💝🫂🍫 for kirino and shindou!
alright ~! for the ask gane…
1. kirino ranmaru
💝 - a headcanon about their love language… personally? i think it would either be acts of service or quality time. i'm not sure how to explain it, but i just had the thought and went this is kind of him, isn't it? 🫂 - a friendship headcanon… i like the thought of kirino being friends with taiyou. i have a feeling their dynamic would be something like "the mediator and the reckless friend." that aside, i also like to think they would hype each other up when sending photos of each other (you'll see what this means eventually. for the mean time, just take a look of my artwork of kirino in a skirt for a really vague reference) 🍫 - a headcanon about food… she would probably visit a cafe to buy some latte and bread. specifically tuna bread (rolls) but i don't think that matters
2. shindou takuto
💝 - a headcanon about their love language… saw someone ( <- cannot find that someone please send help ) headcanon him as someone who'd have gift giving as a love language because. Well. He's Rich! and i agree. also, i think quality time works, too. 🫂 - a friendship headcanon… oh this one's a little difficult. i don't focus much on shindou so i never really thought about this (same goes for the food hc's but i typed those out first) even then, i've always wanted kishibe and shindou's friendship to be explored ever since i first saw them. aside from their admirable rivalry, i want to see them ramble about things like the people they look up to (you know who), or maybe their special interests !! (they both have autism canon real im level5) 🍫 - a headcanon about food… being the rich kid that he is, he's likely been able to try a lot of different foods from all around the world. (maybe not travel there directly all the time to try them, but you know) i don't think he's the type to like food that's too greasy? uhh also if we're talking about specific foods i think he'd like bulgogi or acqua pazza (that's a really big jump but who cares? i do but i hope you don't)

What does your ship says about you
Here we are with some funny memes, everything is done to lightly make fun of the exaggerated version of the ships so no hate here. Hope this will steal a few laughs out of you~
Kdfd: you sniff the “enemies to friends to lovers” trope like its the best kind of heroine and now your life is a mess. Also since you like smth popular you are apparently stealing the spotlight to other people, but irony aside, you’re a very loud one about what you love.
Enkaze: you tell everyone you’re here for the fluff and cozy friends to lovers but you’re actually after the angst juice like a bee with pollen. Also you’re the mom friend of your group or any group for what matters.
Tatsumido: you’re out there doing God’s work and bringing life and prosperity to all. Keep at it good fella and don’t eat too much fruit flavoured ice cream while you try to distract yourself from your crippling anxiety.
Somefubu: let’s keep this short, you have the softest heart but you wanna fuck furries or dragons, 20pt to Slytherin if you wanna do both.
Gensaku: you are that one friend everybody likes but never gets invited to parties for some reason- there’s also an 8 out of 10 possibility you might grow into liking some shady kink in the nearest future (if you don’t already).
Tsunatachi: you are the actual sun and nobody deserves you but everybody needs you.
Goufubu: you took too literally the old saying “if he hits you he likes you” from when you were growing up, but you’re one of the softest bitch on the block, just wanting to hold hands and not understand what flirting means.
Someatsu: if you don’t know what a kismesis is your life is slighter less messy than I thought but you should go check that out. If you do know, I see you Homestuck sucker and you’re right.
Enki: “a sorcerer and a bard try to take on a quest on their own” this would be a good joke if it wasn’t for the small detail that you know the mess they’re about to make but simply decide to let that one slide, all because you’re an “opposite alignments are hot together” kind of person.
Kisaku: remember that one person you had a crush on in middle school? The one you admired and envied a bit bc of how good they were? Good, forget it and start a new life in another country, possibly alongside few therapy sessions about your inferiority complex-
Entatsu: I know you meant good when you kept tabs of all your crush’s social medias and when you printed twenty picture of them to make a big ass collage and put it on your wall in a heart shaped frame, but the police is here and they’re gonna have a word with you-
Suzunagu: you took the “opposite attract each other” a lil too literally and started shipping the human torch and that ice dude from the Incredibles together. It was probably one of your first ships in the fandom because you were a 14yo thirsty for some hate sex.
Haimizu: you are either desperate for someone to pamper and babysit you or you still need to get over your “I want an edgy emo boyfriend” phase. In both case you still cry over InaPen being dead.
Haiasu: there’s a serious Florence Nightingale Syndrome going on here, aka please stop falling in love with people you think need your help to get better but only end up consuming all your life force.
Nosanishi: your favourite love trope is a foot walking all over its own private and grateful doormat.
NosaHiura: you just love bishonen who looks good next to each other.
