To elaborate a bit, so Jaime Llyod I think wanted to create something modern, so he had his actors speak in a more contemporary london esque accent which isnt an inherently bad thing but I feel hiw jaime llyod wanted to his actors to deliver his lines was very monotonous of not slightly monotone and as result I felt it disrupted the rhythmic aspects of shakepeare. The use of microphones I think exacerbated things in the sense that it sounded like people were mumbling (mumble core) rather than clearly articulating the words. Now I think tom I think was the biggest victim in the sense b/c his romeo is more imposing so to speak he tends to act through his teeth so he gritting his teeth which is designed to indicate to the audience hes angry rather than just being angry. B/c hes clenching his teeth hes struggling imo to say some lines clearly.
I understand to an extent the use of whispering b/c it supposedly heightens the tension and in some scenes it works and think there is an element to romeo and juliet have secretive relationship, so he kinda wants to audience to operate with that space as if we are intruding on the characters personal space ( auditory voyeurism so to speak) but it doesnt work when its used for the full run time b/c I think it stifles any emotional depth or that emotional release so to speak. Whereas the other actors I think have better volume control I feel as if tom doesnt and just ops to fully to whisper into the microphone. The problem might also be the microphone b/c actors are so focused on projected into the microphone it feels disconnected to the audience
I juat think the decisons made between actor and director I think were kinda poor
side note: i hate single tear crying it feels genuinely inauthentic.
Sorry If im being confusing b/c Im still processing whether I hated the production or whether I missed the point thus invalidating my perspective or whether I liked what I saw but hated some choices.
Thanks, Anon!
Shakespeare mumble core😭
Idk I get you. I usually like some things and dislike others in about everything I see! I think it’s fair to critique choices around how the lines are delivered (sounds like a directorial choice) especially in Shakespeare where it’s so important for modern audiences to hear the early-modern verse clearly.
As for the single tear cry (lol): I don’t think that I could ever make myself cry on demand like actors do. I’m always genuinely impressed that they can get even that one tear!

one thing about me is that as a child, i loved jesus christ superstar and i would check out jesus christ superstar (1970) on vhs and watch it over and over again on the weekends and i had a copy of the soundtrack that i used as a clock (i divided my days into album sides of the jcs london production on vinyl)
anyway
through all this i developed a crush on 1970 Film Peter the Apostle and at some point, when i had access to the family computer, i decided to see what the actor who played peter was in
becuase he has a singing part in an andrew llyod weber film adaptation okay i kind of assumed he had other musicals going on (i was also a cats kid shush)
he does not. its all porn. its all pornos. this man did a singing part in Jesus Christ Superstar (1970) and then just....made so much porn.
and i have lived with this knowledge for so long and now, finally, it is relevant to that MASH porno. that particular porno is not on his wikipedia list but it is on his imdb and his name is in the opening credits
what a fucking triple threat tho. he can act, he can sing, and he can fuck

Good Morning Weirdos and Roxtars.
Today we are going to talk about the most famous ship in history. The Unsinkable, that sunk. The Titanic.

Different Rating of a Ship
While the admiralty classified the ships according to their size and number of cannons in rates. Starting in 1760 a group of men, begann to rate the ships in a different way. It was Llyods of London with its Register of Ships. It rates the overall quality of a vessel alphanumerically according to her seaworthiness. In the original list, which started 1764, ships were designated by the letters A, E, I, O, U, which referred to a vessel’s hulls, while the letters G, M, and B (good, middling, and bad ) rated the vessel’s equipment. A rating of AG denoted a first class ship with god outfitting, while UB described the lowest class of a ship with bad outfitting.
Today, yes the list still excists, letters denote the condition of the hull, while fittings (anchors, rigging and so on) are graded numerically.
As discribed in the Register : The character A denotes new ships or ships renewed or restored. The stores of vessels are designated by the figures 1 and 2; 1 signifying that the vessel is well and sufficiently found.
