#having ummm second thoughts abt my love for this series???#Like it’s a ton of fun but a lot of flanagans choices irk me#Book 7 + gets a little uhhhhh#anyway need not be said but fuck his bad decisions they suck and I’ve elected to think critically about them and learn from them#and make changes for the better#it’s definitely got its ups and downs#my meme isn’t the place to talk abt this but#I’m proud of it for having make characters who cry and love and care and it doesn’t affect their “manliness”#and for women being in places of power in a misogynistic society and for the main good guys respecting them (important!!!!!)#but a lot of other stuff is def sketchy#ANYWAY#Not too excited for this book 🧍#rangers apprentice#will treaty#alyss mainwaring#halt o'carrick#evanlyn#princess cassandra#starbursts art#the emperor of Nihon-ja#Idk what happened with evanlyns face like it just wouldn’t work you know how it be#I always forget how I draw characters noses dude#THE FIRST RIME IVE EVER FORGOTTEN WILLS FRECKLES NOOOOOOO
