While I was off all day, I went and watched The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes in theatres, I'm giving this at 10/10. Based on the novel, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, and a prequel to The Hunger Games trilogy, and uses material from the novel, and taking place 64 years before The Hunger Games films, and I've seen all of the films based on the novel in theatres back in the 2010s era.

I even liked Lucy's cover of "The Hanging Tree", originally performed by Jennifer Lawrence (who played Katniss Everdeen in the 3 movies) from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.

‘John Wick’ spinoff film around Donnie Yen‘s blind assassin Caine is in the works at Lionsgate.

There are no other details yet, but the spinoff will “continue Yen’s story arc following the events of ‘John Wick: Chapter 4,’ as Caine has been freed from his obligations to the High Table,” according to Lionsgate.

Robert Askins, who’s written for Netflix’s “The Umbrella Academy,” AMC’s “The Son” and received a 2015 Tony nomination for his play “Hand to God,” is writing the screenplay. Lionsgate will begin production on the untitled movie in Hong Kong in 2025.

The Caine spinoff is developed through “John Wick” director Chad Stahelski’s development deal with Lionsgate to oversee the action franchise. Stahelski will produce through his 87Eleven Entertainment along with Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee.
