Backstory idea for Monoma Neito! A little optional MonoKami fun in this if you like...

Monoma has a younger sister (I've done this before. I love him having a sister!)

His sister LOVES magical girl stories. Ob-sessed!

So, of course, Monoma has had to watch this stuff for years. He knows so much magical girl trivia because he's had to watch shows, read manga, have story lines exhaustively told to him from his rambling sister on phone calls while he's away at school, play silly board games with her that require you to have extensive knowledge to win, gone to release events for merch, etc.

Someone finds this out when they mention something off hand that they catch on their socials, or they flip to something on the TV, or they say they lost a clip or keychain and have to describe it.

Monoma doesn't miss a beat and rattles off some eerily specific info that only a diehard fan would know.

You could classically make this a girl in class. Something "expected". Or you could switch it up and have it be around some real "tough" dudes in his class watching TV, like Kamakiri and Tetsutetsu...

Fun twist for MonoKami fans?

Have this happen in a public space where Kaminari is near. They BOTH rattle off details one after the other. Kaminari maybe starts, not TOTALLY unexpected because he's a hyper nerd, but then Monoma corrects him without second guessing, and turns about 20 shades of red when he realizes what he's just done.

Kaminari is, obviously, utterly smitten.

Mmmmm, cute? YAH!