Nishimitsu: that one episode in which they imply Nishi had followed Mitsuru around got you going for good because you just love the cop/bad guy trope and wished for some steamy make out in a closet and for Nishi to feel guilty yet undeniably attracted to Mitsuru. Also you have a size difference kink.
Nishimizu: your imagination knows no bounds I am truly impressed of how far you’d go just to have a decent, soft ship. You’re also probably a Nishikage stan and there’s a 70% chance that you do NOT like Nosaka at all, or not with your Nishi at least.
Asuhika: I’m not entirely of whom but you want for one of them to save the other from whatever shit is happening because they’re both cute and filled with light so you just HAD to ship them together to keep yourself sane in this world made of mean people. You should probably toughen up a bit sweetheart tho-
Froymitsu: the day you’ll stop mourning will be the day Level5 will give back Mitsuru. You’re a brave soldier, marching on despite having to live in the past glories of what once was. You are a hero who only wanted for both Froy and Mitsuru to keep smiling.
Hiroatsu: you’re that one starving and alone dude crawling on the ground of the fandom, licking all the frames where your baby were together even if not interacting as if they were water in the desert. You live off headcanons and spend all your money in commission for your crack pair, desperately hoping for someone to like the hundred chapters fic you wrote about them.
Haihiro: two boys chilling on their beds opposite from each other cause they’re not gay is a classic that will never die and you know it and will exploit the Heaven and Hell out of it ;)
Enaki: in the end the boy gets ends up with the childhood friend and they live happily forever after sounds like a sweet ending but it only means you’re a Freud victim and want to marry your mom.
Ennatsu: your favourite female characters are ALWAYS the tsundere ones and you’re so sure you want a gf like that but truth is you’d die after 24h of living together.
Entachi: you’re a sucker for fluffy balls of light and you’re biggest kink is probably holding hands and kisses on the cheeks.
Tobitora: at this moment you’re probably having a stroke for me even saying the ship name since the content on them is slim to none and you’ve already lost all faith in humanity to even try and comprehend how wholesome your ship is.
Goutora: you just want to fuck Gouenji, we get it, he’s amazing and you love him so much you’re already on your knees please get up.
Norinae: admit it, you just missed Enkaze too much and/or have really good taste for stable, positive and healthy relationships.
AnnaOotani: probably the only pair in the whole Ares/Orion franchise with absolutely no flaws. You have good taste and just want to live a peaceful life. Respect.
Any other lesbian ship: you’re perfect, keep up the good work, lesbians ship are the only light in this cold, dark world we call home.

Project Proposal #2
For my project, I want to focus on the topic of gentrification. While I want to place my project in East Los Angeles, many of the patterns I plan to address are also true for other gentrified areas across America. I want to address the themes of class, class in relation to consumerism, art and artists both being part of gentrification and opposing it, as well as change and the comparison to manifest destiny. While I originally planned to focus my project on the theme of real estate, I became inspired by art for or in opposition to gentrification.
Through my research regarding gentrification in Los Angeles I found lots of street art, art and creative social media posts that inspired me. Pati Rodgriquez, a resident of Bushwick, New York which is in the process of becoming gentrified, and other long-time residents of newly gentrified areas placed lit signs out for the holidays in 2015. Rather than use Christmas lights, residents hung signs with the art collective the NYC Light Brigade who hosted a community workshop to create the signs out of Christmas lights (Voon). The signs posted outside homes and businesses had phrases such as “Gentrification is the New Colonialism,” “Not for Sale,” “No me mudo” (“I’m not moving”), and “3 Generation Household” (Voon). The signs “Gentrification is the New Colonialism” and “Not for sale” I feel especially relate to my project and made me think further about the idea of developers and home buyers buying homes from people who do not want to sell but may be forced or driven out. In addition, the idea of gentrification as a type of colonialism connects to theme of manifest destiny I want to present in my piece. The reading of “Character Development: Brody Condon’s “Level5” and the Avant-LARP of Becoming Self,” reminded me of Buddhist ideal of everything being connected. I want to connect recent gentrification to similar historical systems, such as colonialism, to outline how this is not a new idea but a continual process. Another anti-gentrification artist whose work has and will inspire my piece is John Criscitello.
Criscitello, a Seattle-based artist, uses the medium of graffiti to spread messages opposing gentrification in areas experiencing gentrification in Seattle. He challenges ideas of gentrification by speaking to or getting the attention of people who are flocking to newly gentrified areas in his art. For example, one sign on a building reads, “This studio apartment available 10 sq. FT. $1850 MO. Park view! Air conditioned Legendary Capitol Hill” (Kelly O). This sign catches the sign of people looking to move into an area and satirizes it by saying the place is only “10 square feet”. This connects to my interest in real estate, as well as the larger theme of consumerism, within my piece. Another work of his states “We came here to get away from you” which I believe speaks to the issues of race and class and can also be related to manifest destiny as people feel that their area is being taken over and they thus have nowhere to go (Kelly O).
