Payment, Returns & Checkout Information

Return Policy You may return merchandise purchased from Buydig for a refund or a replacement, provided that the procedures and requirements referred to in our return policy are followed. All product returns require a return authorization number (RA). A RA number must be issued within 30 calendar days after the date of purchase; it will be valid for 14 calendar days after it is issued.

Removal or alteration of a product’s upc number, serial number or upc/serial number sticker will automatically void your Buydig Return Policy. Products that are returned to Buydig with a missing, damaged or altered serial number will be refused RMA service and returned to you.

Refunds Refunds are applied to the payment method used at the time of purchase 5-10 days after receipt of the returned merchandise. We will only refund the value of the merchandise returned, not the shipping charge.

Exchanges If you purchased a product from Buydig that you wish to exchange for an alternative, you can return the item for a refund and simply place a new order for the item you desire. We do not apply a refund credit to your new purchase

Defective Item An item that was discovered to be defective upon receipt can be replaced with the same model only. You may also return a defective item for a refund.

Damaged Items All Packages are inspected for damage before they ship from our warehouse. If your package has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately. We must be informed of all shipping related claims within 1 business day after the date of receipt. We do not issue refunds for returns of damaged merchandise. An item that was discovered damaged upon receipt will be replaced with the same model only.

International Customers Please be advised that our products are intended for a US market. If it is to be used outside of the US, please check in advance that it will work. Returns on international orders require the customer pay the return shipping.

Sleeper: A stealthily upgraded Triumph Street Twin

We’re all for extreme machines that draw a crowd when parked up, but we also love ‘sleeper’ customs—those that keep their performance potential under wraps.

At first glance, this Triumph from Amsterdam looks like a regular Street Twin with a mild retro makeover. But it’ll probably get its rider from A to B faster than any other Street Twin in Europe, thanks to a heavily reworked engine and big suspension upgrades.

It belongs to sculptor Ram Katzir, whose work is shown all over the world—from theaters in Tel Aviv to parks in Japan. And when Ram isn’t working on static objects of beauty, he likes to ride fast on his bike.

The Street Twin is a terrific starting point for customization. The 270-degree crank engine has oodles of torque and feels bigger than it really is, the ergos are great, and the styling nails the classic ‘Brit bike’ look. As soon as it came out, it was a massive sales hit, and garnered plenty of positive reviews too.

Ram bought one of the first bikes to come out of the factory, and quickly starting planning a few mods.

“It started as a commissioned project, designed by me and Steven Decaluwe from Motokouture in Belgium,” Ram tells us. “We used a brand new 2016 Street Twin as the base.

“After a 5,000 km trip across Europe, from Amsterdam to Paris to Barcelona and back, I decided it could use extra power. So in 2018, Classic Bike Raisch in Germany installed their Stage 4 kit—adding 16hp to the stock bike.”

The engine work includes a new camshaft, an x-pipe for the exhaust, a new air filter cover with a bigger intake, and a Dynojet Power Commander V with custom mapping. The new mufflers are from the Italian company Spark, and at 3.5 kilos each, are under half the weight of the standard items.

The compact Street Twin now pumps out a solid 70 horsepower, with the grunt hitting the back wheel via a Renthal sprocket and DID chain. But the new suspension can handle this comfortably: the forks are from a Street Triple R, with Öhlins shocks to match.

The Triumph catalog was raided further for the F18/R17 wheels from a Thruxton R, which are now shod with Pirelli MT60 tires. At the front, stopping power increases with a Beringer four-pot caliper and Galfer disc.

Less obvious upgrades are the Rizoma bars capped with Renthal grips. The levers are from Brembo (brake) and ASV (clutch), the lighting is provided by LSL all round, and Ram has specified a Daytona rev counter to sit next to the stock Triumph speedo.

The Raisch engine mods increase the rev limit from 6500 rpm to 7500 rpm, which is still within the healthy range used by the 900 cc engine—so Ram can now keep an eye on revolutions.

The aesthetics are as sharp as the performance, thanks to the additions from Motokouture. There’s a quick release leather seat, a waspish tracker-style tail unit, new side panels and 
a custom front fender, chain guard and number plate holder.

Motokouture also built luggage racks 
and soft panniers, which Ram can install when he goes on one of his longer rides.

This is one of those customs that hits the sweet spot between form and function. And exactly the type of bike we’d love to take on a massive road trip around Europe right now.

