         The Bundeswehr Music Corps conducted by Lieutenant Colonel Christoph Scheibling.

         The song cannot be attributed to any author. It was probably written by a youthful sailor or a coastal whaler. In early 2021, the song became known through versions by The Longest Johns and Nathan Evans, we play it to an arrangement by Sebastian Middel (Auren Verlag), the intro is based on the acapella version by the musician Tomi P#
