I started watching Discovery of Witches and had to stop because I wondered what was up with the Daemons. So naturally I had to look it up because intense curiosity must be satisfied rn! Unfortunately now I have many more questions because as far as I can tell they are just humans+.

And by that I mean really just very neurodivergent savants -primarily of the audhd mental illness flavor. But! There’s more! Bc sometimes some of them have visions. In a world with time bending witches and vampire who can all day walk. Witches can cast spells! Vampires have superhuman abilities and immortality. Daemons have, I repeat, the power of neurodivercity -and sometimes visions. And that’s it!

I’m so underwhelmed and idk what that I’m fucking vibrating rn. That can’t be it?! Why? Oh wait im sorry their genes are slightly different too, and they can just be randomly born to seemingly anyone who can procreate. Usually just humans though. So. Yup. I gotta take a break.
