Hey y’all, weird question time again, completely unrelated to the dinosaurs I made today!

Other than cutting your nails short (because I’ve tried that and it did not work), is there a way to make your nails less sharp?

My nails have always been super sharp, no matter what I do or how long (or short) they are and my hand slipped and I have a cut on my face now from my own nail lol

(to be clear I am not really expecting there to be a solution, I just think it’s a little funny that it happened and also I have been wrong before and y’all have had solutions to problems I thought unsolvable)

It was indeed milk!

We don't truly know how exactly ronin Mikey grew up but I'm assuming that in like most iterations of the turtles, food and a place to stay were hard to come by when growing up, specially when Mikey and his brothers were babies. Because of this, Mikey knows what is like growing hungry and not letting any food they had the luck of having go to waste.

In the comic Mikey is shown growing his own crops and harvesting them So in the au Mikey grows his own vegetables and fruits making it easier for him to prepare food for the babies. He tries his best to make a large variety of dishes for them because he wants them to try as much they want and never go hungry. Since Mikey is a turtle mutant himself he tries to makes dishes that would appeal to their turtle cravings too, like algae! In addition to this, in the au Mikey sells his harvest to nearby towns to manage with money or stuff he and the babies need for the house! (like ingredients to make homemade pizza :] )The people from the towns he usually visits don't really mind him or the babies because they are aware they are Hamato clan members and the people from the towns actually like having the little turtle family around! (Since Mikey can't really leave the babies on their own yet (not like he wants to either), the towns knows of their existance and they love them)

I know he's probably not going to show up again in future games anytime soon, and only two ending variants actually have him slice his left hand, but if Solas doesn't keep that scar to mirror Inky in future appearances I might just cry.

It's too perfect ok? Romanced or not, their stories are tied together (for good or ill) and him bearing a mark to mirror the one he inflicted on the Inquisitor? Poetry.

What's hilarious is the parallel probably wasn't intentional. He's just got the lyrium dagger in his right hand already and his left hand is empty and free, so it's the easiest thing to have him slice. Using right-handed animations because that's just the default (don't get me started).

But it WORKS so fucking well I'm just going to pretend it was 100% planned and the parallel is meant to be a brilliant callback.

i really like talent development plan but i do have to wonder how some of these bonds formed in a world without a killing game. like how did komaru and toko (and syo as well) manage to become so close without the shared experience of getting beat up by a bunch of fifth graders.

all the while society conflates "being an adult" with "having a proper job" and "having money to make arbitrary Adult Purchases" disabled people who can't work - or can only work part time or can only do entry level baby jobs - will never be 'allowed' to be adults

you can say "being an adult is looking after yourself you don't have to have a job!!!" all you want but most people who say that will still assume anybody who doesn't either can't or won't 'look after themselves' actually. and every 'marker' of 'adulthood' that's observable and thus actually counts or whatever loops back around to... having a job and 'contributing' something
