What if the taxes are already added to the prices of items you buy in Stardew Valley, like how a lot of the world does? Like a pizza is 600g, what percentage of that could the base price and what percentage could be tax? Cause when you sell it, it's 300g so maybe...half the price of an item is taxed?

Plus there's also the fact that there's a war going on. I wonder if that means war bonds and rations might be a thing in-universe?
