Feel like Adult Aang as a fully realized war-ending Avatar would be a master at social engineering, considering he’s was already a social butterfly, plus he already was so charismatic before he even found out he was the Avatar (for example, he teaches an entire group of kids HIS technique right before he is told that he is the Avatar) Basically as a kid he can easily get people like him, but as an adult who has seen the cruelties of the world much more intimately, he can read and calculate what an opposing person “threatening the balance” might do now too!

meanwhile Adult “hello, Zuko here” ass was put into such a challenging position as baby 16yo Firelord of a newly reforming/demilitarizing state, that he was even less likely to go out of his comfort zone (learning to socialize and communicate with strangers…) unless he absolutely needed to, considering his life changed in a blink of an eye. Yeah, he knows how to work with the Fire Nation officials or certain ambassadors, but he still has no clue what he’s doing in unfamiliar social scenarios.

basically what I’m trying to say is in adult Zukaang, Aang is an absolute MENACE to his poor still socially-awkward uptight boyfriend, and he loves to run circles around him and mess with him very much (Zuko always smiles and laughs eventually anyways so it’s okay)
