Lilia Vanrouge

He's not particularly shocked.

After all, he's seen how you get when he jumpscares you, and, well, you've always had that hidden strength.

He can tell you're rather shaken emotionally, of course, so he finds an excuse to get you away. Diasomnia really gets you, you see.

Afterwards, when you break down, he's understanding. He offers you comfort, and surprisingly good advice.

He's seen this sort of thing play out before, and he knows what it's like to be in the receiving end of harassment himself, considering his own looks. People - especially people who mistook him for a woman - could get extremely touchy.

He might offer to cook for you. In that case, as appreciated as the offer is, you might want to turn him down.

The creep in question gets a nice... "talking to". What happened shall be left to the imagination, but it's safe to say the individual in question is even more terrified around you than they were after the broken wrist.

Riddle Rosehearts

The very sight of such harassment, so crude, so clearly in violation of the rules already had Riddle absolutely outraged.

He himself was just about to intervene when he heard the cracking sound, and the bastard's wrist went limp. It's quite apparent what you've done.

In all honesty, he's shocked - you were always the quiet, meek sort. He never knew you had it in you.

Although before his overblot, he might be somewhat outraged by your own behavior, afterwards, he'd be guilty for ever letting that thought cross his mind. He knows the staff members of the school; they'd never punish you for such a deed.

Seeing you sputter in a panic, he collars the person so brazenly harassing you, giving them a long talking to. It's safe to say they'll be wearing the collar for a while.

Afterwards, he attempts to offer you comfort the best he can, though he is admittedly a bit awkward about it.

Expect to see the person that harassed you collared for quite a while.

Ruggie Bucchi

Ruggie always could tell you were stronger than you looked.

It was the way you'd knock over weights by accident, the sheer strength with which you once decked him after he snuck up on you - You were so apologetic about that it was hilarious. He got a bunch of donuts out of it too.

Although Ruggie absolutely feels bad for you, watching the fucker creeping on you get what's coming to them is hilarious. He took a picture.

He says something about you needing to help him get Leona's favorite food, or whatever. Anything to put whatever this is to an end.

Honestly, Ruggie isn't very openly comforting, but you can tell he's worried. He keeps asking if you need anything, if you're okay, fussing over you like a mom.

He even gave you donuts. At that point, you were beginning to wonder whether he was sick or something. Although, this behavior from him is really heartwarming, and it does distract you from your own lingering discomfort.

Afterwards, Ruggie's got a new target whenever he wants someone to pickpocket.

Azul Ashengrotto

Azul was already in a terrible mood, and witnessing some charlatan harassing you did nothing to change that. In the Lounge? This was supposed to be a gentlemanly environment, he cannot have his reputation be tarnished by these sorts of insolent individuals!

That's what he tells himself, at least, the reason he plans to state before having the fool who treated you so terribly escorted out. Truth be told, he's also outraged on your behalf, terribly concerned for your well-being.

It's quite the pleasant surprise when you take care of the issue yourself. Your hand is swift and merciless, leaving the little prat with a broken wrist. He knew you had that sort of strength, really, he just never anticipated you having it in you to perform such an act.

Afterwards, you're clearly panicked, struggling to handle the situation, so he strolls up and 'kindly' informs the pervert they've been banned.

He offers you a free meal for your troubles, able to be claimed right now. Additionally, he advised you to eat in the VIP room, since there aren't any clients there, and you'll prefer the privacy after what just happened to you.

While you're there, he observes you to see if you're alright. He might not admit it outright, but he's incredibly concerned for you. How has your emotional well-being been impacted? Is there risk of this harassment spiraling even further?

Whichever fool thought it a good idea to mistreat you quickly finds themselves on the receiving end of Azul Ashengrotto's wrath; every single misdeed of theirs dug up and put on full display.

Big sister of the first years, always giving them advice as well supporting thru anything, offering their support towards who are having a bad time and will always try to find ways to cheer them on

Originally they suppressed their appetite since they are afraid of being judged in NRC at first so they usually have one plate during lunch and have a bunch of snacks break in between periods. But soon they started to gain more confidence to the point they eat normally at lunch.

Sebek and silver admired them seeing mitsuri!yuu as some sort of knight or warrior that protects people from the hands of demons. One time Lilia asked them to teach them swords man ship but they failed to study mitsuri!yuu swordmanship so they advise them to find their own specific sword style and find their own path.

Lilia holds respect for them, and during one time mitsuri!yuu show him his blade and color him impressed. Even if he's unable to wield it and is also Curious who has the skills to create a sword that is unique. Lilia also admires their pursuit for love and them being their own person as well being a warrior that is willing to risk their lives to protect people from monsters.

Always have snacks with them, grim will always for some of their Sakura mochi so they usually bring extra whenever anyone wants one.

The embodiment of beauty and the beast, many students actually assume that they were weak until mitsuri!yuu once lift up an entire boulder without any sweat and grim is just their smirking while their jaws drop knowing their capabilities.

Grim and mitsuri!Yuu the best pair ever, big sister of him, always encouraging him to achieve his dreams of being a mage always giving him the support or motivation. Originally grim was surprised that mitsuri!yuu believe him in wanting to be a mage.

Sometimes the first years would go to the ramshackle dorm to hang out with mitsuri!yuu, they would always prepare a big batch of food so they and the first years have a wonderful time, and sometimes would host an eating contest and mitsuri!yuu would always be the victor. Having tea parties, picnic and movie nights.