Payment, Returns & Checkout Information

Return Policy You may return merchandise purchased from Buydig for a refund or a replacement, provided that the procedures and requirements referred to in our return policy are followed. All product returns require a return authorization number (RA). A RA number must be issued within 30 calendar days after the date of purchase; it will be valid for 14 calendar days after it is issued.

Removal or alteration of a product’s upc number, serial number or upc/serial number sticker will automatically void your Buydig Return Policy. Products that are returned to Buydig with a missing, damaged or altered serial number will be refused RMA service and returned to you.

Refunds Refunds are applied to the payment method used at the time of purchase 5-10 days after receipt of the returned merchandise. We will only refund the value of the merchandise returned, not the shipping charge.

Exchanges If you purchased a product from Buydig that you wish to exchange for an alternative, you can return the item for a refund and simply place a new order for the item you desire. We do not apply a refund credit to your new purchase

Defective Item An item that was discovered to be defective upon receipt can be replaced with the same model only. You may also return a defective item for a refund.

Damaged Items All Packages are inspected for damage before they ship from our warehouse. If your package has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately. We must be informed of all shipping related claims within 1 business day after the date of receipt. We do not issue refunds for returns of damaged merchandise. An item that was discovered damaged upon receipt will be replaced with the same model only.

International Customers Please be advised that our products are intended for a US market. If it is to be used outside of the US, please check in advance that it will work. Returns on international orders require the customer pay the return shipping.

Television Returns Buyers Remorse for TVs in Brand New condition: If you are not 100% satisfied with your TV purchase, you may return it within 30 days from delivery for a full refund, less return shipping fees. Can The Signature On My Package Be Waived? We apologize, but for security purposes, we cannot waive the signature on a package. You can make arrangements to pick up a package from the shipping terminal.

Payment, Returns & Checkout Information

Return Policy You may return merchandise purchased from Buydig for a refund or a replacement, provided that the procedures and requirements referred to in our return policy are followed. All product returns require a return authorization number (RA). A RA number must be issued within 30 calendar days after the date of purchase; it will be valid for 14 calendar days after it is issued.

Removal or alteration of a product’s upc number, serial number or upc/serial number sticker will automatically void your Buydig Return Policy. Products that are returned to Buydig with a missing, damaged or altered serial number will be refused RMA service and returned to you.

Refunds Refunds are applied to the payment method used at the time of purchase 5-10 days after receipt of the returned merchandise. We will only refund the value of the merchandise returned, not the shipping charge.

Exchanges If you purchased a product from Buydig that you wish to exchange for an alternative, you can return the item for a refund and simply place a new order for the item you desire. We do not apply a refund credit to your new purchase

Defective Item An item that was discovered to be defective upon receipt can be replaced with the same model only. You may also return a defective item for a refund.

Damaged Items All Packages are inspected for damage before they ship from our warehouse. If your package has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately. We must be informed of all shipping related claims within 1 business day after the date of receipt. We do not issue refunds for returns of damaged merchandise. An item that was discovered damaged upon receipt will be replaced with the same model only.

International Customers Please be advised that our products are intended for a US market. If it is to be used outside of the US, please check in advance that it will work. Returns on international orders require the customer pay the return shipping.

Return Shipping Return shipping cost (the cost to send an item back to our store) is like or comparable to your cost of driving to any store for returning an item, which is not reimbursable. Therefore, we do not reimburse any return shipping cost.

If an item you received is defective, we will certainly replace the item with a new one, however we do not cover or reimburse the shipping cost for returning defective merchandise back to our store. We will ship the replacement product to you at our cost, and use every good measure to ensure that the replacement order is processed quickly.

Replacement We will send a product replacement after the authorized return has completed our receiving/inspection process. The replacement will ship within four business days following our receipt of your return. Please allow additional processing time after Holidays. Although it is our goal to ship a replacement as quickly as possible, we do not send replacements before we receive and inspect the returned merchandise.

To receive a replacement more quickly, you may place a new order for the same item (shipping not included), and we will issue a refund for the full value of the returned product (including shipping), upon completion of our return process.

Payment, Returns & Checkout Information

Return Policy You may return merchandise purchased from Buydig for a refund or a replacement, provided that the procedures and requirements referred to in our return policy are followed. All product returns require a return authorization number (RA). A RA number must be issued within 30 calendar days after the date of purchase; it will be valid for 14 calendar days after it is issued.

