Hello, I hope you're doing well! I hope this doesn't come off as mean since I'm genuinely curious, but why is Melon your favorite character?

I’m doing good, Anon. Hope you’re doing ok. This isn’t a mean question at all! 😊

I just find him very complex and interesting. Visually, his design (both before and after his body change) encompasses both herbivore and carnivore characteristics and it (to me anyway!) makes him look uniquely beautiful.

His very existence in the manga also challenges the society of Beastars: Herbivores and carnivores can never be together, yet they can fall in love and have children. Hybrid animals are unnatural, yet here is Melon walking around and just trying to live his life just like everyone else.

On a more personal level, Melon is also my go-to muse for writing. Everything about him from his personality, his reasoning for killing and devouring meat, the way he thinks, and even his background and relationships with Legoshi and the Shishigumi spark my imagination.

I love writing how he’d express love or compassion for another person or how his experiences would have impacted his relationships and what could have happened to him had he been loved or had a similar childhood to Legoshi’s.

I don’t necessarily relate to Melon but there are some things about him that I can relate to (him wearing a mask to hide his hybrid features and me masking my own Autistic trait).

I do love Melon but my love for him is more maternal than anything else. I want him to be happy and not have to hide himself. I want him to feel loved and to be loved if he found someone who actually cared for him.

I also think Paru should have utilized him more. Maybe hybrid animals could have played a major role in the final storyline of Beastars and Melon was only a piece of it? I would have loved a Beast Complex chapter of him and Yahya after the manga’s end (just to know what happened after that).

TLDR. Melon is my baby! 🍈❤️

Ok so… I saw Louis yesterday 😭 tbh I’m still processing it because he is the first concert I attended to in years and I was very anxious about it 🫣 I wasn’t sure what to expect but it’s easy to say that Louis exceeded my expectations by miles!! This will be long 🫠

It all started a few months ago when Ceci @uruwhy gave me the idea to go Buenos Aires’ concert, since at the moment Peru wasn’t in the tour. I obviously say yes since I didn’t want to miss the chance to see him live and I started to arrange my trip and holiday so I could also have some days in the city.

Months passed and the day finally arrived!!! Me and Ceci arranged to stay at the same hotel and spend a day together, which was lovely!! We met Friday night… hugged as if we were friends from many years, walked through one of the main’s streets and just talk and talk and talk! The next day she joined me in the Bombonera’s stadium tour and we took lots of pictures in Caminito, a colourful place 💛🧡 we had lunch and then took the subte (underground) towards the venue!!! There were many Louies wearing merch there too, which indicated us we were in the right train 😂

We arrived and saw a VERY VERY LONG LINE!! Like… seas of people!! We obviously realised we weren’t going to be in the front 🪦 but we were chilling, just enjoying our company and trying to buy merch… when we see a commotion! A lot of louies were running and screaming so we also run towards that direction and we saw OLI!!!! Who is so HOT!!!!! He was unbothered hahah he didn’t pay attention to our screams but he is just… hotter than we expected! He looked so good in white and his cap.

We also met Vane @lou1e ❤️❤️ who is so sweet and kind!! I’m so happy that she was at the barricade in the Paraguay show! She truly deserved it!!! ❤️

After that special moment we decided to eat and drink something before the show so we wouldn’t get hungry during the concert. After that we saw people were starting to enter the venue so we patiently waited to our turn to enter. Paz was singing and she was so lovely!! Like she seemed so nice and excited for the opportunity! So sweet and her voice is so good!! We truly enjoyed her set!! After we were extra anxious because only 1:30h for Louis 😭 Sunroom came and the crowd went wild! We were concerned because the venue was very very warm and there was no aircon nor ventilation so it was understandable that some fans were feeling poorly and fainted 😭 fortunately security reacted quickly and could help them.