Mitsuri!Yuu has started to take interest in baking and they are very good at it. So during their birthdays the first years but then a cook book, as well getting them multiple other gifts, malleus even gave them a special sword made in briar valley.

Mitsuri!yuu and jack would usually have morning jogs together. And sometimes vil would tag along with them.

Vil originally his first interaction with them is thru a rumor, a beauty and the beast students who once lift a boulder as well known for being a ferocious appetite, during lunch vil is secretly looking at them and was impressed by how much they can eat. By now vil has respect for them and thinks they are a good role model for epel.

Rook admired their passion as well for their determination. Never giving up as well always willing to help people, he sees them as a righteous knight.

Remember the scene of mitsuri and teaching someone how to do splits, that epel with mitsuri!Yuu training is good for him his body is more flexible than ever.

During the dwarf mine cave incident, mitsuri!yuu displayed their skills Infront of the Adeuce and grim, by punching the monster and sending it back to the wall with force to the point it caused a crater behind it. The reason they didn't use their blade is due to Crowley forbidding them from using it freely in areas with students fearing it would hit them, if mitsuri!yuu have their blade the fight would be over in seconds.

Own multiple pets. A bunny, snake, cat, mouse and etc. called them a Disney princess mitsuri!yuu just admired and loved animals. They would also try to head pat jack, Leona, and ruggie and get rejected every time until they begin to allow them to pet them.

Ever since their appearance in twst, mitsuri!yuu was recommended to try ballet by the first years and vil, and soon they excel at it and become a ballerina as a hobby and something to do at the side.

They have enough money to support them and grim for a life full of comfort thanks to their job during their time as a demon slayer.

Excel at gym class is like a morning walk compared to their training as a demon slayer, professor vagas all time favourite students Always encourage students to be like them. Many students started to reconsider whether they are human or not.

Once the savanaclaw challenged them to an arm wrestling challenge and they dominated it even defeating Leona surprising the entire dorm. And now they call them big sisters mitsuri!yuu and have respect for them.

The first year's first impression of their job as a demon slayer was cool, they slay demons to protect people from demons is so cool for them. Actually it's mentally draining to be a demon slayer since you gotta witness innocent people being turned into demons or dying and eaten by demons.

You forced down a groan, knowing this guy's habit of partnering up with you for projects and leaving you high-and-dry to do all the work yourself. Before you could reply, you felt a hand gently rest itself on your shoulder.

"Actually, they said before class that we could partner up." You glanced up to see Jade, giving a tight-lipped smile at the Savanaclaw boy.

"How's about you and me partner up, Sunfish?" Floyd asked with a wide grin, appearing out of nowhere and squatting down to be eye-to-eye with the boy. Without waiting for a response, he wrapped an arm around the students and began to drag him away, the Savanaclaw boy whining fearfully as his tail tucked between his legs.

You leaned back in your chair to look up at Jade, eyebrow raising "Sunfish?"

"They're useless creatures who are rather ugly..." Jade chuckled, putting a hand over his mouth "My dear brother enjoys putting the nomer on creatures he finds unsavory."

"You guys are nuts," You chuckled. They weren't even in this class with you, since they weren't Freshmen. But lately, they had a tendency to show up whenever you needed it most. Especially when it came to classmates wanting to use you to do their work for them. But sometimes they weren't there....which gave you a perfect opportunity to practice on saying no to any students.

But you'd be lying if you said you didn't find it entertaining to watch the tweels use their powers of being terrifying for your benefit.

Everything was getting better.

All of your friends- even the Housewardens you weren't on the best speaking terms with- began working harder to make your life easier. Riddle made sure you understood all of your assignments, and helped you learn new studying techniques. Trey baked you goodies. Cater helped you learn more about the world through social media. Ace and Deuce were more supportive and protective of you. Leona, Ruggie, and Jack all made sure that you had a room available in Savanaclaw if anything happened again- or if Ramshackle were to collapse on itself. Azul made sure his VIP door was almost always open to you if you needed financial advice, and he made good on his promise to get you an easy job. The Twins, well....they did their thing. Kalim invited you to every party he threw (not that he didn't do that before) and gave you gifts from his homelands, providing you with furniture and decorations for Ramshackle. Jamil made sure you ate well, cooking whenever he felt you were having a bad day. Vil helped you with skincare and Alchemy work, even lending you some potions to use in "emergency" situations if you ever came across unsavory folks. Rook was- well, he was Rook. Epel offered a helping hand in the way of a beating if anybody messed with you. Idia and Ortho made certain that you had more than enough tech to keep you on a level playing field with magic-users. Malleus lent a shoulder to cry on and a venting buddy. Lilia and Sebek taught you self-defense. Silver was also a venting buddy, but he offered less than reasonable solutions to your problems (most of which were purely for chuckle purposes). And Grim tried to get into less trouble. Tried.

And all of the Housewardens kept their promise about researching a way to get you home. You'd receive updates on their progress once a week. Sometimes they'd have a bit of info found in an old library book that might have been about your world, or maybe a passage found on dimensional travel. Sometimes they wouldn't have any updates, but they'd still be sure to tell you.

And as for Crowley himself. Well....Malleus wasn't lying when he said that he had him tied up in Diasomnia's basement. It gave you an opportunity to have a nice little "chat" with the Headmage without him interrupting with his incessant babbling. It almost pained you to take the gag off of him. But the two of you came to an agreement that you wouldn't be doing his work for him anymore. You would be living in Ramshackle for free, not only because you and Grim were a student together, but because it was the Mirror's fault you were trapped here. You owed Crowley nothing for merely existing in the wrong place.