Other works of street art have also inspired me. The phrases “Gentrification in progress” and “Not for sale,” or “Not4Sale”, seem to have been adopted by many street artists to signify this change in upcoming areas. One piece I especially connected with was construction tape around a building that said “Gentrification in progress”. Similar to the Criscitello’s piece about the apartment for rent, I like the construction tape because it uses objects connected to change and rebuilding as a means of challenging notions of gentrification. In addition, I was inspired by the artists Mendi and Keith Obadike, who I researched for my Net Art Anthology project. In the same series as the piece I did, there is a piece called “Blackness for Sale”. The piece was a four- day eBay auction selling “blackness” in order to display issues of race, class, and identity (Obadike). The documentary, The Century of Self, we watched in class also addresses the idea of consumerism in America as part of the American psyche. Americans always want more and desires become needs. No longer are the main shops in these areas based on purchasing necessities but wants such as baked goods, clothing, and candles. Buying and selling as a means of control, change, and oppression are topics I want to work into my piece. This concept has inspired me to use items such as for sale signs, real estate rental sites (Zillow, MLS, Craigslist), and store locations that signify that process of gentrification within my piece.
My personal connection to gentrification is complex and I think it adds a unique perspective to this dialogue. I live Downtown and my family is in real estate. When I moved Downtown I began exploring the Arts District, Silverlake, Echo Park, and parts of Boyle Heights. I enjoyed trying the new restaurants and going to the shops and connected with young people moving to these areas. Like most people now living there, I blindly enjoyed the “fruits of gentrification”.
I really enjoy taking long walks and sometimes would walk from the Financial District Downtown to either the Arts District or the park in Echo Park. Walking in both directions it was, and continues to be, astounding to me the wealth gap that occurs within a few blocks. From the Financial District to the Arts District I would have to pass Skid Row. Constantly walking through Skid Row, I became engrossed in this concept of Skid Row being in the middle. Skid Row sits in between the Financial and Arts districts and it seems as though it is only a matter of time before that area too becomes developed. I began to wonder, if Skid Row was gentrified where would these people go? Similarly, on my walks from the Financial District to Echo Park I would pass tents alongside the freeway entrances and wore-down buildings that had recently been plastered with For Sale, Sold or Leased signs. Again, I began to wonder where will these people go? Within the park or walking along the streets of Echo Park and Silverlake there are small storefronts that are still owned by the people who were there pre-gentrification. Although, the Latino culture and population is quickly being pushed out. Boyle Heights, on the other hand, is trying to resist this “whitewashing” and the process of “artwashing”.
The process of pushing out is another thing I began to reflect on, as millennials can no longer afford real estate in areas such as the Westside of Los Angeles they continue to move further East and as the Eastside becomes more expensive they move further out. As these, predominantly young white people move the areas begin to change to appeal to them. Then the people living there are forced to move and are pushed out of their homes where they have been forever and are losing their culture. At the same time, the homeless are too being pushed out. This connected for me with the idea of Manifest Destiny and the idea that white Americans have continued to push out people native to an area, such as Native Americans (or American Indians). Not only can the change in population and prices be seen within the area, but it is also quantified in the changes of the market, “It was inevitable that art galleries would ford the Los Angeles River into Boyle Heights. The Arts District, a formerly decrepit section of downtown, has been growing more expensive; Annenberg Media found that rents rose 140 percent in parts of the neighborhood in the first 14 years of the new millennium. Between 2000 and 2012, rents in all of Los Angeles County also rose, but at the much slower rate of 25 percent” (Nazaryan). As one area becomes unaffordable it pushes out to the next.
I still struggle to see where my position is within this process. I go to the shops and restaurants because they are what is convenient to me and therefore what I have access to. Although, I also am aware of the negative impact gentrification has on the local communities. I still am struggling with the questions of, What is my role? and What can I do to help?. In this piece, I hope to not provide an answer to these questions but to complicate gentrification as something that can be appealing to consumers but also harmful to culture and the people who have lived in an area that is now being taken over.
