Wish birds When visiting Altissia Noctis takes part in an old Altissian tradition. If you write your wish on a wish bird and throw it into the mouth of the Tidemother statue, your wish will come true. Noctis uses a black ball point pen to write his wish on the bird but what he wrote will remain a mystery as it's too blurry to read. He throws the bird in the air and it glides towards the statue. We don't see it go in the mouth but Noctis exclaims, "Yes!" so I think we can assume he was successful. Looking closely at the statue you can see some wish birds stuck in the metal frame of the statue and others that have landed inside. I hope Noct's wish came true. Edit to add Looking at the game files there are 5 possible wish choices. I don't know what influences which wish is used. Four are unreadable, two appear to be the same wish but written on opposite wings, but one quite clearly says, "Beat Prompto's score on JMV". All images copyright Square Enix Co Ltd.

REPOSTOBER day 4

today I offer some of my godtier designs for the astrals in my ffxv/sburb au w/ Leviathan as a Heir of Rage and Bahamut as a Prince of Hope. The idea going for this is that between the astrals winning their session, creating Eos (the world, not the astral cause she's included in this), and the events of ffxv, they gradually morphed from like regular people to the more extreme appearances in ffxv

also, eff if, here's a couple other doodles i'm pretty sure i haven't shared before too. Eos as the Mage of Space, and Etro as the Slyph of Time

Altissia, the Leviathan battle. Special MTs emerge from dropships and flythrough the air on wires to attack the Tidemother. As Noctis makes his way to the altar you can see them whizz past but they are little more than a blur, unless of course you have Ansel. Knowing what happens in ffxv makes it so hard to play

Leviathan as a regular battle summon.

If you've played FFXV, you know how super rare it is to get any other summon besides Garuda or Ramuh (Curse the day I unlocked Garuda, she's not even an Astral!!) - I have yet to see Titan, and up until recently I thought getting Leviathan, Shiva and Bahamut was impossible, or if they appeared at all, only in Insomnia, because of story progression.

And then this happened. I don't know what the conditions are to get the Tidemother's help, but Noctis was in danger state and poisoned, as you can see.