And you started to feel better about life, bit by bit. With almost all of the pressure taken off of you, it made life feel more easy, more relaxing. You started to enjoy your time in Twisted Wonderland, even! Maybe if there really was no way for you to go home, then you could make a happy life for yourself here.

Maybe.

Maybe not.

But it was nice to have the option. And it was nice to feel okay since this all started.

Lilia is just a poor old fae, who so happened to take what he thought to be a harmless joke too far.

The red eyed fae had always made it a point to tease you, so much so to the point where you began to suspect his 'teasing' was, instead, flirting. He would always hang upside down, giving you a devilish smile and saying things such as; "Ah, prefect! When are you going to give this poor old fae a chance?" with a chuckle. You always responded with a roll of your eyes and an exasperated sigh, easily hiding the blush beneath your facade of exasperated sighs and rejection.

He had no clue when this time you crossed your arms and replied, "Fine." you meant it full-heartedly, while he only fed into what he thought to be an ongoing inside joke. He laughed about taking you to some lavish date in town with extravagant hand gestures, inwardly chuckling at how he thought he was sounding ridiculous, yet you were listening rather attentively and taking him seriously. You both parted ways to your respected dorms, Lilia failing to notice a very real blush that flared upon your cheeks as he winked and disappeared from sight.

Lilia hadn't truly meant what he said, he was simply going along with a bit you two had made while gaming at some point. What you called "too much," they simply said it was necessary to help you 'glow,' as Vil put it. "There, perfect. Now, will you finally tell us who you're going on this date with, that caused you to come begging for my fashion advice?" Vil inquired to you, making the finishing touches to your hair. Rook circled around you in the chair that you were sitting in, admiring the work he and his housewarden had put into your finalized date look.

You couldn't resist his charming nature and his way with words, so you agreed giving him a big smile and striking a flattering pose to show off your fit. After taking a photo much to his liking, Rook gave you an approving nod whilst Vil patted you on the shoulder wishing you luck. With your look now completed, you took your leave heading to the spot you had agreed upon.

There was a specific cafe you had been wanting to visit in the town, and when you mentioned it to Lilia over text (after you finally agreed to his advances) He simply replied; "Sounds like a lovely little place, I'd love to go." You smiled down at your phone, re-reading the text you had made the night prior, texting him "On my way," before chuckling in delight and putting your phone back into your pocket. The skies were rather cloudy that day, and rain seemed to be forcasted from the shadowly clouds afar , however you did not let this deter you from your plans. You made it to the cafe and stood to the side of the wooden door, pulling your phone out once again to glance at your notifications. He hadn't responded. You weren't too worried about this, he wasn't one to give fast responses, and the type to say, "Well I figured since we were about to see each other in person, why bother replying?" in these situations. So, you gave it time.

10 minutes. 20 minutes. 25 minutes. The clouds you had dreaded were now casting shadows over you, and rain began to sprinkle. Becoming antsy you decided to walk inside, being greeted by staff before taking a seat at a small table meant for two. You stared back down at your phone, texting him once more.

No response, and no indication he had read it in the first place. You gave it a little bit more time, perhaps he got caught up in some sort of nonsense with Sebek or something came up with silver?

30 minutes, 45 minutes...You decided to call him. The fact that it went straight to voice mail indicated he must have been on 'do not disturb' mode, something he often does when he's...gaming.

screw it. You ordered a drink and sat back down at the table. Growling in annoyance you sipped away at your drink while continuing to tell yourself "15 more minutes, 10 more minutes, it'll be okay, he has a family back at the dorms, and he's kind of forgetful. I'm sure he will remember and respond to me soon. He's probably not actually playing games, he probably forgot to turn off do not Disturb after his raid last night... it's...it's okay." Another 15 minutes passed, another 50 excuses you convinced yourself of before it became about 2 hours past the time you had arrived. You had ordered two drinks at this point, playing away at your video game on your phone until it consumed your battery and eventually died.

you knew he wasn't coming.

Sighing in pure defeat, you stood up and disposed of your drinks, leaving a hefty tip to the worker who had served you. They gave you a look of pity and a small thank you for your token of appreciation, something that caused you to cringe and your frown to deepen after turning away from the counter.

don't look at me like that, You thought in agony, It only confirms that...I got stood up by the one person I didn't think would do that to me. walking out of the café with the rain pouring down heavier than before, you let out yet another miserable sigh before a weary chuckle. "Sighing?" you could hear a voice say in your head, "Why, you're letting all of the happiness escape you." You rolled your eyes at this and simply kept your feet moving, responding to the voice out loud, "Well... that's what happens when you rely on someone. You sigh away your happiness, because they took that with them."

Many people had already left the streets in search of shelter, to which you didn't care anymore. Your hair was now free of the styling Vil had taken the time to do for you, The little amount of makeup he applied was now streaming down your cheeks mixed with rain and tears. The outfit that was specially picked for you was drenched and sticking to your skin uncomfortably, however, you no longer cared at this point. Walking to the campus was about 30 minutes from the city, and the agonizingly slow pace in which you took extended it to closer to what felt like an hour. Or an eternity.

You walked through the gates of the school, the courtyard free from anybody in sight. You weren't sure if you wanted to go in just yet and face grim seeing you in such a miserable state, so you took a seat on the ground off to the side of the gates, sobbing into your knees. The weather has gotten worse pouring down heavier and heavier, you finally decided it was probably a safety hazard at this point, and lethargically picked yourself back up to make the way to your dorm. That was...until a familiar voice called out your name.