But why all this ? and did that also apply to warships ? The register served only to give merchants and insurers an idea of the condition of the ships they chartered or insured. It also gave them an insight into who the owner was or which company owned the ship. Warships were not rated, the Admiralty did not tolerate this, they alone were responsible for their ships.

Single ship stuck causing Suez Canal ‘traffic jam’ may cost $9.6 billion per day
So far the loss has been immense for the global trade. (Photo source: Reuters) The traffic-jam at the Suez Canal caused by a large cargo ship lodged in the waterway could be causing a loss of $9.6 billion per day, according to London based Llyod’s List — a shipping news journal. Lloyd’s List says that their ‘rough calculations’ suggest westbound traffic on the Suez Canal is worth around $5.1…

Lover Review (Long Post Warning)
Now that I’ve listened to the complete album six times today, I feel qualified enough to review it. Spoiler Alert: I FUCKING LOVE IT. 9.4/10
1. I Forgot That You Existed (10/10)
Favorite Lyric:
And I would've stuck around for ya Would've fought the whole town, so yeah Would've been right there, front row Even if nobody came to your show
Favorite Vocals: I’m obssesed with how she sings “ And I thought that it would kill me, but it didn't” in the last chorus. Love it so much 13/10
Overall Thoughts: I love this song. It’s catchy and was the one that was stuck in my head after finally going to bed at 2:30. I get excited every time i realize it’s coming back on next.
2. Cruel Summer (10/10)
Favorite Lyric: “I don’t wanna keep secrets just to keep you”
Favorite Vocals: When she shouts “he looks up grinning like a devil” is a religious experience. So into it.
Overall Thoughts: It’s fun and sounds very 1989.
3. Lover (10/10)
Favorite Lyric: “Have I known you 20 seconds or 20 years”
Favorite Vocals: “Swear to be over dramatic and true to my lover And you'll save all your dirtiest jokes for me” my favorite lines to hear and sing.
Overall Thoughts: gorgeous song. If I ever get married I would play this at my wedding. very romantic
4. The Man (10/10)
Favorite Lyric:
“They'd say I hustled, put in the work They wouldn’t shake their heads and question how much of this I deserve” (YOU DESERVE ALL OF THIS TAYLOR ilysm)
Favorite Vocals:
“What's it like to brag about raking in dollars And getting bitches and models? And it's all good if you're bad And it's okay if you're mad If I was out flashing my dollars I'd be a bitch, not a baller”
Overall Thoughts: I was kinda worried about this song before hearing it but I’m obsessed. Beat: amazing. Lyrics: fantastic and so truthful. vocals: fabulous.
5. The Archer (8/10)
Favorite Lyric:
“All the king's horses, all the king's men Couldn't put me together again 'Cause all of my enemies started out friends”
Favorite Vocals: “I say I don’t want that but what if I do”
Overall Thoughts: it’s pretty. I love synth pop so i’m very into the sound of it. It doesn’t strike me as a true track five though. Not enough of a story for me. All too Well was so descriptive and had such raw emotion that you can just feel listening to it. This definitely has the emotion but lacks to the description to really transport me somewhere.
6. I Think He Knows (10/10)
Favorite Lyric: “I am an architect, I'm drawing up the plans”
Favorite Vocals:
“Lyrical smile, indigo eyes, hand on my thigh We could follow the sparks, I'll drive ‘So where we gonna go?’ I whisper in the dark”
Overall Thoughts: This is the other song that was stuck in my head from my first 2 listens. Dress was a sultry “sexy” song and this is playful af. Definitely gonna be dancing to this in my kitchen until to the end of time.
7. Miss America & The Heartbreak Prince (10/10)
Favorite Lyrics:
“ You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes”
American stories burning before me I'm feeling helpless, the damsels are depressed Boys will be boys then, where are the wise men? Darling, I'm scared (Ah)
Favorite Vocals:
It's you and me, that's my whole world They whisper in the hallway, "She's a bad, bad girl"
and when she sings
“just thought you should know”
Overall Thoughts: WOW. this song is fantastic and every time i listen I find something else I love about it. also same to “darling I’m scared” because America is terrifying right now. The lyrics and vocals are both so strong. this song also reminds me of another song but i can’t put my finger on it yet. at first I thought it was a little gwen stefani(hollaback girl) and then i was thinking cher llyod and then i was like maybe it’s pink(the Truth About Love)? Still can’t think of the song it makes me think of but I’ll figure it out sometime.
