MHT-CET – Entrance exam to pursue engineering for undergraduates is the state level exam which is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra Govt., for filling the seats of full time degree courses of engineering and pharmacy in different colleges located in Maharashtra. This exam is comparatively similar to JEE Mains and NEET in difficulty level and held every year. MHT-CET Exam Date
Online application form for this exam embarks from 2nd week of February to last week of March. Admit cards are available from last week of April to 1st week May. The exam is conducted in online mode and most probably its date falls in 2nd week of May.
MHT-CET Eligibility Criteria

MHT CET Full Form 2023: Exam Dates, Admit Card (Soon), Mock Test, Syllabus, and Question Papers

Introduction
The MHT CET Full Form is Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test 2023 PCM test will be placed from August 5 to August 11. There will be two shifts for the exam each day. Both PCM and PCB groups have received their MHT CET 2023 admit cards. The MHT CET PCB exam 2023 will be held between August 12 and August 20. Three exams will be given in the MHT CET 2023 : Paper 1 in mathematics, Paper 2 in integrated physics and chemistry, and Paper 3 in biology. Papers 1 and 2 are required for applicants to Engineering programs (PCM Group), while Papers 2 and 3 are required for applicants to Pharmacy courses (PCB Group). When completing the application form, the applicant was required to select the paper type (PCB or PCM).
The MHT CET 2023 will be comparable to the JEE Main exam in terms of difficulty. JEE Main
National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) twice in a year for the admission to undergraduate engineering programs at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTI).
Eligibility
There is no age limit for the candidates to appear for JEE Main examination. Candidates who have passed class 12th/ equivalent examination can appear for the exam. It is to be noted that candidates should satisfy themselves about their fulfilling the age limit requirements of the Institutes in which they are desirous of taking admission.
JEE Main 2020
This year, JEE Main (Part 1) exam was conducted from January 6 to 9, 2020, at various centres across the nation. The JEE Main (part 2) exam which was scheduled to be held on April 5, 7, 9, and 11, 2020, has been postponed due to the coronavirus epidemic.

JEE Advanced
Seven Zonal Coordinating (ZC) IITs under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB) conducts Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) for admission to undergraduate courses in Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Sciences or Architecture disciplines in IITs.
Eligibility
Indian nationals who want to appear in JEE (Advanced) must B.E./B.Tech. paper of JEE (Main) which will be held in January and April (which has been postponed now). Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in B.E./B.Tech. Paper of JEE (Main) 2020.
Category-wise distribution of top 2,50,000 candidates
The following table shows the order to be followed while choosing top 2,50,000 candidates in various categories based on the performance in B.E./B.Tech. Paper of JEE (Main) 2020.

Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1995. Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates. A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) maximum of two times in two consecutive years. A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2019 or 2020 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. However, if the examination Board of Class XII (or equivalent) declares the results for the academic year 2017-18 after June 2018, then the candidates of that board who appeared for their Class XII exam in 2018 are also eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2020, provided they meet the other eligibility criteria.
A candidate should not have been admitted in an IIT irrespective of whether or not he/she continued in the program or accepted an IIT seat by reporting at a reporting centre in the past. Candidates whose admission at IITs was cancelled after joining any IIT are also NOT eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2020. Candidates who have been admitted to a preparatory course in any of the IITs for the first time in 2019 can appear in JEE (Advanced) 2020.

JEE Advanced 2020 was scheduled to be conducted on May 17, 2020, which has been postponed. Information in this regard available on the official website reads “JEE (Main) 2020 April Examination has been postponed due to COVID-19 outbreak. GATE
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) jointly conduct Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) every year across the country.
Qualifying in GATE is a mandatory requirement for seeking admission and/or financial assistance to following programmes — Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Science, in the institutions supported by the MHRD and other Government agencies. GATE qualification is mandatory for admission in some colleges and institutions without MHRD scholarship/assistantship.
The GATE 2020 score is valid for three years from the date of announcement of the results.