What a joke... He must have finally seen the messages. you inwardly laughed, staring blankly at the fae standing in front of you in the middle of the courtyard. He wasn't his cheery self per usual, he wasnt trying to poke fun or flirt with you, he was serious. His red eyes weren't glistening with playfulness, they were...not the Lilia you knew.

"Well if it isn't the man of the hour!" You called out, forcing yourself to laugh grimly, trying to rush past him, "better get inside before you get soaked too-" Lilia grabbed hold of your arm and pulled you back. He knew what you were doing, you were trying to pretend none of it ever happened. You were pushing back the fact you were hurt, and avoiding what he had to say because you already knew. You didn't want to hear him say it, you just wanted to dry off in your dorm and sleep the horrible day away, sleep away the burning in your heart and the wrenching feeling of dread that tore in the pit of your stomach.

"(y/n)-" He said, the playfulness that normally sang in his words was no longer there, only cold seriousness intertwined with his demeanor instead. You flinched, unable to reach his gaze and having a difficult time removing yourself from his strong grasp. You never knew that hearing your name come out of his mouth could feel so...estranged. It was common that hearing him say your name would make your heart dance in backflips, however this time it made your heart sting for a different reason.

"Please-" You choked out, "I just...want to go home." He shook his head and lightened his grip on your arm, where you were finally able to remove it and rub your wrist gently. A few seconds of silence felt far too long, the air was thick and the rain seemed as if it began to let up. His hands were placed on his hips as he sighed and shifted his gaze down with a shake of his head.

"I believe my joking has gone too far this time, i'm afraid," He said, looking up at you with pitiful eyes.

don't look at me like that, you thought in apprehension and a pained expression painting your features, like I should be empathized with. Like I am below you, like I...fabricated it all in my mind. No matter how much you wanted to say the words out loud, you couldn't seem to find your voice. So, he continued.

"I was under the impression that we were going along with a joke, I wasn't aware you had harbored real feelings for me. Forgive this old Faerie, I'm afraid I'm rather dense when it comes to romance, much less the... romantic advances of a human."

Your eyes widened slightly as your chest seemed to cave into itself. That word... Human. He was drawing a line, reminding you of what you are, and what he is. You knew this all along and had come to terms with falling in love with a Fae, especially one aged as much as Lilia himself. You scoffed and your sadness soon turned into anger, you quickly found your voice. With clenched fists and nails digging into your palms, the shaky unsureness was replaced with adrenaline and rage.

"I know!" You yelled sternly, looking down at the ground with tears of melancholy rushing down your flushed cheeks red with vexation. Lilia didn't seem to have much of a reaction to the sudden outburst, he gently folded his arms and listened to you as your poured your heart out of your lungs.

"I understand. I'm a naïve human, and you're a wise old Fae!" You sobbed, "Do you really think I'm that stupid?!" Your eyes were lit with fires, looking up to reach his own slitted orbs of deep Burgundy. You couldn't tell what he was thinking, he had a frown upon his lips and eyes devoid of any strong emotion, but you didn't care anymore.

"You have lived many years, far past my own. I get that! But you know what, I didn't care about any of those differences, because I love you, goddamit! I love you because you're Lilia, I wasn't even thinking about your age, your race, or anything! But I get it, I know what you're thinking." Your heart pounded and throbbed in your chest, even after admitting your feelings out like that, you still couldn't tell what Lilia was thinking this very moment behind those eyes. He hadn't moved a single muscle since you began your confession.

"To you, I'm just...a young human who can find anyone else that will fulfill my romantic needs that this is a phase of infatuation, But I-" He finally held his hand up, and you can feel the line he was putting between the two of you. He knew you were going to try and tell him that those things didn't matter to you, how you could still live happily by his side, and convince him that you didn't care what happened in the future, but to live in the present. However you can also tell there was no changing his mind, there was no convincing him, and his convictions were final.

"It seems that you already know what I'm going to say," Lilia spoke in a calm authoritative tone, "I hope we can still enjoy each other's companionship as friends, however, it cannot go any further than that. I apologize for casting confusion in your mind, (y/n), however romance is..." He turned his back, "far too late for me."

With that being said, you blankly stared at him as he left you behind, once again sitting limply against the side wall of the gate. You tried to tell yourself you understand, and perhaps this was nothing more than a..."right person wrong time" situation. As you tried to console your mind with reasonings to your stressful encounter, you weren't entirely certain how long you sat out as the rain in which you thought was dissipating, began to thunder and pour it's tears as it had earlier.

The only sounds left behind was the sad song of a broken heart, and the rain drowning out your defeated sobs.

he already has basically indirectly taken you out on dates. for instance, when he once brought you to diasomnia to eat (dont worry, not his cooking) and it happened to be JUST the two of you to make it. with flowers and candles and everything. how convenient. he stares at you from his side of the table with his head in his hands as you look around at the little set up confused... but it's not like you're complaining anyways.

he sort of treats you already like you are in a relationship. i mean, with how close he has gotten to you- sometimes it may just feel that way around him. he likes that. he's always treating you and talking to you how someone in a relationship would. but its also easy to confuse that with how he normally is since he is... pretty eccentric.

with lilia, its truly a mystery on when or how he'll confess to you. lilia has no problem being open with his feelings, he does bring it up to the others in diasomnia. but lilia has basically already confessed to you all the time, he straight up tells you. you could ask him why he likes being around you so much and lilia will simply state "because i love you, why else?".

