ok so this is her in heroforge, which is the best i can do because i never practice drawing enough for various reasons

the art Lorebird did of her was a feral version (meaning a non-anthro version) She is an Undertale oc because most of my oc's are, but really in this context all you need to know is that the community she lives in hunts humans to use their souls to escape the mountain they're trapped under. Anyways, Sayala used to live with her younger siblings, in the forests outside of Snowdin, for years, until they found a human child they all bonded with. A year later, long enough for young wolf monsters to bond tightly with their new human sibling, they encountered a few Royal Guards, who captured the human. Sayala's siblings attempted to get their friend back, but were killed in the ensuing fight. Sayala holds a grudge against all Royal Guard members to this day. She lives in a cave deep in the forests where she hunts for her own food, terrorizes the local guard group, and keeps a close and protective eye on her friends, Corela, Zora, and Tiama, though they live in other parts of The Underground Speaking of them, lets backtrack. Because this story is not as simple as Sayala thinks. You see those royal guards were actually corrupt, and paid off by a scientist who was planning to use that human soul to try and create a more efficient way of breaking the barrier keeping monsters trapped. His main experiment was a dragon monster's soul with a fragment of a human soul spliced in, but she escaped. His secondary experiment was the reverse, using the remnants of the dragon's soul and what was left of a human soul to create a slightly wonky human. Both of them escaped and eventually reunited. Their names are Corela and Zora. Both of them were adopted and cared for by Sayala, as neither of them do well in the cold, especially Corela, as they're both dragon-like. They were cared for at different times, as Corela is about 10 years older than Zora, just from how long the experiments took. So Sayala was unknowingly reunited with the human who was part of her pack when she was younger. And nobody knows, because the guards who captured the human are long gone, and the scientist doesn't know the connection between them. And Corela and Zora don't have any real memories from the souls that were used to make them.

If you care about drawing representation you should also care about how some people can interpret it. I wasn’t saying that making him blacker was the fetish part. Absolutely not. I’m saying it came off as a colorist stereotype bc when you drew him in a regular outfit you had made him his canon skin tone (because yes, he has a canon skin tone. No there’s absolutely no problem making him darker.) but when you drew his more procactive outfit (adding on a thong) you drew him considerably darker. I’m not saying you were intentionally doing this. I’m saying it came off that way.

The art of him with the Canon skin tone was from a year ago. we've only drawn leading light twice, I believe. That's all I personally remember. The one from yesterday, and then a drawing from a year ago. again, we are shifting our art so that we are drawing all and every form of Gordon freeman darkskinned. I didn't mean to make it seem like I was darkening his skin just to draw sexual art of him. that was not my intention.

and again, like I said in another post I added on. The art in specific I drew was colorpicked from a Leading Light fictive in our partner sys (@fizzysystem)