8. Paper Rings 30/10 Just kidding that would throw off my scoring but (10/10)
Favorite Lyric: “ I hate accidents except when we went from friends to this”
Favorite Vocals: “ In paper rings in picture frames in dirty dreams”
Overall Thoughts: I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this song. I’ve listened to it 6 times and cried 3 out of the six. This song is so reminiscent of the fearless era to me that it just reminds me of being 15. I feel like I’m 15 again listening to this. it’s like I’m transported back before all the bad shit in my life really started to happen. Then it makes me think about all the teens who are 15 now and getting to experience this song and this feeling and then i cry for 10 minutes lol. I cried typing this.
9. Cornelia Street (10/10)
Favorite Lyric: “We bless the rains on Cornelia Street”
Favorite Vocals:
I hope I never lose you, hope it never ends I'd never walk Cornelia Street again
Overall Thoughts: I was so happy to hear this song! this is the RED type of soundtrack that I spent months wishing for. (im very happy with what we got but red is my favorite album in existence so i’m hoping for more of that some day.) It gives me major RED vibes and reminds me of starlight a little bit. I love the imagery as well. I’ve never been to Cornelia St but i can picture it. I’m transported. MORE OF THIS PLEASE.
10. Death By a Thousand Cuts (10/10)
Favorite Lyric:
“I look through the windows of this love Even though we boarded them up”
Favorite Vocals:
“My heart, my hips, my body, my love Tryna find a part of me that you didn't touch”
“Our songs, our films, united we stand Our country, guess it was a lawless land”
Overall Thoughts: I loved it from the first time I heard it and I really love the arrangement of this song. I also just found a quote saying that she wrote it about Someone Great and that makes me love it even more because I’m totally obsessed with that movie. Whenever I have a conversation about Tv with someone, I’m alway like “HAVE YOU WATCHED SOMEONE GREAT????? Why not?/? What are you doing with your life because it’s perfect.” This song is also perfect.
11. London Boy (10/10)
Favorite Lyric:
“They say home is where the heart is But that's not where mine lives”
Favorite Vocals: “ Just wanna be with you Wanna be with you”
Overall Thoughts: This sweet. I know nothing about London geography but I’m rooting for Taylor and her London Boy. Their relationship is adorable and I’m glad they’re happy! This song is gonna be really fun at tour.
12. Soon You’ll Get Better (Featuring the Dixie Chicks) (10/10)
Favorite Heartbreaking Lyric:
“And I hate to make this all about me But who am I supposed to talk to? What am I supposed to do If there's no you?”
Favorite Melody:
“I'll paint the kitchen neon, I'll brighten up the sky I know I'll never get it, there's not a day that I won't try”
Overall Thoughts: so many emotions. When we got the Dixie Chicks easter egg, it was the song i was most excited for... until I realized that the song they would be featured on was this one. I was expecting Goodbye Earl and I got Traveling Soilder. OUCH. This breaks my heart and I really hope that Andrea does get better. losing someone is terrible and I’m praying it’s something Taylor and her family don’t have to experience for many many many years. I’m not religious but praying for you.
13. False God (4/10) oww sorry
Favorite Lyric: ?IAMCONFUSION.
Favorite Vocals: the whole thing sounds great.
