Cause I'm On The Top Of The [5th Highest Building In] The World
Our host, K water, took us to see Seoul from the highest building in South Korea (which is the 5th tallest building in the world), the Lotte World Tower... This was a nice perspective of the city. I love being in places like this.

Landmark Edition: Seoul Sky at Lotte World Tower
🇰🇷 롯데월드타워 서울스카이
📍300, Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul
📆 Year-round
Seoul Sky is an observatory on several top floors of the Lotte World Tower. Lotte World Tower itself is South Korea’s largest building, and the fifth largest building in the world. According to the official website, “It is the only place where you can take in a gorgeous 360-degree view of Seoul, the capital city of South Korea roaring with brilliant history and dynamic modern culture.”

In the last blog post about the Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival, I mentioned Lotte World Tower being the backdrop of the 1000s of cherry blossom trees during the festival.

It’s not just the views that Seoul Sky is known for. The observatory also houses cafes, exhibitions, and even a secret garden.
Even the elevators inside the tower to take you to the top are record-breaking - they travel at 600 metres per minute, with floor to ceiling screens that display images of Seoul and the Han River.
The elevator rockets you from the ground floor to the top of the tower in one minute. (source)

Observation Decks
Floor 117 is where you start. Think of it as gradually acclimating yourself to the view and to the idea of how high you are, because the next floor, Floor 118, is where the glass floors start!
Even better (scarier) - the floor suddenly turns from opaque to clear, leaving you with a feeling of walking on air.
Floor 118 features the world’s highest indoor glass floor at 478 metres. (source)
Floor 120 is the Sky Terrace, where the best views of Seoul are. It can understandably get quite crowded, with people jostling to take photographs amongst the clouds.

Cafes, Gifts, and the Seoul Sky Secret Garden
As well as the spectacular views, Seoul Sky also offers cafes, gift stores, and also a secret garden!

Korea Chronicles : Lotte World Tower and Best Seafood in Seoul (Part 2)
Korea Chronicles : Lotte World Tower and Best Seafood in Seoul (Part 2) Early this month I went to Korea for 10 days for both @USANAHealthSciences Asia Pacific Convention and holiday, to meet my friends in Korea. Thanks to my good friend @koreansusu3411 (Jinsu) I get to travel and experience Korea like a local. This was part 2 of my trip which was after the convention. I went back to my friend's house near Lotte World Tower and visited many places around there which of course include the Legendary @lotteworldtower_official . In the morning, we went for breakfast at Song Ri Dan Gil (Songridan Road) which is next to where Jinsu lives. The shops are open early morning and we can find a lot of fresh food there like seafood, meat, lots of fruits and vegetables and lots of breakfast places. We had our breakfast at Boribap which means Barley Rice. It's a very famous restaurant among the locals but tourist would not know about it. It was divine. Then I went to Lotte World Tower ( @lotteworldtower_official ) I was so lucky that they were putting a Young Chang piano there for a month and I got to play it. There are so many talented kids, I think they are babies, in Korea, and almost all of them could play crazy technical classical songs. I need to retire soon. Anyway, of course I played on it too. I received a few encores from the audience and ended up playing multiple songs. Made a few new friends including one of my very own subscribers who's working at Lotte World Tower! She told me she has been watching me since she was 17. Evening I went back to Jinsu's house, rested a little then proceeded for dinner at Songridan Road at a restaurant called Sol In Ne which is super famous for their Joen (Korean Pancakes). We ordered the variety one which includes most of the pancakes. With Rice Wine!!!! Too good!!! Then we went for another dinner right opposite Sol In Ne, it was a seafood restaurant specialized in clams!!! We ordered the set which has everything too. It was divine!!!! One of the best seafood places I've ever eaten. So extremely fresh and very affordable! At night, we went to the park outside Lotte World and talked about life and work.