Removal or alteration of a product’s upc number, serial number or upc/serial number sticker will automatically void your Buydig Return Policy. Products that are returned to Buydig with a missing, damaged or altered serial number will be refused RMA service and returned to you.

Refunds Refunds are applied to the payment method used at the time of purchase 5-10 days after receipt of the returned merchandise. We will only refund the value of the merchandise returned, not the shipping charge.

Exchanges If you purchased a product from Buydig that you wish to exchange for an alternative, you can return the item for a refund and simply place a new order for the item you desire. We do not apply a refund credit to your new purchase

Defective Item An item that was discovered to be defective upon receipt can be replaced with the same model only. You may also return a defective item for a refund.

Damaged Items All Packages are inspected for damage before they ship from our warehouse. If your package has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately. We must be informed of all shipping related claims within 1 business day after the date of receipt. We do not issue refunds for returns of damaged merchandise. An item that was discovered damaged upon receipt will be replaced with the same model only.

International Customers Please be advised that our products are intended for a US market. If it is to be used outside of the US, please check in advance that it will work. Returns on international orders require the customer pay the return shipping.

Return Shipping Return shipping cost (the cost to send an item back to our store) is like or comparable to your cost of driving to any store for returning an item, which is not reimbursable. Therefore, we do not reimburse any return shipping cost.

If an item you received is defective, we will certainly replace the item with a new one, however we do not cover or reimburse the shipping cost for returning defective merchandise back to our store. We will ship the replacement product to you at our cost, and use every good measure to ensure that the replacement order is processed quickly.

Replacement We will send a product replacement after the authorized return has completed our receiving/inspection process. The replacement will ship within four business days following our receipt of your return. Please allow additional processing time after Holidays. Although it is our goal to ship a replacement as quickly as possible, we do not send replacements before we receive and inspect the returned merchandise.

To receive a replacement more quickly, you may place a new order for the same item (shipping not included), and we will issue a refund for the full value of the returned product (including shipping), upon completion of our return process.

Returning Items If you do not have the return form, we will provide it together with your RA number. Please fill in the requested information on our product return form, and carefully follow the instructions for return.

All returned merchandise must be in original condition, and must include the original factory box (UPC bar codes and serial numbers must be intact) and factory packaging (e.g. foam, plastic, wrappings, etc.), peripherals (e.g. battery, charger, cords, straps, etc.), included warranty cards (without markings), and all instruction booklets and paperwork. Television Returns Buyers Remorse for TVs in Brand New condition: If you are not 100% satisfied with your TV purchase, you may return it within 30 days from delivery for a full refund, less return shipping fees. International Customers Please be advised that our products are intended for a US market. If it is to be used outside of the US, please check in advance that it will work. Returns on international orders require the customer pay the return shipping.

Return Shipping Return shipping cost (the cost to send an item back to our store) is like or comparable to your cost of driving to any store for returning an item, which is not reimbursable. Therefore, we do not reimburse any return shipping cost.

If an item you received is defective, we will certainly replace the item with a new one, however we do not cover or reimburse the shipping cost for returning defective merchandise back to our store. We will ship the replacement product to you at our cost, and use every good measure to ensure that the replacement order is processed quickly.

Replacement We will send a product replacement after the authorized return has completed our receiving/inspection process. The replacement will ship within four business days following our receipt of your return. Please allow additional processing time after Holidays. Although it is our goal to ship a replacement as quickly as possible, we do not send replacements before we receive and inspect the returned merchandise.

To receive a replacement more quickly, you may place a new order for the same item (shipping not included), and we will issue a refund for the full value of the returned product (including shipping), upon completion of our return process.

Returning Items If you do not have the return form, we will provide it together with your RA number. Please fill in the requested information on our product return form, and carefully follow the instructions for return.

All returned merchandise must be in original condition, and must include the original factory box (UPC bar codes and serial numbers must be intact) and factory packaging (e.g. foam, plastic, wrappings, etc.), peripherals (e.g. battery, charger, cords, straps, etc.), included warranty cards (without markings), and all instruction booklets and paperwork. The RA number or any other inscriptions must not be written or printed on the product box or packaging. We will not process the return if any of these conditions are not followed.

Retuned merchandise that is lost or damaged during transit is solely the shipper’s responsibility. It is important save the tracking information and to properly insure all merchandise being returned to Buydig.