Overall Thoughts: I don’t really like this song? it’s just kinda meh. it feels jarring to hear after Soon You’ll Get Better and I DON’T GET IT? like it makes me feel dumb. I’ve listened to it 6 times and still don’t know. When I heard it the second time I was like Oh I Forgot That You Existed. Then I was just confused. What is the false god... is it her.. is it new york city, is the love? I don’t know. Why is she singing from the point of view of the city? This song stresses me out which is a really bummer because I love how the vocals sound but then i listen to the lyrics and get frustrated. Also the only song I wanted to skip all six times. I think part of it is just placement though. after soon you’ll get better i’m not in the mood for this especially when I know there are better songs coming up and I want to hear them now. Someone explain this to me if you get it because i’m lost.
14. You Need to Calm Down (10/10)
Favorite Lyric:
“Say it in the street, that's a knock-out But you say it in a Tweet, that's a cop-out”
Favorite Vocals: “Why are you mad when you could be GLAAD? (You could be GLAAD)”
Overall Thoughts: Love it. Such a jam. Loved the music video.
15. Afterglow (10/10)
Favorite Lyric: “Meet me in the afterglow”
Favorite Vocals:
“This ultraviolet morning light below Tells me this love is worth the fight, oh”
Overall Thoughts: I love this. One of my favorites on the album. It’s like a more pop sounding Back to December with a possibility of a positive outcome. Back to December was like i’m sorry i wish i could take it back and this is like I’m sorry can we fix this and meet in the afterglow! Meeting in the afterglow sounds so poetic and light. It brings imagery and peace to my mind and I’m all about it.
16. ME! (Featuring Brendon Urie) (9/10)
Favorite Lyric: “Livin' in winter, I am your summer”
Favorite Vocals:
“I know that I went psycho on the phone I never leave well enough alone And trouble's gonna follow where I go”
Overall Thoughts: I liked Spelling Is FUN. fight me. still gonna yell it at tour. I would have liked a little more complexity in the lyrics though... while keeping spelling is fun.
17. It’s Nice To Have a Friend (9/10)
Favorite Lyric:
“Light pink sky, up on the roof Sun sinks down, no curfew”
Favorite Vocals: the whole song is my favorite vocal because it’s amazing and it sounds great. (I said this like how craig from parks and rec said this is my friend madison she amazing and SHE DROVE ME HERE. it’s very important that you read it like that because that’s how I meant it. IT’S GREAT)
Overall Thoughts: Apparently every one at secret sessions didn’t like this song but I love it. Also saw a couple people describe it as creepy sounding which WHAT? are we listening to the same song??? I think it sounds romantic and gives me the imagery I want. I can picture this love. it’s innocent and wonderful. Very light and very airy sounding. Kinda gives me a Marina vibe which I love. Only complaint is I wish it were longer.
18. Daylight (10/10)
Favorite Lyric:
“I wounded the good and I trusted the wicked Clearing the air, I breathed in the smoke”
Favorite Vocals: I’m living for the entire bridge.
Overall Thoughts: YES YES YES. This should have been track 5 but I also understand having it at the end as a valid choice as well. ALSO SHE MENTIONED RED. okay je suis calme but this song is beautiful and i’m just so happy and so proud of you Taylor. I cried at the end. “You are what you love” I have loved her music since I was 12 and now at 25 it still means so much to me. it’s been a vital part of my life and honestly the only reason i’m alive right now. Thank you.
OVERALL THOUGHTS: if you’re still reading by now bless you because I’m rambling. I truly love this Album. it’s got some solid bops and some beautiful poetic songs. I think my favorite songs so far are
I Forgot that you existed #1BOP
Paper Rings #1emotioninvoking
Daylight #1lyrics
170 out 180 which means that this album is a 9.4 in my opinion!!!!
Taylor if you read this, I love you. Your music means so much to me. It’s gotten me through so much. I really hope your Mom does get better. ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
#taylor swift#lover#lover review#taylor nation#daylight#swiftie#tswizzle#sorry for any typos#lover is amazing#and im living for it#i legit left work early so i could come home and listen to it#which was kinda dumb because my car is falling apart and im broke#but i feel like it was a good decision and im happy with it

LND: I almost forget how much I hate the plot.
