"Oh, boy! I sure hope this doesn't result in us being harassed by mobs of fans flanderizing us and taking our actions out of context, essentially unleashing Equestrian Twitter upon us."
i was gonna focus on the spike-hotboxing-celestia aspect but i got distracted somewhere along the way and i think i forgot what joke i was trying to make
but dont you think its interesting how many guards of the exact same color/body type she's managed to accrue?? i do
Can you tell I'm obsessed with season 4? Because I am. I don't even like it I just can't stop rewatching it. Luna has future vision and can see into other ponies pasts, Celestia has visions, Rarity and Twilight both use dark magic, this is literally Cadence's season tbh, and it should be good. It sounds like it should be good and instead it's boring and I find myself wanting to skip episodes more than any other season.
It's literally my own personal hell because it has all the things I love about the show and so much to analyze, but it's so boring I forget most of it while watching it.
This show had large sections of its adult fanbase that liked to juxtapose its childish nature with the dark and gruesome in fan works like Cupcakes, and had lots of fans making meme edits of the show
This show had much more cryptid/spooky theming, often hid small details in the backgrounds of shots, and would occasionally reference current pop culture, including memes
Would like to follow my trend of Alastor-betray the hotel bullshit with this scene recast from MLPFiM:
The main cast -Lucifer: *all in a cage*
Whoever owns Alastor’s soul: You gathered up all of them?
Alastor, poking Razzle: And his little dragon too.
Razzle: *tries to bite*
Charlie, crying in Vaggie’s arms: Why are you doing this?! I thought we were friends?!
Alastor: Oh we were. But she (?) offered me so much more than just friendship circles. Surely you saw this coming?
Charlie, still crying: I didn’t. I really didn’t. (Buries head into Vaggie)
-After, Alastor’s boss betrays him-
Vaggie: Surely you saw this coming?
Alastor, weak and powerless on the ground: I didn’t. I truly didn’t.
(And yeah, I know Charlie might not trust him to not betray the hotel right away. But if the relationship between everyone in the hotel developed? If she were to kinda forget the reason Alastor is there? Think they’re breaking through to him and he accepts he’s part of the family?)