trey clover

treys mind gets preoccupied for a while, troubled with the idea on how to even confess to you. he'll be what seems to be in thought and ends up getting distracted from tasks and duties often. even you yourself ask what's the matter and he'll snap out and give you a small smile "hm? ah well, rook did something pretty crazy earlier during science club today...." he laughs and brushes it off. nope he was trying to figure you out more, thinking what you would want most in a confession.

unfortunately for him as well, he doesn't have exactly anyone to ask for advice, he's usually the guy people go to for help and such. though he would confide in riddle, his own childhood friend... riddle is not quite experienced with love himself ^^;. and cater is well... cater. probably gave him a bunch of completely over the top ways but trey laughs telling him that isn't exactly his thing.

i've mentioned this before but trey canonically isn't good at professing love or be all smooth with flirting.... like at all. like he's really bad at it. so, he prompts to do something he is actually good at and decides to make a gift basket of sorts filled with your most favorite baked goods. he even decorated them to look cute, he's got good experience when at his family's bakery anyway. with that, he'll write you a sweet but simple letter. since he can't really bring himself to say it in words.

kalim al-asim

you could see his infatuation with you from a mile away. he is so painfully obvious you'd have to be completely dense not to see. nevertheless, kalim still wants to ask you out, the right way! an amazingly romantic way! he'd come excited to jamil at literally an early hour of the morning after thinking about it practically all night. knocking at his dorm door and be like "guess what! i came up with the most perfect plan!!" proceeds to instantly gets the door slammed on him.

kalim spends the whole day getting ready, trying his best to get everything ready. he'll have a normal party/celebration at his dorm and when you're both on a carpet ride boom, he'll confess to you. he spends the whole day smiling like a total idiot as he gets everything ready. at least that's how he imagines and hopes it'll turn out.

he cannot keep his eyes off of you the whole time, he's practically glued to your side. unfortunately, as he WAS about to confess, holding your hands to him, looking at you with a lovestruck smile, there was a mishap on the carpet ride. it wasn't seriously bad and besides, it only led to the two of you laughing together as you get up. even though you two are a bit disheveled and his "perfect plan" got messed up. he'll happily continue and blurt out the rest of his confession right there.

There's not many things that Lilia hasn't seen. But he understands that compared to him you are quite young,  and you haven't had the time he has had to get used to your own skin. So he's willing to wait. He knows you'll show him your beautiful eyes when you are ready.

And one day, you are. You're having a cuddle session, and Lilia is whispering enough affirmations to you that there is no world where you can't feel loved.  And when you're timid voice speaks up and says you're ready to show him your eyes, he has to do his best not to let out an excited shout so that he doesn't scare you off.

He is immediately distracted by your pink eye when the mask comes off. He has pink eyes! It's like you're destined to be together! You can't help but laugh about how excited he is about that, which sets him spiraling off on how your mint green eye is just as good because the thorn fairy loves green! 

Again, there is no way you can feel unloved when you're with this man. A part of you thinks it's silly that you ever felt self conscious, before he sees that thought cross your face, and tells you that it's alright, that was just your nervous system protecting itself can you tell I'm doing parts work in therapy lmao and that it is okay for you to protect yourself that way. There is nothing to be ashamed of.

Immediately wants to go back to the cuddle session. Don't get him wrong, he's really excited that you guys took this step forward together, but he is starting to get chilly again since you took a break from cuddling.

He's a little sheltered, let's be real. So when you tell him why you wear the mask all the time, he wants to tell you that he won't stare, but he can't be certain. He knows he'll love you no matter what, but still, he's not sure if you'd be comfortable with him staring.

So it's a growth thing for both of you. You both need to be ready for it. Riddle takes the time to get used to the idea, and you take the time to trust that Riddle isn't going to leave you or get scared of you over something like this. (He won't. He knows this. He loves you too much. But he won't push you on it.) 

When both of you are ready, you do your best to make it as normal as possible (but both of you are nervous, so it's still a little stiff). The idea was you'd have a tea party at Ramshackle, where Riddle would arrive and the mask would already be off. Easy peasy.

Riddle knew he would stare. But he didn't expect that the staring would be from how beautiful your eyes were. Both of them are practically glittering like jewels. He tears up a little, once he realizes how amazing it is to see his true love's eyes for the first time. It's like he is falling in love all over again.

After he assured you he's crying from happiness, you go back to your tea party. You do your best to stop your heart from fluttering whenever you catch Riddle staring at you with pure love and adoration.

He wishes he had some authority to give you advice on. He wishes he could offer some way to help you build your confidence up… but considering he calls his past "the forbidden lore" he has absolutely no authority. So he'll just have to wait until you are ready.

Also, prior to you dating, when you showed up in his life, he may or may not have had Jade look into you for business purposes, and you may or may not have never forgotten that, even though you know full well that he no longer needs blackmail or a use a contract to get you to do what he wants.

So it takes a bit of time for you to be ready to show him your eyes. To him, you are perfect in every way so there's nothing to worry about, but again, he has absolutely no authority in the manner. 

One day he offers a trade. He shows you his true form, if you show him your eyes. He even has a contract and everything, where if the day comes and either of you isn't ready, you can wait a little longer. But he thinks that if you both show your true selves at the same time, it might be easier.

So during the winter break, when Azul is certain there won't be many people on campus, you both go to one of the Octavinelle tanks, and he holds a potion, while you hold the corner of your mask. It's a "rip off the band-aid on three" kind of thing, and once you have both "transformed", it's very quiet in there.