Wow I almost forget how sexist is the whole plot of Love Never Dies because I only listen the songs that I like without care about the plot. The whole romance between the Phantom and Christine, is not only abusive and toxic, but the writers left Christine without tell or singer how she felt in the show because this will had destroyed the fabricated romance.
In “Devil Take the Hindmost”, Phantom and Raoul treat Christine (and Gustave) like object that belong to them or not, she must “choice” between them, ignoring that they already take the choice for her: Christine in the original London plot and less abusive that Australian version, wants sings because she loves the music; but don’t wanted stay with the Phantom, this is cleary and “Phantom Confronts Christine”, she say “and then we go”. Phantom, showing that don’t learn nothing with the original, is manipulative and possessive again, invented that if she sings meaning that she loves him. Of course that Christine don’t give up of the perfomance, and that is supposed to “prove” that she loves the Phantom and not that she is being manipulated for him again?
That’s why she is upset with the Raoul letter in “Ah Christine!”, they are a family with problem but they cleary still love each other. ALW and Ben Elton know this, that’s why they go quickly to “Gustave! Gustave!”. The show ends and we don’t know how Christine felt, the reprise of Once Upon Another Time is so ridiculous because made this about the Phantom... again, is her death but is not really about her, is about giving this jerk man a award, and a bittersweet end to the melodrama.
“Love Never Dies” was written by the Phantom like something that he wishes ear from her, because if Christine tell what she felt for her own words, this garbage plot, collapses. This only shows how fragile is the plot of LND. I love Erik, like the great character that he is in Leroux's book and in the Webber first musical, Love Never Dies destroyed his redemption. At least gived us the best Llyod Webber score since Whistle Down the Wind? Ah Webber, don't could be for a better plot?

Favourable Hotels in Rochester for business travellers
A lot of folks travel to London for business because the city is a financial hub. Many big names in business have their headquarters in London such as HSBC, Royal Dutch Shell, BP, Barclays, Llyod TSB Group, GlaxoSmithKline, Aviva, and Unilever.
When you are travelling for business, you will have specific requirements during your stay. Some of these, you would be willing to overlook if you were a tourist. However, if you are very particular about the amenities, you need not worry.
Popular amongst tourists and business travellers, there are hundreds of hotels and conference venues in London.
Here are some tips on how to look for a better hotel for business in London.
1. Cleanliness
While Covid-19 is an epidemic and the numbers have gone down significantly, London still sees almost 3000 daily active cases. Before you book your hotel, definitely check out the reviews and what people are saying about the hygiene standards of the accommodation. You do not want to fall sick during an important business meeting, nor do you want to infect someone else. Conference venues in London by Blue Orchid still follow social distancing protocols and ensure that the guests are safely placed at a distance from one another. Prevention is better than cure!
2. Noise
London is a loud city. While it is endearing during the day, the constant noise coming from traffic is not appreciated. Especially if you are jet lagged after a long trip.
The Rochester Hotel London is a quiet haven located in the tranquil St. Vincent Square. 76 intimate rooms surrounded by private gardens, you will be able to unwind after a long day of business meetings in your room. To make your stay more comfortable, the rooms are equipped with private balconies (subject to availability), 24/7 room service, LCD TV with international channels, a complimentary tea /coffee making station, and a marble ensuite with high-end bath products.
3. Restaurants
While London does have a variety of cuisines being cooked up in its streets, travelling for business does not provide you with a lot of time to go exploring these eateries.
Westminster abbey hotels like the Wellington has its own restaurant, the Wellington restaurant, that serves traditional English breakfast as well as cuisines from around the world. An onsite bar career for your alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage needs. More than that, the Wellington restaurant also offers Al Fresco dining.
4. Location
Location is an important factor whether you are travelling for leisure or business. Being connected to the city is important as it allows a lot of places to be easily accessible at a budget-friendly rate. Cabs, buses and tubes can take you anywhere you want.
One of the best-located hotels in the city is Tower Suites. A 5-star hotel which is minutes away from the Shard, Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the River Thames. One cannot argue with its unique positioning and the luxurious stay it offers.
