My best friend crossed the rainbow bridge today. He was 18.5 years old.

Loxy was with me thru it all: losing my Momma, my battle with depression, multiple moves and job changes-- every sunny day and stormy night. He used to come up to me when I was curled up in the throes of misery and lay alongside me and let me cry into his fur.

He was a fat little chonk of love. He loved everybody, and demanded chin scritches of whomever was willing. His preferred toy was string, as long as he could chase it down the hall or bat it furiously into submission. He was a talkative fella, mewling and chirping and yowling his way through life at allnhours of the day. I don't think there was more than a week in his whole life where he wasn't purring. He was also weirdly camera shy, often hiding his face or going quiet the moment he noticed I was filming him. (Which is why I have so many pictures of him sleeping.)

His favorite part of the day was waking me up in the morning, and he used to drool in giddy joy when we reunited after my having been away for too long. He was the epitome of that Calvin and Hobbes strip where Calvin points out it's hard to be mad at someone who misses you while you were asleep.

Ever since I was six years old, I dreamed of having a little ginger kitten with a pink nose, and in 2004 I got my wish. The adventure was better than I ever could have imagined and I'm so grateful he chose me. There aren't words for how bad I'm gonna miss him.

Good night, my sweet Loxy boy. I love you so much.

Loxker, Aka Loxy/Parker is the first canon pairing since they’ve been dating before the story began, we love middle school relationships that last.

Honestly they’re the only bitches that matter to me /j

Ok but let’s get into Headcanons haha-

They hold hands a lot, they’re just... constantly holding hands. Wether it be Loxy dragging him to show him something, they’re walking home from school, or they’re just chilling doing homework. All they know is hold.

Parker literally has one braincell and it’s not doing too hot because of the trauma so Loxy always helps him with his homework, she never yells at him for not grasping something and she remains patient. We love to see it,,,

WHEN THEY FIRST GOT TOGETHER (BECAUSE REMEMBER THEY WERE IN LIKE... SEVENTH GRADE) THEY WERE THAT “CRINGY” FETUS COUPLE WHO PLANNED OUT THEIR FIRST KISS, WOULD POST ON SNAPCHAT LIKE “HAPPY TWELFTH MINUTE ANNIVERSARY 💞”, AND STUFF 💔💔💔 they look back on those days with dread

Loxy could be talking literal nonsense and Parker would still be in the corner, looking at her lovingly like “Omg bb you’re so smart 🥺”

“So is anyone gonna wear this jacket?” “Loxy that’s my jacket-” “too late it’s mine now.” “...Loxy please it’s freezing outside-”

Constantly pushing the other in the right direction 💔💔💔 Loxy just stands at his beside like “You whore I love you but you gotta talk to a therapist.” And Parker would reply “You too dumbass you act like you’re gonna combust if you don’t please people by overworking yourself.” And then they both have an epiphany and just lie there like “Damn why aren’t we mentally well?”

Loxy keeps bringing up their One Inch height difference whenever she can just to tease him,.,..., giggling “Aw are you gonna have to stand on your tippy toes to kiss me?” And he’d roll his eyes and groan “Shut up” but then he does get on his tippy toes just to humor her because they are DORKS.

PARKER HYPES HER UP SO BADHSKHSJS SHED BE LIKE “so yeah when I went to my uncles’ house I killed a Fae” and everyone would be so shocked and Parker would smile all proud and loving like “YOOOOOOO‼️‼️”

In conclusion I love them it’s a shame I don’t talk about them as often as I should