Then Louis came and we just SCREAMED LIKE CRAZY!!! Like I think I couldn’t believe it! We weren’t super close but I could clearly see his face and his curves and everything! He sounds so perfect!! It amazed me how PERFECT he sounded!! Like so much better than the album 😭 my baby 😭 I felt like a proud mother tbh 😂 the crowd was so LOUD!!! I’m pretty sure I’m dead hahaha I also had a sore throat because I didn’t stop screaming with everything I got! It’s been a while since I’ve felt this carefree and the adrenaline stay with me during the whole night!! It was a crazy experience! There were times I couldn’t hear Louis because the crowd was mega loud 😭 there was a moment when everyone was chanting Perfect Now except for me and ceci since we were screaming Just Hold On 😂 and then we thought he forgot to take the picture so I yelled: Y LA FOTO??? So obviously Louis listened to me since shortly after that he said: ok let’s take a pic 🫣

The concert ended way too soon 😭 me and Ceci walked through the streets feeling so sad it was over 😭 but the funny thing was that our night wasn’t over since our taxi driver played us Louis’ music during our trip and we talked about him and hopefully we turn him into a Louie since he seemed a Harrie 🪦 and maybe a Larrie??? Haha I think the bald man knew way too much 😂

i’m sorry but something about that anon saying that they felt like zayn was being disrespectful to the other members when he left is pretty dumb. i don’t blame him for leaving especially since certain fans treated him like shit during his time there. he left cause he wasn’t comfortable anymore and wanted to become solo. that’s completely okay. he’s a grown ass man i understood why he grew out of the band. plus when zayn was receiving racist remarks by the media and also with “fans” calling him a terrorist etc where was the members to speak up for him for the disgusting racism he received during his time being in one direction and after he left??? is that not disrespectful??? not trying to cause drama here but i felt like this needed to be said. as a poc of colour i will always defend zayn before any white men from that band.

Also I’m sorry but if a member of the biggest boy band in the world couldn’t bag one of the HIGHEST paid models then idk who can😂 at least they were actually in a committed relationship when they had their baby. that’s what I’ve been saying DOUBLE STANDARD cos i don’t see anyone bashing Louis or Liam for having babies with anyone. At least zayn is actually a present father

so yeah, I agree with the anon above, I will always defend zayn as a poc because apart from people being salty that he left the band, he did nothing to deserve the responses he’s been getting. and at this current moment in time when other members have spoken about how hard being in the band was, no one has the right to bash zayn any more because it proves that it was a difficult environment but imagine it 10x worse for zayn who is a poc.

Harry Styles and YN Tomlinson announce they’re expecting their first child

The news we have all been waiting for!

YN Tomlinson has announced she is pregnant with her first child with fiancé Harry Styles.

YN shared her pregnancy news on Instagram with a photo. The photo was of her cradling her baby bump and laughing, whilst Harry is kissing her bump.

YN captioned the post "Christmas came early 👶🏻🤍".

29-year-old YN is the younger sister of One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson. She is an influencer with over 8 million followers and the owner of the clothing brand Styles Fashion.

YN and Harry first began dating in September 2011. Their relationship was exposed after the One Direction star was seen kissing his bandmates sister at a friends party.

The couple are childhood sweethearts, after being together 12 years. The pair split briefly in early 2018 but confirmed their reconciliation in December 2018, when YN posted a photo of them at her family home in Doncaster.

Louis commented on the pregnancy post “Absolutely buzzing!!!”. Many other family members of the couple were quick to share their congratulations with Anne Twist, Harry's Mum, commenting “Congratulations my babies ❤️ I can't wait to meet your precious baby xx” and Niall Horan commenting “Congratulations again guys!! So happy for you x”.

YN nodded "Uh yeah...we didn't actually find out I was pregnant until I was fourteen weeks." YN began to explain. "But before that I just wanted to sleep...I had a lot of headaches and a bit of nausea too.".

Harry began to laugh as he spotted the Irish lad's name. "Niall's here.".

"Yeah...we're going to surprise everyone on Christmas with the gender." YN revealed their plan to share the gender with their families. "What do all of you think the gender is?".

Harry placed a kiss to YN's bump as she still stood, reading through the comments. YN let out a loud chuckle, causing Harry to look at her with a smirk at what had tickled her so much. "Someone commented saying..Harry we need a Kiwi part two".

A cheeky grin covered Harry's face. "Guys..if I'm gonna make a part two to a song...then it'll be for Watermelon Sugar.".

YN's stared at Harry in shock, her mouth wide open. "Harry!".

"Gotta get my watermelon sugar high.".

"On that note...we're ending the live there 'cause Harry can't be trusted to keep it clean.". YN tried to act annoyed but the fans and Harry could see straight through her.
