As an entomophobe, the concept of the sleepless is utterly terrifying
Imagine you're talking to that one girl who's creepy but in a cute way and she's always talking about strange horoscope thingamabobs and one day HER FACE JUST POPS OFF AND SCUTTLES AWAY
THAT CUTE GIRL WAS A BUNCH OF FUCKING BUGS
I would scream. And probably cry. Would never talk to anyone again

Hello do you happen to have thoughts on Masaka
YES I DO!!! i LOVE her i love the concept of some of the sleepless going off world AND i love the ones that want to be seen as human, she’s the best of both.
i think her and izzy are dating no question.
also i think she was the one to first recommend the noodle shop because she knew design was from off world too.
i like that she thinks humans are cute. it’s a silly touch.

Watching Masks again and Ive always wanted to make Masaka and Korgano into sun and moon dragons in our DnD homebrew. As a mated pair that you never see together, are adversarial, yet need each other cause their powers balance. could be as elementals in dragon shape too.
Minis ive had my eyes on for this are the Dragon King from Kingdom death, due to those horns. When I first saw him I immediately thought of Korgano and got the idea. The other one I just found and seems to be from Dragon trappers lodge
Idk how many others on here play dnd, probs quite a few, but just wanted to show the idea to someone who gets the reference

The KD Korgano guy is 175$ which uh......ya may take time. but hed look killer with a silver and blue colorscheme

One of the most prominent results of the work of masaka and delorix agricultural scientists is the staple crop of sessile worms. These are genetically engineered oligochaete-like worms from the masaka taxonomic tree that have been modified for lifelong stationary lives. Their neurological systems have been removed, their mouths have been converted to mycilia-like tendrils for absorbing nutrients, and they're designed to easily regrow after being cut into pieces as long as their tendrils are still rooted. These worm crops have been developed to make farming meat for masakas less resource intensive, as they are obligate carnivores. Nowadays these crops are common among masaka colonies across the galaxy, present in communities from factory farms in metropolis cities to logs in rural communities like in the above picture. All they require to grow is a damp, minimally ventilated moist environment, and scraps of vegetation to feed off of. They can be processed in a variety of ways, including as stuffing in baked or fried dough, grilled, sauteed, pickled, dried in salt, as well as eaten raw. As widespread as these GMO crops are, there are masaka planet colonies (or smaller communities) who choose to abstain from these producing these crops, preferring instead to continue to cultivate their traditional farm animals.
