❝ Na última noite, Michael novamente me convidou para seu quarto. Quando cheguei, ele disse: "Não olhe para mim, estou muito nervoso. Quero te dizer algo," e então ele apagou as luzes.

   E no escuro, Michael disse: "Eu não sei se você notou, mas estou completamente apaixonado por você. Quero que nos casemos e que você tenha meus filhos." Então ele tocou uma música sobre o que sentia, e quando terminou, disse: "Você não precisa dizer nada. Eu sei que te peguei de surpresa, mas eu realmente te quero. Eu quero ficar com você."

   Eu não disse nada imediatamente, mas eventualmente falei: "Estou tão lisonjeada que nem consigo falar." Nessa altura, eu já sentia que estava apaixonada por ele também. Eu tinha contado a ele que meu casamento estava em sérios problemas.

   Eu estava guardando tudo para mim, então quando voltei para o meu quarto no Mirage, eu desmoronei completamente. Lembro-me de entrar no closet, encostar na parede e simplesmente cair, olhando para o nada. Eu estava tão apaixonada, tão abalada… Meu Deus do céu, o que acabou de acontecer?

   Eu não queria contar a ele que sentia o mesmo porque estava com meus dois filhos, e primeiro precisava voltar para casa e contar ao meu marido. Mas eu também estava completamente apaixonada.

   Na manhã seguinte, Michael e eu voamos de volta para Los Angeles juntos em um jato particular. Quando pousamos, Michael disse: "Vou sentir sua falta." E então ele disse que deixaria a decisão para mim, o que quer que eu decidisse fazer, e que ele me ligaria.

   Quando cheguei em casa, Danny estava na cama, dormindo. Eu estava toda arrumada. Toda vez que eu via Michael, meu cabelo estava feito, eu vestia uma roupa bonita, minhas unhas estavam feitas — tudo estava perfeito. ❞

I was shocked to read of Lisa Marie Presley's sudden death this week. I have always loved Elvis, the myth and legend of his life, the perfectly preserved Graceland. ✨ 🌹Rest in Peace Lisa Marie🌹 ~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~ January 12, 2023 Lisa Marie Presley died at age 54. February 1, 1968 - January 12, 2023. Lisa Marie is the only child of Elvis Presley. On Thursday morning, Lisa was rushed to the hospital for a possible cardiac arrest after being found by her housekeeper unresponsive earlier today. Her ex-husband who lives with her, performed CPR while they waited for paramedics to arrive. Lisa Marie was in full cardiac arrest and was administered at least one dose of epinephrine to achieve a pulse. She was transported to the hospital where she was placed in the intensive care unit, she was on life support in a medically induced coma. Lisa's mother, Priscilla Presley and daughter Riley Keough were at her side.
