Favorite Ships
I know no one asked but I'm going to tell the people of twitter anyone. My top 3 favorite couples/ships of all time. This is also me trying to procrastinate on my int macro hw.
First, I'll start off with honorable mentions. Zack and Kelly, obviously. Ned and Moze. Nathan and Haley (a lot of OTH couples can be on this list but I don't have time for that). Zoe and Wade.
3) Spencer & Toby: Spoby had a special place in my heart on Tuesday nights. It all started with that scrabble scene and I was probably tweeting fav OTP ever since. The way Toby figured out the real Spencer by asking a question about a poem, great way to end the drawn out series
2) Piper & Leo. I know these two are fairly new to me, but I get so excited seeing them together. Leo losing his power just to save Piper. Can’t wait to see them have magical little babies. (Im barely starting season 3, no spoilers plz)
1) Finn & Rachel. They deserved everything and more. Finn singing Jessie’s Girl? Award winning. That duet when they lost nationals!! Everything! That kiss at the end, Everything! I really wish he was there to see her on Broadway though. I wonder how they would’ve ended.
#couples#ships#zack and kelly#ned and moze#nathan and haley#ive been procrastinating#spoby#spencer and toby#pll#piper and leo#charmed#finn and rachel#glee#love#i really could go on about number 1 and 3 for a while

Crime Minister.
May 28, 2020
Last week, WoW described for you some of the current world leaders who are just as corrupt and autocratic, if not more so, as our own (provisional) president. But we forgot to include one of the biggest crooks of the bunch — Israel's PM Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu (pictured above unable to believe Trump is getting away with all those crimes and he isn't).
Last November, Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit wound up a three-year investigation by bringing charges of fraud, breach of trust and accepting bribes against the right-wing Israeli leader (and big-time Trump enthusiast) in three separate scandals known as cases 1000, 2000 and 4000. Here's the breakdown.
Case 1000: The indictment alleges that Bibi and his wife, Sara, received various goods from two businessmen — Arnon Milchan, an Israeli Hollywood film producer, and James Packer, an Australian billionaire — "mainly cigar boxes and cases of champagne". These gifts totaled some 700,000 shekels ($198,000) in value. That's a lot of cigars.
Case 2000: Bibi is accused of holding a series of secret meetings with Arnon Mozes, the majority owner of the media group that publishes Israel Hayom, a leading Israeli newspaper. The topics discussed were Bibi's coverage in the paper and possible government restrictions on it. In other words, a perfectly innocent conversation.
Case 4000: This one's about an alleged "reciprocal arrangement" Netanyahu had with Shaul Elovitch, owner of Bezeq, Israel's biggest telecommunications company. According to the indictment, Bibi "used his powers and authorities as a public servant to promote matters in accordance with Mr. Elovitch's wishes" concerning Bezeq in return for favorable media coverage.
This is the first time criminal charges have been brought against a sitting Israeli prime minister. And, rather than defend his actions, Netanyahu chose to copy the approach of another guilty chief executive by attacking the indictments as an "attempted coup" and blaming others for pointing out his criminality. Here he is being quoted in The Times of Israel: “Elements in the police and State Attorney’s Office banded together with left-wing journalists...to fabricate baseless cases against me.”
At least he didn't call it a witch hunt. Oh, wait, yes he did last February. Meanwhile, AG Mandelblit has simply responded, "We will continue to work fairly and under the principle that all are equal under the law." Which is, of course, what one would expect from a government's chief national prosecutor. US Attorney General William Barr could not be reached for comment.

Interviewing a Professional
John Mozes is the general manager of Rider University’s 107.7 The Bronc. John has managed the station for nearly ten years and during this time The Bronc received many rewards. The most notable awards are 107.7 The Bronc becoming the number 1 rated college radio station in New Jersey, and the 15th best college radio station in the nation. Outside of his work at Rider University, John has been in the Radio industry for over 20 years working on notable stations such as 97.5 and 94.5 WPST-FM. The following is an encounter with the always working John Mozes.
Wade: What was your first brush with event planning?
Mozes: Well it started in highschool when we created a play. We had to market it and sell tickets if we wanted the show to be a success. As professional it started with radio station events and worked at a station in Bucks County.
Wade: Do you have any examples of something going wrong at an event? If you have then was it resolved or noticed?
Mozes: First year of scream screen had an issue because the weather was not working with us. It was extremely windy which delayed us putting up the inflatable screen. It was resolved because we had student workers passing out giveaway and promotional items and it gave us more time to get every car parked because we ended up getting a higher turnout than we thought. The event was a resounding success and no one thought the event had any issues.
Wade: Are there any events you prefer to throw? Family party or the radio station?
Mozes: I love every event that I do, seeing people happy is the most rewarding thing for me. The goal is twofold, get students engaged and ready for the real world, and to give people something to smile about.
Wade: Would you ever host an event for a friend or family member?
Mozes: No! It takes a lot of time and effort to create a good event, but at the end of the day you don’t want to ruin a friendship or relationship. If you don’t throw events for anybody then there won’t be any conflict.
Wade: Do you have any tips that you would say are vital for planning events?
Mozes: Be prepared for stress and set up EARLY! Never wait until the last minute so that you can fix any issues that could pop up. I’m not working with professionals so our events need way more time to set up for. As an example if we have an event that starts at 11am we arrive and start setting up at 5am. You also have to manage your money well so that your budget can cover any last minute issues.
Wade: Now how important marketing and advertising?
Mozes: Marketing event is huge and I always tell people to over market. Over marketing could be annoying, but for every 3 people you annoy you’re probably going to get 1 new person informed. If you want a successful event there has to also be a budget specifically for the marketing.
Wade: How do you measure the success of the event?
Mozes: Attendance is key to measuring the success of an event. You can also measure campus events by asking students about the buzz on campus. A good tip that’ll help an event be successful is knowing your room size. If you have a ton of people but the space is too big, then it will look bad, so if an event is outside have to get a lot of people and then it would most likely be a success.
Wade: What is 1 item you need at every event?
Mozes: You absolutely must bring balloons to events. Something about balloons makes people happy and draws their attention so it’s a must have at events.
Wade: For my final question, if you were trapped on an island what 3 items would you bring?
Mozes: I would bring my favorite food, a picture of my family, and match sticks to start a fire.
