(quick note: Cyn and Tessa's relationship is purely platonic) When Tessa saved Cyn, Cyn really appreciated her. She still was rather cold with Tessa, but she eventually became obsessed with Tessa, following her everywhere, using the solver cameras to do it if she couldn't follow her with herself. Due to abuse from the Elliot family (except Tessa) and some remaining trauma of her former life, she grew to resent almost all of humanity. She planned the gala massacre just like the original show, but she didn't really kill Tessa like she does there. She has N, V, and J lock Tessa away for the massacre in a nearby storage closet, but Tessa could still hear every scream, the thuds of bodies, and the sight of blood seeling through the crack of the door when a person was killed right Infront of it. Eventually the door is opened and Tessa is pulled out, struggling and begging for her life. Cyn promises she won't kill Tessa. Cyn did the usual skinning, but she made sure Tessa didn't die, and did it rather differently. Cyn severed Tessa's head from within after she connected herself to Tessa after removing her own head, removed the rest of the body except the skin, and got inside. Stitching everything up with the help of the main cast (stuck under her control) while she fused with Tessa's head, her body starting to replicate the most basic human functions to keep Tessa alive. Tessa loses full control of her life, stuck in her own remains. Tessa can't speak, she can't move Cyn's body, she can't move anything of her face, all she can do is just see through her eyes, and see everything Cyn looks at. She still gets tired, still experiences emotional suffering, etc. she's severely traumatized by everything, and wishes she was dead every single day, but Cyn refuses to kill her, no matter how much Tessa begs and begs and begs through their combined thoughts. Cyn doesn't sleep for days, weeks, months, even years at some points, and it leaves Tessa exhausted, but she still can't sleep no matter how tired she gets, and has to hope Cyn listens to her begging of at least going to sleep, so Tessa can finally get some sleep, even if it's only for a few hours.

One silver lining, a small bit of mercy, is Cyn talks to her often, listening for Tessa's voice in the head when they do, and on a rare occasion when the main cast (of the show, this story doesn't focus on them solely, though) are called to The Hive, Cyn will sometimes allow Tessa to talk to them, specifically N, but relaying everything Tessa says, listening to her thoughts for Tessa, and then speaking them as Tessa can't speak on her own
