Not that he doesn't relive that there could be vampires around, only that he has been searching the area based on such rumors, and turned up nothing so far. Any vampires around here seem to be pretty good at hiding.

How useful something like that would be for him. But how dangerous it is in the hands of this child. As unpredictable as children are, he figures that as long as he keeps the conversation friendly, he can avoid finding out what such a thing is capable of.
˗ˏˋ *ㅤ☾ ☆ㅤ‿︵ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤ❛ㅤOh, but how can you be so CERTAIN of that Monsieur ? Surely, you've heard the rumors of VAMPIRES running about the streets !ㅤ❜
꒰ ☾ ꒱ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤ𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒌𝒔; rather calm DESPITE the ominous words he was speaking. Humans and vampires had always been foes and yet such petty reasons were NOT the reason for his distaste for the bloodsucking fiends. His concerns were how those vampires TREATED those of the Blue Moon. But so long as he had his book and his dog, vampires should have been NO MATCH for him. Humans on the other hand he was definitely wary of. This one included.