Things To Keep in Mind Before Appearing for MHT-CET 2020
What is MHT- CET ?
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Cell on behalf of the DTE for admissions to various programmes like B.Tech, B.Pharm, LLB, MBA, etc. The entrance test is a computer based test and is separate for each programme. Some admissions like medical, architecture (UG) are through NEET, NATA etc. Candidates who are eligible as per the criteria determined by the exam conducting authority have to fill the respective application forms in online mode and appear for the entrance exam. Candidates who qualify in the online examination are further called for the process of counselling where they are allotted a college according to their preferences and marks scored in the entrance examination of Maharashtra CET.
MHT-CET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The MHT-CET Eligibility criteria for 2020 is yet to be announced but till the students can assume the eligibility criteria of previous year given below as it is expected that eligibility criteria will remain same as previous year. All aspirants who have passed /appeared in the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard or its equivalent and are Indian National eligible to appear for MHT CET 2020. There is no age limit for admission and appearing for the exam.
Candidature type :- Students can choose only one type of Maharashtra student candidature ie from Type A to B.
Eligibility criteria for MHT CET 2020 for engineering aspirants:
Interested candidates should be an Indian National
They should have passed/appeared the HSC (Std.XII)Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects
They should have secured at least required percentage of marks (as notified by the Government from time to time) in the above subjects taken together;
There is no age limit for MH CET
Eligibility criteria for Candidates belonging to Person with Disability:
In addition to the basic qualification mentioned above, candidate who is suffering from any one of the following permanent disability is eligible to seek admission against seats reserved for Persons with Disability candidates (i.e. Candidate who is visually impaired (blind) Candidate type- P1, Candidate who is speech & hearing impaired (deaf & dumb) Candidate type- P2, Candidate who has orthopedic disorders, learning disabilities, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Spastic Candidate type -P3), provided they submit a certificate clearly stating that the extent of disability is not less than 40% and the disability is of permanent nature.
Admission to Mining Engineering course: Female candidates are not eligible for admission to Mining Engineering course.

MHT-CET 2020 Admission Process
Step 1: Register for MH CET 2020
Firstly, candidates aspiring for MHCET 2020 have to register themselves on the official portal byng the details required. Without registration, candidate will not be able to fill the MHTCET 2020 application form.
Step 2: Filling the application form
Candidates will be required to fill in their personal details, academic details , and communication details while filling the application form. After entering all the details, candidates will be required to pay the application fee. For open/general category candidates, the application fee will be Rs 800 + Rs 60 (Bank Commission) and for reserved category candidates, it will be Rs 600 + Rs 60 (Bank Commission). MHCET application fee needs to be paid in cash via bank challan.
Step 3: Download MHT CET 2020 Admit card
MHT CET admit cards can be downloaded from the official website of the exam. For this, the candidate has to visit the official website at any time between April last week and May second week.
Step 4: Appear for MHT CET 2020
MHT CET will be conducted in the first week of May. Aspirants are advised to reach the exam centre at least one hour before commencement of the exam.
Step 5: MHT CET 2020 Result
MHT CET 2020 exam result will be declared in the month of June. The result will consist candidate’s merit position, total marks obtained, and marks obtained in each subject.
Step 6: Appear for MHTCET 2020 Counselling
Aspirants who clear the exam will need to appear for MH CET 2020 counselling which will be held in July.

MHT CET is conducted in online mode. Carry along one ball pen with you as you would be provided a sheet of paper for rough work at the exam hall.
What not to carry to the exam hall?
Mobile Phones, calculators, watch, alarm clocks, digital watches with built-in calculators/memory, scanner devices, Bluetooth enabled devices etc. will not be allowed inside the exam hall.
Documents required
Aspirants appearing for the exam must ensure that they carry their MHT- CET admit cards to the exam centre. The hall ticket should have your photo affixed on it. Along with this, candidates must carry one valid, state/central government-issued photo identification card. The documents that can be carried are:

For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates- The candidate should be an Indian National, Passed diploma course in pharmacy with at least 45 % of marks (at least 40% marks in case of a candidate of backward class categories and persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra state) and Any other criterion declared by appropriate authority from time to time.
2.Master of Pharmacy:
Master of Pharmacy is a two-year degree course Affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, commonly known as M. Pharmacy or M. Pharm. Master of Pharmacy with Specializations in Pharmaceutics, Quality Assurance Techniques, and Pharmacology.
Eligibility criteria for admission to Master of Pharmacy:
Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates- The candidate should be an Indian National, passed Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from any AICTE or PCI or Central or State government approved institutions with at least 55 % of marks (at least 50% marks in case of a candidate of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging only to Maharashtra state) in the above subjects taken together, Obtained score in GPAT conducted by AICTE and for sponsored candidates minimum of 2 years of full time work experience in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.
3.Doctor of Pharmacy:
Doctor of Pharmacy is a six-year degree course Affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, commonly known as Pharm. D.
Eligibility criteria for admission to first year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.)-
