Trying to figure out my personal war games canon and so far what I've got is Steph does die. Like for real. Leslie does everything to save her and lies about letting her die afterwards to Bruce. Steph was then brought back to life due to accidental reality warping. Not superboy prime though, two bats from one guy is too much. I want to say the Aberration or a rogue Starheart fragment for fun future plot potential but either way: Steph suddenly finds herself in Africa with Leslie and neither of them have any idea how this happened. Over the next few days they slowly feel a bunch of fake memories start to form in their heads of an alternate timeline where Leslie did manage to save Steph. They both know it's not what happened in this reality but in terms of an explanation it's the closest thing they've got so Steph just decides to roll with it to explain her sudden revival. What's the actual reason she came back to life? DC give me a batgirl Steph miniseries and I'll find an answer to that. But for now it's a mystery. Schrodingers resurrection, any theory a character has for how Steph came back is as reasonable as every other theory.