Television Returns Buyers Remorse for TVs in Brand New condition: If you are not 100% satisfied with your TV purchase, you may return it within 30 days from delivery for a full refund, less return shipping fees. Custom Bikes Of The Week: 2 February, 2020

A beautifully modified Honda Dominator from Spain, a CB1000R commissioned by Honda Italia, a $58,000 Laverda SFC, and news of a collaboration between Zero and Filson.

Honda NX650 Dominator by KoolT Creations The evergreen Dominator is a simple but utterly brilliant bike, easy to locate secondhand, and deservedly popular with bike builders. Unfortunately that means there are quite a few botched custom jobs out there: Dommies that have traded most of their practicality for dubious aesthetics.

This sharp-looking build from Barcelona-based videographer Stefan Lantschner hits the sweet spot, though. No stone has been left unturned: the engine was removed from the frame, which was cleaned up, and fitted with a new back end and new mounts to take a Honda CG125 gas tank.

Since his lovely Yamaha XT600 tracker build, Stefan has taught himself to use an English wheel. So he made a set of new side panels, and while everything was sent off for the luscious paint, his friend Salva upgraded and repositioned the electrical system. Stefan’s also completely revitalized the cockpit area with a mix of ProTaper and Renthal parts.

The engine keeps its airbox to maintain rideability, but there are new header pipes now hooked up to a CRF muffler. With refurbished suspension to match the slick work elsewhere, this NX650 finally has the looks to match its potential. [More]

Honda CB1000R by Imbarcadero 14 Venice The Honda CB1000R previously looked like a dozen other sports/nakeds, but on the latest model, hectic angles have given way to tasteful contours. It’s a goer too—with 143 hp and 104 Nm on tap, backed by electronic rider aids and decent handling.

So when Honda Italia commissioned a custom CB1000R from the Italian custom shop Imbarcadero 14 Venice, there was one big caveat: don’t mess with its bones.

Imbarcadero 14 is a crew of three, and they’ve called the CB ‘Reversa’—because all the new bodywork can be removed via a handful of fasteners. “The project was really challenging,” says shop boss Maurizio Carraro, “because of the limits required by Honda. But these limits were also an incentive to build an avant-garde motorcycle that you can ride daily on public roads.”

The new body kit takes inspiration from 1980s Lamborghinis. All the pieces you see here were shaped and welded by hand, without any bucks, wireframes or 3D printed molds. The main aluminum monocoque that incorporates the original taillight and the new fairing is fabricated from titanium—which is why it bears ‘Ti22’ graphics on the sides.

This CB’s kitted with a few smaller custom parts too. It now wears a new top triple clamp, custom-machined clip-ons and foot controls, and an exhaust from Nano-Tech S.p.a.—a company more used to building carbon components for a major Italian sports car factory. The $58,000 Laverda SFC We’ve always had a crush on classic Laverdas and this bright orange SFC is one of the best we’ve seen. It was recently listed by renowned classic Italian specialist Peter Boggia of Moto Borgotaro for a heady $58,000 on eBay.

Boggia knows his stuff, and says, “To me the SFC is the pinnacle of 70s Italian sport bikes—it hits all the marks and it’s built like a tank. This is the closest bike in feel to a Lamborghini Miura.”

Super Freni Competizione translates to ‘super competition brakes’ and the SFC was basically a race bike for the road. Early machines had substantial magnesium brake drums, and the component selection is top-notch—from the Borrani wheels to the Ceriani forks and Nippon Denso electrics.

This 1974 SFC has a great provenance, with one careful owner over the past ten years and a lot of work done by another Laverda specialist, Scott Potter. Boggia himself has fettled the bike into tip-top condition: “I decided to give her a once over, and clean and replace the jets, and set the points. After putting in some fresh fuel, this beast roared back to life.” Definite dream garage material. [Via]

Zero DSR x Filson collaboration Electric bikes tend to be associated with short-range commuting duties. So it’s significant that Seattle-based outdoor gear maker Filson has chosen to work with Zero to launch its new ‘Alcan’ moto gear range.

Zero have done a light mod job on this DSR, adding auxiliary lights, new crash bars, a rear luggage rack and knobby tires—plus side brackets to hold Filson luggage. The same luggage material is also used as a seat cover and there’s a subtle but very smart custom paint job.

Zero quotes a city range of 204 miles (328 km) for the DSR, which should be enough for a day of moderate trail riding with a loop back home, or even a jaunt out to a tranquil spot for an overnight camp. And the thought of being able to do this in virtual silence is very appealing.
