You clicked your tongue as you looked around the library, yet the book you've always been looking for was still not there. You decided just to grab another book, albeit still upset about it, and wait for another day.

You sigh; you've always wanted to read that book. Maybe if you can get your hands on that book, you'll be able to figure out your feelings for your friend. But no! Someone just had to keep it in their possession, much to your dismay.

"Y/N? Okay ka lang ba? (Y/N? Are you okay?)" You heard a familiar voice ask. The voice that never fails to make your heart flutter.

You calmed yourself and turned to the owner of the voice, "Hi, Kazuha. Okay na okay ako hehe. Bakit ka napatanong? (Oh, hi there, Kazuha. Of course, I'm fine. Why do you ask?)"

Kazuha gave you a smile. A smile that makes you want to ascend to Celestia every single time he smiles at you like that.

"Parang galit ka kasi sa libro. Ang higpit nung pagkakahawak mo haha. (You were gripping the book tightly with eyes that seemed to be sending daggers)," he chuckled before continuing. "May gumalit ba sayo, your highness? (Did someone upset your highness?)"

Ah, yes, that damn nickname. Sometimes it makes you wonder if Kazuha knows what effect he has on you.

"Ay, hindi noh. Okay lang ako, my knight. (Oh, no, my knight. I am doing just fine.)"

Calling each other nicknames and flirting like it's normal became a habit between the two of you. You didn't like it. Unbeknownst to you, Kazuha didn't like it either. The fact that the two of you would simply brush others' comments about your relationship to "We're just friends." crushes you.

Kazuha hummed, snapping you out of your reverie. "Okay, sabi mo ha. (If you say so.)"

A book that caught your eye was placed above, one that you cannot reach without someone else's help. But you didn't want to disturb the librarian or any helper.

Kazuha, sensing your distress, turned his head to you. "Kailangan mo ba ng tulong? (Need help with that?)"

"Obvious naman ata 'yon, Kazu. (I think that goes without saying, Kazu.)" You rolled your eyes at him.

Kazuha laughed softly, "O, ayan, pandak. (Here you go, shorty.)"

Your eyes widened with the use of the nickname. "Ser Kaedehara, paalala ko lang po sa 'yo na mas matangkad ka sakin ng ilang sentimetro lamang. (Mister Kaedehara, you are only a few centimeters taller than me.)"

As soon as you got the book in your hands, you hit him with the book on his shoulder lightly.

"Aray ko—! (Ouch!)"

You placed your hand on his mouth. "Shh. Ang drama mo, ah. 'Wag ka ngang maingay, alam mo naman na nakakatakot yung librarian dito. (Shh. Don't be too noisy. You know too well how scary the librarian here can be.)"

You felt his breath brush against your palm as he chuckled while having your hand on his mouth. "Siyempre naman. Isa ako sa mga tagatulong nung halimaw na 'yon. (Of course, I do. I'm one of that monster's helpers, after all.)"

You slowly put your hand down, chuckling with what he just called the librarian. "Ah, ganon? Sige, pagpatuloy mo 'yang ginagawa mo. O edi ikaw na may pribilehiyo na manghiram ng libro tapos 'di agad kailangan ibalik. (Ah, yes. Do continue flexing that you're one of the helpers and have the privilege to borrow a book for how long you want.)"

He laughed at your comment and smiled sheepishly, "Well."

"Nako, Kazuha! 'Wag mo akong ma-well-well. Tsk, edi ikaw na may magandang mukha. (Don't 'well' me! Tsk, pretty privilege)," you said jokingly.

"Maganda ka rin naman ah! (You're pretty too!)"

"Sige, sige. Ibig kong sabihin e, paborito ka nung librarian natin kasi may crush siya sayo. (Uh-huh, sure. What I mean was that the librarian favors you greatly because she has a crush on you.)"

"Hay nako... Y/N, 'wag kang ganyan. (Aish... Y/N, don't say it like that.)"

"Tse, huwag mo akong kausapin. (Hmph. Don't talk to me, privileged.)"

"I— Y/N, are you jealous?"

You looked at him with eyes wide open. Did he finally realize that you like him? Holy shit, thank the archons and Gods of Celestia that he finally caught up with this story!

"H-Ha? Hindi noh... (What... n-no..?)"

"Ah, sige. Sabihan mo lang ako kung gusto mo ihiram kita ng libro o kaya gusto mo rin tumulong dito. (Oh... alright then. Just tell me if you want me to borrow a book for you or you want to be a helper here too.)"

Kazuha picked up some books and smiled at you. "Kita-kits mamaya, Y/N. (See you later, Y/N.)"

"Y-Yeah... see you."

Huh? You are confused. Did you read the signs wrong?

If you did, you're annoyed that Kazuha didn't mean it that way. Were all those flirtings really platonic to him? What if you start calling him hubby, then what?

In conclusion, Kazuha is dense.
