I mean getting all your info from Twitter is Bad. It’s very Bad. Don’t get me wrong. But getting all your information on a topic or event from one Tumblr post that’s speaking entirely anecdotally is also bad, you guys understand that, right?

#deleted my replies to a post because I don't want assholes who didn't even look into a story to bitch at me #vent #like it's insane how many tumblr users consider things Wholly True based on the 'evidence' that's basically an anecdotal post at best.#Like even innocuous bullshit like people claiming that Jack Black started a youtube channel to dethrone pewdiepie #when that wasn't even fucking close to the case at all - it was literally a throwaway joke about how much he wanted his channel to grow #but someone on tumblr said it (AKA completely bad-faith twisted his words) so it MUST be true!!!!#please shut up and think for a goddamned second. and look for the fucking evidence at hand
