Just to add! The reason they call her Liuniang is that she’s the 6th child in the family. 'Liu (六)' means six, and 'niang (娘)' means girl in this context. They address her older sisters as Sanniang and Siniang, with 'san' meaning three and 'si' meaning four. It's very common in Chinese to address people this way if they have siblings, like a nickname.
Why does liuniang have two names what's her name? Yan xing and that are so different
Ahhhh, I'm not exactly sure, but I think it's because of given name vs courtesy name. Given name, the one your family gave you (and usually just very close friends or significant others can call you). Courtesy name is a formal name, kind of like an "adult" name that people who aren't your family can address you.
I might be wrong though so if anyone thinks there's a different reason for her two names, let me know!!

I am Sun Sanniang first and Fu Zifang's mother second...I do not need your permission. Did you forget? Your father divorced me long ago. Nobody in this world have the right to control my marriage, even if you're my son, you do not have the power...I finally understand now, a mother could be kind, but the son may not be filial...If I want the phoenix coronet and official robe, I will earn it myself I will not rely on you.

My kingdom for the Yunmeng culture/fix it fic where it's realised Jiang Fengmian cannot burn both ends of the candle doing double duty and someone sends for Wei Changse. Cause if we're breaking tradition with no Jiang-furen doing her bit we'll break tradition here too (argue concerned fellow sect members). Featuring smol WWX and Yu-furen having to deal with that jealousy issue of hers.
Jiang Fengmian doesn't know what he was thinking when he wrote that letter.
In fact, he doesn't know if he was thinking at all.
All he does know is that A-Li had a cough again last week, and he sat by her bedside all night because he still hasn't forgotten what ordinary colds did to her when she was just a little younger. He knows that he didn't sleep last night either, because he's been taking audiences for two or three days straight, and night-hunting on all of those days save for one.
In short he was exhausted, so much so that he could barely put one foot in front of another by morning, and at some point he must have written (or pleaded, rather, though who knew how it came across in ink and paper) to his ex-right hand, Wei Changze, and begged him to come home.
I can't do this, he thought: although hopefully, he didn't actually put that down in writing. Changze, please. Come back.
“You look terrible,” his friend frowns now. He rode into Lufeng out of nowhere this morning, astride a great black horse with Cangse and A-Ying clinging to his waist, and Jiang Fengmian was so surprised to see them all that he dropped his sword into a puddle. “A-Xiao, what have you been doing to yourself?”
“I’ve been wasting away because my brother-in-arms gets to run wild over the jianghu, while I have to stay here and be responsible,” Jiang Fengmian laughs. “Don’t worry about the letter, A-Li was sick and I was worried. How long will you and Cangse be staying?”
Liu Cangse stares down at him, her eyes flickering up and down his pathetic figure like a vulture scrutinizing a carcass.
“We’re back to stay,” she says at last, throwing out one careless arm to keep Wei Ying from falling off the horse. “Are Changze’s rooms still empty, or should we go find lodgings in town?”
Wei Changze’s rooms are still empty, but Jiang Fengmian added a desk and a few cabinets and turned it into a study to keep it from being repurposed after his friends’ wedding. He says as much to Cangse, who declares that a bed big enough for two and a basket to lay little A-Ying in is good enough for her.
“We sleep under the stars, most nights,” she tells him. “A-Xiao, even a roof over our heads is better than we usually have.”
“Then those quarters are yours,” Jiang Fengmian exhales, trying not to dread the confrontation ahead of him.
He dreads it all the same.
______
Yu Ziyuan is thirty-six years old, and she has never been as angry as she is at this very moment.
That woman is back.
Cangse Sanren, her husband’s first love. The only woman he has ever had feelings for, here to stay with Wei Changze.
Yu Ziyuan is so angry that she could draw her sword and challenge the wretch here and now. To think that Liu Cangse believed she could come slinking back here, years after she made it clear that she had no feelings for Jiang Fengmian--has she no womanly shame at all?!
“What do you think you’re doing?” she demands, when he passes her on the bridge between his study and the children’s lesson room. “Have you finally lost all shame, then? You’ve decided to bring her into the house, and make sheep’s eyes at her in person instead of pining after her?”
“She does not come or go at my command,” Jiang Fengmian replies. “I wrote to Wei Changze and asked him to come back, and of course his wife came with him.”
“You--”
“I am the master of Yunmeng Jiang. The deputies and retainers in this house are my concern, and no other’s,” he interrupts. “And the families they bring with them are no concern of mine, as long as they agree to abide by the sect laws. Excuse me, San-niang.”
He bustles off, vanishing around the corner with his head held high, and refuses to look back no matter how loudly she shouts at him.
If it were Liu Cangse--if she told him not to bring another woman into their home, then Fengmian would have listened to her.
Ziyuan grips a nearby post to steady herself, and blots her angry tears on a corner of her sleeve.
It will not do to look out of sorts before that woman. From what little Yu Ziyuan has seen since her return, living in the wild has taken none of Cangse Sanren's beauty; her face still glows like a lotus in full bloom, its radiance undimmed beneath her grey weimao, and Ziyuan could not hope to rival her even when she was at her handsomest.
For some reason, it occurs to her that while motherhood did diminish her once-famous good looks, Fengmian looks like an absolute death’s head compared to the man she married.
He spent the last decade yearning for his faithless shidi’s wife, though he had a perfectly good wife of his own, and she is suddenly--spitefully--glad that his misery is all he has to show for it.

Meng Hua Lu starring Liu Yifei and Chen Xiao
Zhao Pan Er, who opened a tea shop in Hangzhou, finally received the good news that her fiance Ouyang Xu was in Beijing High School, but was abandoned. Unwilling to accept her fate, she vowed to go to Beijing to seek justice. On the way to Beijing, she had to rush to rescue her good sister, Song Yin Zhang, who was cheated on marriage and was abused. At the same time, she also saved Sun San Niang, who had unfortunately tried to commit suicide because of her married life. When Ouyang Xu learned that Zhao Pan Er had come to the capital and came to the door, he managed to drive her out of Bianjing. Zhao Pan Er, Song Yin Zhang, and Sun San Niang decided to stay in Bianjing, relying on their own ability to make a fortune. After experiencing difficulties and various tribulations, the three sisters finally managed the small teahouse into the largest restaurant in Bianjing. After an arduous struggle, Zhao Pan Er saw more scenery, and also solved the obsession with hating Ouyang Xu, and at the same time opened a door of equal salvation for the humble women in ancient times.
