clears her throat quietly. “Encanta verte trabajando…”

“¿Qué?” The younger huntress quips, whipping around to face the other. She didn’t quite catch that, her Spanish had gone rusty. Something about working. Maybe she was being asked about a recent hunt. “Repita, por favor?”

“Encanta verte trabajando,” Lightning leans in closer, incredibly so, and continues in a low, hushed whisper in Iris’ ear, “y me hace pensar en que trabajas en mi cama.” A breathy laugh follows, too quiet for anyone else but Iris to hear. 

Ok, there was definitely something about bed, there. The soldier shoots her a smirk before taking her leave hastily without another word, the shield left with a faint dusting of pink on her cheeks and a look of both confusion and embarrassment.

“Pa-pararse! Light, saglit lang–” Spanish and Galahdi tangle in a big mess in the flustered woman’s head.  “’Tang ina, what did you say?!”

**Encanta verte trabajando. Y me hace pensar en que trabajas en mi cama =  Love seeing you work. Makes me think about you working in bed.

Pararse = stop. Saglit lang = just a moment/hold on. ‘Tang (putang) ina = your mother is a whore (not meant to insult Light, it’s more often used to voice frustration)