Favourable Hotels in Rochester for business travellers
If you are strictly looking for accommodation in Rochester, Blue Orchid hotels have two properties that can cater to your every need.
The Rochester
The Rochester Hotel London has 76 elegant rooms that exude traditional English charm and is surrounded by greenery that can refresh you from inside and out. The hotel also provides a venue for conferences and outdoor events.
And if you get the opportunity to explore a few things in London, you can walk to two of the most iconic locations in the city, Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey.
The Wellington
84 beautifully appointed rooms with traditional English decor, the Wellington by Blue Orchid is one of the best Westminster abbey hotels. With its unique location in St. Vincent Square, the hotel has a bar, a restaurant with al fresco dining and a gymnasium. The hotel also has private gardens and balconies in rooms (subject to availability).
The rooms at the hotel come with a tea/ coffee making station, a marble ensuite, a high-speed internet connection, a washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board, a kitchenette, and 24/7 room service.

The movie Cats deserves more credit than it gets and here's why
I just watched Cats. I was quite nervous because the musical is quite good. The movie got a lot of negative reviews. I'm not gonna lie, I understand the criticism. There are a lot of things that are odd or that could've been done better. But the movie wasn't as bad as I thought. I could name plenty of aspects that could've been better, but that's already all over the internet. Today I want to focus on the things that are actually good because the movie isn't all that bad. Yeah, it probably isn't as good as it could've been, but there are some things that are great. Those things deserve a bit more credit. I think it's time to focus on that. So I'm not going to talk about the cockroach scene or the visuals or any other negative aspect. Today I will be talking about the things I genuinely like about this movie.
- First of all the vocals were great. There are a lot of singers in this movie and they definitely show that they can sing in this movie. Especially Jennifer Huson is incredible. But even the non-singers surprised me. Ian Mckallen and Judy Dench can sing. Who knew?
- The New song was quite good. The song was written by Taylor Swift. It fits the storyline and the other songs.
- The choreography was great. The musical is famous for its choreo. The choreo didn't disappoint me. The tap scène in the Railway Cat was brilliant. Andy Blankenbueler already proved on Broadway (Hamilton, Bandstand) that he can choreograph and the movie really shows that. The choreography is probably the biggest asset of this movie.
- The visuals got a lot of criticism. I get it, but there was one thing I did love about the visuals: the moving tails. That's as positive as I can get - about the Visual aspect of this movie.
- The movie had comical scenes and lines every now and then. And no, I'm not talking about the cringe Moments. Some scenes actually had a lot of humor.
- I love the London setting. Andrew Llyod Webber is Britsh. It totally makes sense.
- Don't forget the cast. Jury Dench, Ian McKellen, Taylor Swift, Jason Derulo... The list goes on and on. I can't say a bad word about the cast. They were great. (It's also not their fault that they looked quite weird in this movie. I think they did the best they could. There was nothing wrong with the acting if you ask me.)

The whole day long, she red. Just as Sherlock entered the flat in the evening, she stopped. „Is it already that late?“ she asked. The man looked at her, confused as he hang up his coat and signature hat. „Yes, my Dear. What were you doing the whole day?“ he asked curious and sat beside her ,on the couch. She held up Johns book. „Just reading“ her big smile grew bigger, when Sherlock rolled his eyes. „He isn‘t the best with names, really.“ her laughed echoed in the walls of baker street and Sherlock smiled a little. „Are you hungry?“ he than asked out of the blue. Surprised by it, (Y/N) nodded. „Yes. I didn‘t eat much today.“ The man got up and took her hand in his. „Would the Mademoiselle give me the honor, to accompany me to dinner?“ he asked, like he did back in Paris, at the Masquerade. Smiling at the memory, (Y/N) held Sherlocks hand tight. She answered „There speaks a true British Gentleman.” And Sherlock gave her one of his rare real smiles and let her down on the streets of London. Both of them walked along side one another and looked at the darkening sky above. They arrived at a fancy looking Restaurant and the people that worked there greeted both of the new visitors, with a smile. A young man, with brown hair and light beard, led them to a table near a window that showed the nightly sky of London City.