You're struck with how beautiful he is. He's self conscious about this form? But he's so gorgeous! How can that be? Meanwhile he's having the exact same thoughts about you.

You both say, "You're so beautiful!" At the exact same time, and now you're both flustered. It's pretty cute actually, you're both acting like bashful young lovers and trying to one up each other on the compliments. And both of you end up coming to a new conclusion

It doesn't matter what the rest of the world thinks of you, because the one who matters most thinks you're perfect.

This guy. *Sighs*

He lives to compliment people. It's his favorite part of being Le chasseur d��amour! He wants to compliment all of you, and this includes what he is positive are "the most beautiful eyes to ever grace any world".  Most of the people on this list will let you do things on your own time. Rook Hunt is not most people.

He wants to read you like a book, and the eyes are the windows to the soul, non? Perhaps just a peak. He won't ask again! He promises he will be content if he just gets a peak.

Like Lilia, there's no world you can feel unloved with Rook. But his tactic here seems to be to annoy you enough that you forget that you are self conscious. And Rook is pretty good at strategy, so this plan is actually working.  

"This moment would be most merveilleux if I could see the emotions that your mask hides from me."

"You are a cruel lover to deny me your radiant gaze."

"If I were your mask, I should cherish every moment that I got to behold your visage."

One day, you are in the midst of  what is currently up to thirty minutes of a monologue on how "nothing would give my heart more joy than to be blessed with your holy gaze but once" when you just…rip off the mask.

What you don't expect is his hands immediately caressing your face as he kisses you with more passion than he ever has before (which is saying a lot, he's been written up for excessive pda multiple times at Pomefiore events he'd taken you to). When his mouth isn't on you he is breathlessly whispering about how "your godlike gaze is almost too much for this mortal being" and "Je peux mourir heureux maintenant que j'ai regardé le soleil."

You want to tell him to shut the fuck up, you're annoyed with him, but he's so passionate, and now you're getting all flustered and caught up in the moment, and you're forgetting what was happening a moment ago. The mask has a tendency to vanish from here on out. And the perfect hunter has no idea where it is. How strange! 😲

What Vil really wants is to know that the outfits he has designed for you will match your eyes. But he supposes that as long as they matched the mask it would be alright.

If you are okay with him doing your makeup, you'll hear him huff everytime he gets to the part where he'd normally do the eye makeup, but aside from that, he won't say anything. 

He knows that his presence and beauty can be intimidating (Rook's words) and on top of that he knows that being his partner gets you some negative attention from some of his crazy fans. He gets that it has to be so easy for you to feel insecure about your eyes not matching. So, one day, he sits you down and takes your hand, and tells you that if you never are comfortable, that's fine. He'll support you.

He even designs masks for you. They are some of his favorite creations because his favorite person wears them. On a selfish note, they are a mark to everyone that you chose him.

He's so honored and flustered when you tell him that you won't wear the mask to the ceremony for the award he won. Honestly, he tears up a little, but he blots that away quickly, since he ran out of waterproof mascara yesterday. Asks if you are comfortable with Rook seeing your eyes first so that he can design the outfit and it'll be a surprise on the day. Like he'll get to fall in love with you all over again…or you know, whatever, he's just spitballing here.

If the answer is no, he will still be just as flustered when he picks you up at your door in the outfit he designed for you without seeing your eyes. Seeing your entire face, watching those eyes light up as they take him in, it's everything for him. 

He's so proud when he receives his award, and gives a tear jerking speech where he thanks you for your love and support.  Everytime someone comes up to congratulate him, he goes on and on about how beautiful you look tonight, and how happy he is to have you in his life. It's the human side of Vil no one usually gets to see, and that night, everyone there sees you as the perfect being that Vil does.

"Beastie! There you are." Lilia rushes up to you with a basket in hand. "I have prepared a dish for us to share. Please, do give it a try. I promise it's not as bad as it looks," he beams, but the less than pleasant smell is more than enough for you to doubt his words.

Jamil is very understanding and supportive of your insecurities

he truly loves you for who you are, and he couldn't be more grateful that you love him

but he understands that's just how insecurities work and he'd try his best to help you

he's a great listener, so he's always here to lend you an ear if you feel the need to rant

ever the practical and mindful thinker, he'd also offer practical advice on, life habits, diets, and even self-confidence tips

"Ya amar, is the food to your liking?" Jamil asks, reaching over with a napkin to gently wipe your cheek of sauce. At your nod, he smiles contentedly. "I'm glad, take your time and eat slowly, there's plently more left." He says as he starts eating his own plate.

Riddle Info Compilation part 7: Intelligence vs Common Sense(pt1)

While clearly book-smart Riddle seems to occasionally lack common sense, particularly when it comes to cooking: in addition to adding oyster sauce to the strawberry tart he bakes in Book 1 he struggles throughout the Culinary Crucible when he tries to make cabbage leaves uniform in size, weigh water for parboiling and to measure the width of mincemeat.

A chef ghost asks Riddle outright why he signed up for the course in the first place and Riddle explains that “a housewarden should be the best at both academics AND cooking,” but also, “It makes sense to get a head start on living independently.”

Riddle is met with a chopped onion for what might be the first time in his life during Culinary Crucible: He reacts with confusion when his eyes begin to water and rubs them with his hands, which makes it worse, also to his surprise.

Riddle struggles with his cabbage rolls despite memorizing the recipe and acknowledges, “Even beyond cooking, there are plenty of things in this world beyond the limited aggregate of my experience. Today was a good reminder to stay humble.”

