I'm typically really hard on media from my own country (I'm not really sure why, I just judge it really hard) but I'm watching the new Danish Netflix show called The Chestnut Man and it's actually really good and interesting so far! So if you're into crime dramas, I'd definitely recommend looking into it 😊

#Also it's really weird watching a Danish show after watching so many Korean ones in a row #Like I understand everything fluidly of course because it's my native language but I still have English subtitles on lmao #Actually really interesting to see what they do and do not translate correctly and it makes me wonder what other subtleties are lost when #I watch shows in languages I don't understand #Anyway also these names in this show so far are very unusual like it seems like they spiced them up a bit for international audiences #Like where are all my boring Jørgensens and Frederiksens and Andersens?
