I see everyone enjoys the idea of that one gay porn with all of the dead cowboys and, while that film is quite a thing to behold, it is not a nice watch. So I will recommend a nice watch.

The Drifter is from the same studio that made the dead cowboys porn and features a few of the same actors. Overcome with emotion after being betrayed by his boyfriend, Phillip angrily hikes into the B.C. wilderness, eventually becoming lost... and cold... and wet... and then he finds a cabin... and meets tough-guy Michael... and there's only one bed...

The story follows the change in their relationship over the next few days, and, honest to god, all of the sex scenes contribute to plot and/or character development. I'm not saying this is an actual film, but there are no anomalous outdoor shower scenes where a guy fucks a bottle of whiskey (which is an actual thing that happens in the dead cowboys porn). You'll wince at some of the acting, but, overall, you'll find it's a very nice story with a lot of hardcore gay fucking in it.

Also, the music is amazing. It's by Six Organs of Admittance and a few of the songs can be found here. Also, here is an interview in which Ben Chasny of the band explains his work on the project.

BC I wrote all of it before the film was shot. They wrote out descriptions of different scenes. They wanted solo acoustic guitar music.

RB Yeah, when I think of gay porn, acoustic guitar music is the first thing that comes to mind.

BC I just played what I thought would go along. I remember one particular sunny afternoon in San Francisco when I was lying on the bed trying to come up with stuff, I asked Elisa [Ambrogio], “Does this sound like two guys fucking?” She said yes. I’m not sure what that says about my general playing.

The Drifter won a few Grabby awards including best actor (Logan McCree, who also wrote the movie) and the gay porn equivalent of Best Picture, beating out the film everyone thought was going to win -- which was the dead cowboys porn.

The studio who made the movie offers clip$ from it. I am not certain if all of these snippets stuck together would make up the entire film or if they are only meant to feature the sex scenes. No DVD (digital or physical) can be purchased. As such, I pirated this (account required).