Both ordered their food and the waiter took of to tell the cook. (Y/N) looked around the place a little. „It reminds me of Paris.“ She said, lowly only for Sherlock to hear and he looked into her eyes. „That‘s why I brought you here. I know you miss Paris.“ (Y/N) smiled at him and took his hand. „Thank you.“ He shook his head. „Don‘t thank me. I should thank you.“ She raised an eyebrow silently asking what he meant. „(Y/N). You are the only one in this world, who made me feel... things. Things, I thought, weren‘t possible for me to feel.“ The Woman smiled at him. „Your welcome.“ But Sherlock spoke up quickly. „Just don‘t tell Mycroft I said that. He would tease me till his death.“ She laughed at that and nodded. The food arrived after a few more minutes and both ate quietly, in an comfortable way. It was a nice night, (Y/N) had to admit and Sherlock was sure, it would get even better when they finished. When both of them finished and the waiter cleaned up, Sherlock nodded at him and the young man vanished, but came up quick, with a Violin in hand. (Y/N) was confused beyond anything. What has this man in mind this time? , she asked herself. Spoken man, stood up and took the Violin from the waiter. Sherlock looked into her (Y/E/C) eyes and took a deep breath. „I wrote you something, in hope that you may could feel more of Paris again.“ And this, made the Woman smile a big smile. With no hesitation, he started to play the violin. A beautiful tune sounded through the whole room and everyone in the Restaurant stopped and listened. Much to Sherlocks surprise (Y/N) started to sing in her melodic voice. Say you'll love me every waking moment Turn my head with talk of summer time Say you need me with you now and always Promise me that all you say is true That's all I ask of you They locked eyes as they played their perfect duet, together. Warmth and happiness filled Sherlocks chest as he watched (Y/N) sing along to his music. Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime Say the word and I will follow you But the song had to come to an end someway or another and as the last tune of the violin sounded, they both sang together. Love me, that's all I ask of you The crowd, that now surrounded them, clapped and applaud both, for the great show. And than, something no one ever expected, happened. Sherlock got on one knee, right in front of (Y/N). She gasped and everyone around them got quite again. He took a little velvet box out of his coat and opened it, just to show a beautiful diamond ring. „(Y/N) (Y/L/N). You are the Woman, that melted my cold heart and showed me that I‘m truly capable of feeling love. To show you that I mean it, I will now ask you if you want to marry me?“ Anybody looked to (Y/N), who held a hand around her mouth. Tears streamed down her face and she nodded, not daring to speak. Sherlock smiled and put the ring on her finger and than twirled her around.
She kissed him with much love and everyone clapped their hands again, celebrating the new engaged couple. „Who would have thought that Mrs. Hudsons question could be a serious one for now.“ Sherlock said and (Y/N) laughed at that. That's when (Y/N) knew, she was home again. Together with a man who truly loved her.
A few weeks past after that fateful evening and now everyone was seated in the living room, discussing some preparations for the upcoming wedding. „It should be a small one. It is enough that whole England knows that we‘re getting married.“ Sherlock said and (Y/N) nodded. „That‘s a beginning“ Mary said. „And who do you want to invite?“ She than asked. Mary was a great help since she is a married woman, she knows what a wedding needed. „Not Mycroft.“ Sherlock instantly said, with a frown on his face and (Y/N) punched him in the shoulder. „He is your brother!“ she said. He than just shrugged. Mary laughed a little. „Alright he is on the list, don‘t worry (Y/N).“ The dark haired man growled. John came in, with a little bundle. All three in the living room looked up. „She‘s asleep. Finally.“ he said. Mary smiled. „She is restless like her Mother.“ (Y/N) laughed and said „Ereena told you, you would be a great Father.“ He only rolled his eyes and laid little Rosie down in a soft crib they had brought for her, so when John and Mary wanted alone time, that Rosie could stay with her Uncle Sherlock and Aunt (Y/N). The whole preparations went quite smoothly and everything was settled, the only thing that was missing was a dress for (Y/N). „So tomorrow morning, we meet up here?“ Mary asked as she was ready to leave with John and Rosie. (Y/N) nodded „Of course. See you tomorrow.“ With that the three Watsons left. The evening went uneventful till the next morning, when (Y/N) got up early so she wouldn‘t miss Mary. It was the beginning of June and still the morning air was fresh, but the sun burned high in the sky when (Y/N) left the flat, in hopes Sherlock wouldn‘t blow up anything with his experiments, again. When the young woman walked down the streets, she could make out Mary from afar. They greeted each other and then went to look for a dress. Both Women laughed and talked much the whole way to a store, where one of Marys friends worked. „So here we are. Elizabeth is a nice person and she has good taste, too so we should find a dress quick.“ With that they both went into the store, that was stuck to the ceiling with hundreds of fabrics in different shapes and colors.
