Checo and Lisa need more friends if they’re going to get promoted when they go to work on Monday so Checo spsends his weekend on the phone.

And Lisa gets her first pregnancy pop. Sorry for the weird angle I really should swap the door to this room out for an arch so I can get better screenshots of this area.

More promotions! And they both get the weekend off so they can spend some time together!

Or maybe Lisa will be busy with other things...

Tessa tried to skip school the next day by playing videogames in the bathroom where she thought I wouldn’t see her. She ended up missing a good portion of the schoolday but she did get there for the last 2 hours.

After Tessa switched places with her dad at the chess table and told Justin all about it. I think he was just too polite to tell her he didn’t really care.

When he left I sent her downtown to get a cellphone and handheld game since those were wants I could actually fulfill for her.

I didn’t realize that sims who fall asleep while sitting in the booth chair wouldn’t faceplant into their food. Although I guess I wouldn’t have since the only time I’ve used the booth in the past was for restaurants and I don’t think I’ve had a sim pass out in their food there.

Checo gets the chance card that I hate that most because I rarely get it right regardless of which option I choose, but this time we actually got a good outcome from it! And he also got a promotion!

The next day Lisa has the day off so she spends the morning skilling. Later she notices that their two fruit trees have some pests hanging around so she breaks out some spray to get rid of them.

Tessa comes back from school shortly after with her report card and she seems disappointed that her grades are average. Well that’s what happens when you don’t do your homework.

Riverblossom Mayor Lisa Ramirez comes home from work in the business career with some groceries in hand and some bad news for the family. There’s a power outage going on which is estimated to last about 2 days.

Tessa does not take the news well. Even though the family only owns 2 pieces of electronic entertainment: their TV that nobody watches and their computer that nobody really uses either.

Checo and Lisa aren’t bothered by the power being out and find other ways to keep themselves occupied.

Checo and Tessa spend Sunday evening playing chess together.

And Lisa was upstairs resting when she was woken up for her second pregnancy pop. Once again she won’t give birth until the next round. I think there’s going to be another big baby boom in Round 3.

Well Griff was there when the community lot loaded so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. They ended up going to one of the bowling alleys but I don’t remember which one and I don’t feel like loading up my game just to check. Not that it matters because they did not bowl together.

Tessa wanted to grab a bite so she went to grab them a table. Server lady please don’t give alcohol to minors.

Unfortunately once again the date does not get above the “okay” level. I highly doubt there’s a third date in their future. This guy has been sending so many mixed signals.

Well that’s a surprise, I didn’t think we’d be hearing from you again Griff. Tessa was about to drop from exhaustion but I didn’t know that so I accepted his offer.

Wait what the heck? Were you here the whole time? 

Well Tessa got into the taxi anyway...let’s see how this goes.

Checo gets another promotion! I like that he and Lisa have careers where the hours don’t change too drastically after each promotion (looking at you slacker career).

Lisa came home during her daughter’s date with a promotion.

She gave Tessa a pep talk to cheer her up after Griff left. One bad date wasn’t the end of things, she was still young and she’d go on lots of better ones in the future.

She gets set up with a townie named Griff.

He’s more attracted to her than she is to him but I think we can work with this.

It was a nice spring day so they spent the whole date outside playing catch and kicky bag.

It didn’t get beyond the “okay” level though because neither of them rolled more wants for for the other after I fulfilled the initial ones.

I finally caved and let Tessa call the matchmaker to set up a blind date because her aspiration meter was getting low and she just wants to go on a date with somebody. So Justin Kim who she brought home from school has to hang out with her dad while he skills for work.

She spent most of the family’s personal funds on this date so hopefully it’s a good one!

Lisa was the first to jump on the family computer once the power was back. She was dying to know what she’d missed on Simblr since they last had internet.
