The whooooole Dreepy line, all three of them, for reasons I’ve already talked about in other asks, haha. Basically, everything about them appeals to me, from how wonderful their ‘Dex entries are, to their design, to their typing, to their everything. The Dreepy line is amazing and you have no idea how mad I am that it has been a YEAR and there is still not a SINGLE PIECE of Dreepy family merchandise in the US PokéCenter.

I am personally of the opinion that Charizard should count since Charizard can be a dragon-type if Mega Evolved into ‘Zard X. However, if ‘Zard X does not count, then Reshiram. Reshiram is one of my favorite legendaries overall, both because of its typing (which you’ll notice is the same as ‘Zard X), but also because I love that it’s the Truth Dragon. I just really love that.

I mean . . . have you seen Dreepy? Come on, fam . . . the other day I was playing Shield and someone used Taunt on my Dreepy and he gave this angry little roar but he’s so little and his voice is so squeaky and I just died. He’s even cute when he’s angery!!

I actually have a three-way tie of pokémon that I need to drag for this one because I cannot decide on just one.

First of all, Draglage. I just . . . okay, I get that the idea here is that it was a deceptive dragon, as many deep sea creatures are, but I just . . . cannot take it seriously . . . at all. It looks like some kind of misshapen, rotting twig. Which, again, I get is part of the subterfuge (it’s actually supposed to look like kelp), but that doesn’t stop it from looking really stupid. It literally looks like twisted, molding driftwood that you toss into a bonfire. Just . . . why.

Second, Palkia. Palkia’s design has literally never appealed to me. There is honestly nothing about it that I like. I hate its shape, I hate its patterns, it doesn’t even look remotely like a dragon . . . but I think the biggest offense here is that its shiny form is pink. Which, I know that it’s the mascot of Pearl Version and that Pearl Version had pink as its color, but listen . . . look at shiny Palkia and tell me that its neck and head don’t look like a penis when they’re pink. Like it’s not exact, but it’s . . . it’s there, and I don’t like it. I just don’t like the penis-head legendary.

Finally, Goodra. I know, gasps of horror, but listen: this is a dragon that is literally covered in and dripping with snot. I thought Goodra was cute at first glance! And then I realized that it’s dripping with snot. It’s a booger dragon. That’s disgusting. Everything else about Goodra is adorable, from its sweet face to its big belly, to its ‘Dex descriptions making it sound like a complete woobie. (Like, it cries if it’s left alone, that’s heartbreaking.) But I cannot get over the fact that Game Freak decided, “You know what would be cool? Let’s take a cute dragon and cover it with snot” and thought that was a good idea. And I know, the ‘Dex entries just call it a “slime,” but you look at it and tell me what it looks like to you. It’s snot. Those are boogers. It has boogers dripping off its chin. I cannot get over how disgusting that is and so I will never be able to like Goodra despite really, really wanting to because of how cute the rest of the design is. I can’t believe Game Freak ruined a perfectly good design like this. They should be ashamed of themselves.