Riddle has another cooking adventure in a vignette where he attempts to craft a soup for an ill Trey.

Lilia offers his support, giving advice such as adding four spoonfuls of soup stock per cup of water.

Riddle expresses frustration with being told that cooking involves a lot of intuition, and doubts that good food can come from pure instinct.

Lilia recommends ingredients such as strawberry tarts, bananas and yogurt as “the more nutrients you put in, the faster he’ll recover.” Seeing nothing strange about this logic, Riddle says, “Then a heavy hand would be wise here.”

Riddle says he “let thoughts of Trey” guide his intuition with the soup, but it is “giving off a rather…pungent odor.”

Azul explains Riddle’s curious gap between academic performance and logic with, “Riddle’s always been better at written exams than applied ones.”

We also see that Riddle is completely ignorant to popular trends, though Cater defends Riddle when Ace expresses surprise, saying that Riddle has simply never cared.

When Ace tries to explain Cater’s phone case design Riddle refuses to listen, insisting that he has “never once been inconvenienced by this gap in knowledge!”

Later, Riddle reflects that it might not hurt to look into the trend.

𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐦𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧

Author's Note: I was listening to "let you break my heart again" by laufey. Then I started to think about Malleus and this song together. I spent a good 2 hours crying in the middle of the night thinking of scenarios so I had to write them down. Sorry if this is half baked or not as engaging. I did my best to write everything down before it leaves my pea sized brain. As always, please enjoy! :))

When they say that the first person you love, it leaves an everlasting impact on you. They’re right. Malleus can’t help but let these foreign feelings reside in him every time he’s around Y/N. He feels at ease with their presence, wants to talk to them, see them more, jokes that never fail to paint a smile across his lips or let out a hearty laugh. Years of being alone and never approached all seem to fade away as the warmth they give him is enough to forget about the isolated times. He eventually tells Lilia about the foreign feelings, wanting to know why Y/N makes them feel like this. Lilia felt conflicted as he is excited for Malleus and his feelings for Y/N but on one hand, this can hurt him as well.

“Malleus, what you have is blossoming feelings for Y/N. You think of them, feel your heart beating, eager to see them. Is that correct?” The older fae says as he is seated across from him, in the Diasomnia lounge with the two of them alone. Malleus silently nods and looks at Lilia with eager eyes, wanting to know more of what Lilia has to say since the older fae has lived through many experiences. He can help Malleus…right? Lilia takes a deep breath and continues to talk.

“I am happy to see that you are experiencing these emotions Malleus but…” He pauses, thinking of how to let him down gently. “You have to remember. Y/N isn’t from this world. As much as it hurts to say this to you, don’t get too attached. They have a life back in their own world with friends, family, or maybe even more. Just enjoy the time and memories you have with them.” With that the fae gets up and reassuringly ruffles his hair as he can see the visibly upset expression has, clearly something that he didn’t want to hear from his right hand man. As Lilia leaves, he sits there thinking as he can only hear his heart pound in his ears. The first heartbreak he experienced already. Knowing that he can never have you and he has to live every day knowing that your last day in this world can be any day now.

Time passes by with his feelings for them. As usual he still looks at them with lingering gentle gazes, taking in the way they laugh, the crinkles in their eyes when he sees their big smile. Being captivated by them yet from another world he tries his best to keep his feelings at bay. It was difficult with the stories that were exchanged, the nightly walks, and feelings of loneliness are no more when they are around. He takes Lilia’s advice and enjoys whatever time he as for the friend they have fallen for but proceeding with his heart at caution

Yet fate plays a cruel game. On the shared nightly walks he has with Y/N, they suddenly spoke up. “Malleus, I have something to say.” Their eyes speak with seriousness yet hesitation as their eyes meet his. He feels his heart beating and composes himself, nodding. “Yes child of a man?” He later will regret this interaction as he looks at them with wide eyes when they speak. “Crowley found a way to send me back to my world so when the weekend arrives, I will be leaving.” They said fiddling with their fingers anxiously and those words hurt him as he dreaded the day that he never wanted it to happen. All Malleus can do is smile as he places a reassuring hand on their head but in reality we wants to hold them tightly, not wanting to let go. Yet he doesn’t want to because he would take them away from people who miss Y/N dearly despite him now being one of them but in this world. To his surprise, they pull Malleus into a hug and he wraps his arms around them, a bit taken aback at the gesture. As they hug in silence, he wonders if they can feel his heart beating out of his chest from the mixed emotions of their touch and the news of the sudden departure.

The last week drags painfully slow for Malleus but then the day arrives for Y/N’s departure. They talked to everyone, some of their peers they were close with were crying or making last minute jokes, constantly going back and forth. Malleus stands there in the back awkwardly with his Diasomnia peers watching this happen. When it was their turn to say farewell to them, Malleus just lets the natural flow of the group conversation happen as he smiled looking at them one last time, engraving their features in his mind for the many years he knows he won't ever see again.

When it was time, Crowley has the portal ready for Y/N to leave. With that Y/N turns around giving a last minute goodbye to everyone until their eyes locked with Malleus. Giving him one last wave goodbye, smiling through tears welling up in their eyes, entering the portal as Malleus waves them goodbye staying composed with a faint smile on his face. He didn’t want to crumble as his peers were there. His chest pains to see the one who he first loved leave, probably never coming back. Once the portal stops its whimsical glow, the green particles of magic fade, letting the small gathering fall silent.

“You’re gone. You’re really gone…” He thinks to himself as he feels his chest tightened, feeling his breathing become heavy. That’s when his heart broke twice.

