BASICALLY Loyle Carner really really deserves to win, his album is absolutely incredible and makes me cry and have SUCH feels if you've never listened to Loyle Carner or haven't listened to his new album Hugo then I beg you to go do it it is a musical phenomena

Uhhhh I wasn't keen on the Arctic Monkeys album to be entirely honest I like their older stuff more (some of it was okay tho)

The RAYE album I didn't like at first but then listened to again and some of the tracks I really really love so a mixed bag? I've realised the album is much better for being angry at someone and that enhances the listening lmao

Olivia Dean album is great and I enjoyed it

Jessie Ware was even better and I fully believe it contains some of the best songs of this year/last year

Didn't like J Hus, not my kind of music

Jockstrap is, of course, brilliant and they've been playing their music nonstop on 6music recently lmao they're pretty great

Slightly concerned they won't give him the award this year due to the rap album last year winning?? But they wouldn't do that right because both Little Simz and Loyle Carner more than deserve it