A Woman with dark blond hair, came into view and her brown warm eyes bored into both the Women that entered. „Mary“ she said and hugged the blond woman, than she looked at you. „And you must be (Y/N). Great to meet you. My Father is a big fan of you.“ (Y/N) was a bit surprised, but smiled. „Good to know.“ „I‘m Elizabeth by the way. Elizabeth Weber.“ They shook hands and than an older man, probably Elizabeths father, came in. „Is it her?“ he asked excited. Elizabeth smiled and said „Yes, it is her Father.“ and the old man approached the three women. „Good day, Ladies. I‘m Andrew. Andrew L. Weber.“ he also shook hands with the ladies. „So (Y/N)“ he looked at the (Y/H/C) girl with curious blue eyes. „You‘re still an Opera Singer?“ She answered „I hadn't found anything fitting right know, but I want to keep it up. Yes.“ Elizabeth got in between her father and (Y/N) „Father can it wait til I‘m done. Please?“ she asked politely. Her Father laughed and nodded. „Of course, go on my dear.“ he than got in the back. Elizabeth turned to her friends. „I‘m sorry but since he read Dr. Watsons new book he tries to write an Opera about it.“ Both Mary and (Y/N) were surprised to hear that, but they had more important things to do. It took longer than expected. It was hard to find the right fabric for the dress, that had the right color (Y/N) had in mind. But in the end, all three managed to find the perfect fabric and Elizabeth got to work to sew the perfect wedding dress for (Y/N). While she started to make the dress, her father appeared again and offered the women tea, which they all accepted. Andrew spoke up the topic from before. „As my daughter already said, I‘m writing on a Opera based on this marvelous adventure you took part in, back in Paris. And I hoped, now that you‘re in London, you may want to play the female lead role? I know a fantastic Opera House that would love to show the Opera.“ he explained while he sipped on his Earl Grey. Mary spoke up „But Mr. Weber, I thought you gave up on wiring Operas.“ Andrew gave a big smile and Elizabeth smiled, too. „And he did, but thanks to your so beloved Husband, Mary, my Father had to start again.“ (Y/N) thought a long while. „Well, to be honest I‘m a little scared.“ Andrew waved his hand a little. „Don‘t worry, Dear. I changed it up a little and the names are completely different. You can read what I already have and than you can decide.“ The Woman nodded her head and the old man got up, just to come back a few minutes later, with some papers in hand. (Y/N) took them and Mary leaned over to her and both read the written down words, that should be a part of the Opera. When they finished, (Y/N) returned the papers to Andrew. „It‘s really good. And I think I would love to play the part of Christine Daae.“ Andrew smiled bigger than before and thanked her a thousand times over and over again.
After the little encounter, Elizabeth told the women, the dress should be ready in a week and they could pick it up by then. So Mary and (Y/N) said good bye to the Webers and left the store. Mary was totally in for the Opera. „This will be so good. You have to reserve some tickets for me and John.“ (Y/N) laughed at her enthusiasms and both walked down the streets of London, back to 221b Baker Street.