Once he got back to Diasomnia, he spent the rest of his day holed up. Lilia told the worrisome Sebek to give him time alone as the green haired fae was constantly yelling for his master to respond through the door. The next thing you know, Malleus’s life returned as it was before. The feeling of loneliness embracing him instead of Y/N, having no one to be there by his side, the things he once enjoyed are a bit difficult now as he always included them to join. The nightly walks don’t happen as much and if they do, he looks at the night sky wondering about their whereabouts. Hoping that one day, they can be under the same moon again.

Ending Notes: Now I have another idea while I was listening to “see you again” by tyler, the creator and unrequited love…anyways, hope you enjoyed it and sorry if the pov is weird. Feedback is appreciated!

Silbek first date thoughts? 👀

The funny thing to me about Silver and Sebek's relationship is how they're that couple who have been together forever but just don't realize it, so I will have to interpret this as "first date once they realize that they have been a couple all along but now there's a new layer to their already complicated relationship."

Silver would not expect anything special. All moments with Sebek are special in their own way, and he has very simple tastes. But he is now on the spot for coming up with an idea that would let Sebek know that Silver takes this new-but-not-new relationship seriously. (Which he had not even considered until his well-meaning friend and classmate Kalim asks where they went for their first date.)

Cue asking said friend and classmate for ideas, only to be inundated with elaborate plans involving parties and food and parades and typically the same sort of over the top ideas Kalim has for everything - and Silver certainly does not expect Kalim (read: Jamil) to do this for him! He appreciates the suggestions, and, as is typical of Silver, he thanks Kalim for the suggestions and offers of assistance. He tells Kalim that he now has an idea of where to start (because he is struck by the realization that Sebek's need for recognition and validation would extend to their newly sorta-relabeled relationship).

Spoiler: he really has no idea.

Meanwhile, Sebek is the romantic of the two of them. He will certainly not ask his fellow first-years for advice on this - he knows Silver! He needs no assistance, least of all from these humans!

But perhaps it comes up because he has zero poker face and he's been pensive all day and frowning and irritable more than usual.

Once they sus out what is troubling Sebek, they give him typical ideas like dinner-and-a-movie, or going to an amusement park, or paint ball (which Sebek perks up a little at once the mechanics are explained, but this is hardly a challenge to either of them after Master Lilia's training!).

Not only that, but Sebek is a romantic. What is romantic about attacking each other with balls of paint? Or dining together, when they do that every day already?

What would Malleus do?

(Sebek decides that if Malleus were to go on a date, he would deservedly be the recipient of all the planning, so this train of thought does not help him, either.)

Naturally, their regular schedule of training and schoolwork and club activities does not change as they both consider what they might do for this first actual date.

The woodland creatures do their best to help, as they know something is bothering Silver. They bestow upon him gifts of flowers, and one afternoon, when he's walking with Sebek, they fashion a couple of tiny crowns for them both. This annoys Sebek because it is messing up his hair, even if it is rather adorable on him.

(Silver apologizes, but he can't stop smiling as he helps Sebek fix his hair, and that smile is a gut punch to Sebek, who vows anew that he WILL come up with the perfect date idea, just you wait!)

Lilia, naturally, notices that they have both been not quite themselves, and he asks Silver if anything is bothering him. When Silver says no, he's just been trying to think of what he and Sebek can do on their first date, Lilia is rather surprised that neither of them have had this "first date" experience (they are always together, and Lilia has provided them with so many opportunities to strengthen their bond!).

But Lilia is in the Pop Music Club, and what better opportunity than attending a concert together! Naturally, Kalim is onboard, and Cater will take care of all the promotion of this concert, and of course Silver and Sebek will attend (as Malleus' guards, of course. Malleus was PERSONALLY INVITED by Cater and even teasingly pretended he might stay still long enough for Cater to snap a photo. Which of course, he did not.)

Since Malleus is happy, Silver and (especially) Sebek are happy. The concert is, of course, a bit all over the place genre-wise (never assume Lilia will resist the opportunity to be a bit screamy).

Malleus is the one to suggest that Sebek and Silver dance together - it is only at his insistence that Sebek is convinced to leave his side - and the concert ends prematurely because Lilia cannot resist livening things up in an effort to push his son and his student together a bit more. (Sorry, speakers, at least Kalim can afford to repair them).

Silver and Sebek are on immediate alert, breaking apart and searching for Malleus, with Sebek lamenting ever having agreed to dance with stupid Silver in the first place. (Malleus, in the meantime, has disappeared as he has mistaken this abrupt ending as the actual end of the concert and has disappeared, as he is wont to do).

It isn't until the next day when Malleus asks them at breakfast how their date went that Silver and Sebek even think of that as having been a date, but since Malleus has defined it as such, it must be!

Sebek loudly proclaims it a success, but is blushing, and Silver agrees with one of those smiles he reserves just for Sebek.

Lilia asks who initiated their first smoocharoo and Malleus looks confused at first but is immediately curious as well.

Silver takes advantage of this to lean over and kiss Sebek on the cheek before smugly announcing "I did."

(That totally does not count as a "smoocharoo," Sebek insists, because their lips did not touch, and he is so invested in arguing his point that he almost misses Lilia and Malleus getting up from the table to go to their first class.

Later that day, after Equestrian Club, when Silver and Sebek are stabling their horses, Sebek makes sure to initiate their first "real" smooch.

But only to prove Silver wrong and not because he actually wanted to or anything.)
