#MAU: Bluewater Village Round 2

The family could only afford one sun lamp and for some reason Ramir did not stay in that room overnight so when the sun came out the next day he ran outside to replenish his sunlight motive.

Then went back inside to try for that third child for his LTW.

And it’s a good thing Brandi wasn’t pregnant because she got electrocuted trying to fix their laptop after work.

Crap.

Yes I know you’re tired but we have more pressing concerns right now-

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

Thankfully she did not die. Neve was able to call the fire department from the downstairs phone and Brandi woke up immediately after I told her to. She did freak out at the fire a bit more once she was back up.

Beau comes back from school in a pretty good mood after winning a spelling bee and gaining a logic skill point.

He greets Beatrice Monty who happens to be walking by.

They have 2 bolts together so after chatting for a while he invites her on a date which she accepts. Apparently I took no photos of the actual date.

But it ended up being an okay date. They didn’t roll a lot of wants about each other so it was pretty hard to get the score up.

Later that evening she brings him possibly the weirdest date gift I’ve ever seen.

Here are Bluewater Village’s stats at the end of Round 2.

There are 20 residents living in 6 households. This is an increase of 8 residents and 2 households from the end of Round 1.

For neighbourhood additions there was 1 baby born and 4 residents moved in from other neighbourhoods.

The neighbourhood had 5 residents move out and 0 sims died this round.

The town’s treasury collected §900 for taxes, received §0 in donations, gave out §0 for tax refunds, and spent §0 on town projects bringing the current treasury balance to §5,300.

Mickey had the day off so he spent the day digging in the front yard with some success.

No, just no. We’re ending this round here.

It’s Friday evening so Mickey invites Chloe over for a date.

I thought the date might be doomed a bit when she rolled a want to get married to Chester shortly into the date.

In the end I had nothing to worry about. The date was a dream date even if Chloe left while Mickey was asleep.

Except maybe this...I locked this for now but we’ll see if Mickey proposes to her or not next round. Right now he seems really head over heels for her but he also rolled a want for 2 loves after the date was over.

Mickey decides to go for his first kiss and Chloe lets him.

And then immediately after their kiss is done she turns around and Almeric has his first kiss with her as well.

Almeric gets sent home early for a) losing sea lice they were working with; b) trying to hide the truth by replacing them with other sea lice; and c) killing the replacements.

Last up for the Bluewater Village rotation is Bluewater Residence. Current residents are recent graduates Mickey Dosser and Almeric Davis. I was pleasantly surprised that the Davis brothers got randomly assigned to the same neighbourhood after graduation.

After what feels like the shortest baby stage ever it’s time for Max to become a toddler!

He’s a Capricorn with a 5/9/7/7/4 personality. He also aged up into an outfit that matches the family’s blue/yellow colour scheme which I found amusing.

Klara needed to rest up for her next shift so Aldric started teaching Max his toddler skills.

And it looks like there might be some consequences to that ‘called in sick to work’ woohoo.

The next day Aldric finds an opening in politics which he’d rolled a want for when they moved in. However, their ROS challenge is to call in sick 1 time so hopefully he doesn’t get fired.

Wow. I can’t believe his boss bought that. Well he’s got the day off I wonder what he’ll do now.

Oh of course. Was anybody really surprised?

Because they weren’t able to find jobs in careers they wanted Aldric ducks outside to dig for treasure, and he actually found some!

He goes back inside and does not disguise his digust at Chloe’s stink cloud that’s forming.

The first thing Klara does is hire a maid. They’re unemployed, took out a loan for this house and have barely any money left but she rolled a want for it so I figured why not.

Meanwhile Aldric greets the neighbours who came to welcome them to the neighbourhood.

Chloe was excited to hear about their trip over from Mission State University.

Later Klara whipped up some lunch for everybody and they all cornered around Klara and Aldric’s tiny kitchen table.

Next up is a new household, the Davis family have moved into 25 Toboggan Way (AKA the house that used to have a staircase leading to the entrance on the 2nd floor). As fun as the uniqueness of that floorplan is, whenever I moved sims into this house in the past they’d always be late for work because they’d have to go up the stairs to get to the front door then back down the stairs to get to their carpool, so the front door is now on the first floor.

Cynthia has her second pregnancy pop! It looks like the baby will be born a few hours after the start of their next rotation.