This concept of questioning what is my role or the viewer’s role in gentrification is central to my piece. I want to create a webpage where I have a home screen that adds images through the viewers’ engagement in clicking. My rough plan is for the home screen to be a historical image of the Eastside of Los Angeles. Then it switches to an image from around ten to fifteen years ago, pre-gentrification. As the viewer clicks again, “For Sale,” “Sold” and “Leased” signs pop-up. Then when they click again the screen becomes white, as a symbol for the area being white-washed. With each click images pop up on the screen: stores and brands, real estate ads, charts of real estate prices going up, moving boxes, and press and social media about the area. All these images on the white background will create a collage of gentrification. Then the screen will go white again. I then want to turn to the larger issue of America and manifest destiny. I will depict this through putting a historical image of America, the viewer will click and the image will be covered by an opaque overlay of John Gast’s painting “American Progress” to symbolize manifest destiny. Then I want to move back to the present by having the viewer click on for it to be covered in white. Then the white is covered by gentrification resistance art. The viewer than clicks and a coffee cup appears, symbolizing the consumer aspect of gentrification. If I can find a way I would like to have the coffee cup image move to look like the viewer is taking a sip. My intention is that by then end of the piece the viewer will be left questioning their role in this process.
For technical skills, I will need to use Photoshop, possibly photography in which I would use my iPhone to take photos of gentrified places or examples of gentrification, as well as HTML and CSS. My project will be hosted on a website in which I will purchase a domain. I am still debating if clicking to add, subtract and change the page. This idea in part came to me from the net art piece of things multiplying on the homescreen of a computer. While I think clicking may be annoying or frustrating for the viewer, I like the concept of the viewer feeling a connection with the implications of gentrification.

Digging further into KafkaProducer - Tuning batch.size and linger.ms
Hi. Several months ago, I posted a deep dive into the anatomy of Kafka Producer. (Much like what Christopher-Stoll had done to Pokemons.)
This is a follow-up to that post but focusing only on how the Producer accumulates data in memory and send it to the network. This is so that it can give you better clarity in tuning producer configurations for better scaling.
Let's get back to our curious monkey and elephant on their journey.
Master! We need more throughput from Kafka. How can we squeeze more out of it?
Hmm.. For any distributed system, it always helps to do the following:
Understand the overview of its system architecture
Have a look at every single configuration it has and spot what you can tune with safe assumptions at first and then keep tweaking by experimenting with different values.
If still not helping, then it's time to do such deep diving to find where is the bottleneck.
For Kafka, I found it helpful to tweak these three configurations:
batch.size
Kafka can accumulate multiple records of a particular topic-partition in batches and send multiple batches of records together instead of sending individual records.
batch.size sets the maximum size for a single batch.
Once this size is reached, the batch will be sent over the network if the Sender thread is free.
linger.ms
linger.ms determines how long since a batch was created must it linger in memory before being sent over the network IFF the batch hasn't reached batch.size yet.
This means we introduce a latency of at least linger.ms if the rate of producing is too slow for batches to reach batch.size within this time.
IF you have a high latency between your producer and broker nodes, you can increase linger.ms and batch.size to pile up and send bigger batches for efficient throughput.
max.request.size
This specifies the maximum size of a single request to a broker node.
Because a broker node can be leader for multiple topic-partitions, the producer will group the batches for those partitions together and send them in a single request.
This setting acts as an upper bound for a request containing multiple batches for a broker node.
That's was very informative.. .. but quite terse like all your previous explanations 😒..
Ok. I hear this complaint a lot. This time I will explain with diagrams. I tried my best to lay out the RecordAccumulator architecture.
A quick overview first
When you send a message using KafkaProducer, it stores them in RecordAccumulator in batches.
Whenever a batch reaches its batch.size, the RecordAccumulator will notify the Sender thread.
If the Sender thread is not busy sending data, it will look for batches that are ready to send (full size batches or smaller batches that have lingered longer than linger.ms)
The Sender thread will send the batch to appropriate broker node which is leader for that batch.
Configurations At Play..
In this diagram, I demonstrate a fictional situation over 60ms period in KafkaProducer for explaining purpose.
Kafka setup:
2 Topics
Topic1 has 2 partitions
Topic2 has 1 partition
2 Brokers
Broker1 is leader for Topic1-Partition1
Broker2 is leader for Topic1-Partition2 and Topic2-Partition1
Configurations:
batch.size = 15kB
linger.ms = 20ms
The RecordAccumulator holds a concurrent map where keys are TopicPartitions and values are Queues of associated batches.
Topic1-Partition1 between 0 and 30ms timelines:
Topic1-Partition1 continuously receives lot of messages (about 24kB) in this period.
Because batch.size is 15kB, it is accumulated as two batches in the queue for Topic1-Partition1
As soon as Batch1 is filled, RecordAccumulator notifies Sender thread just in case it is idle.
At 20ms timeline, the Sender is indeed idle, so it will start sending this batch over the network to its leader node Broker1.
Topic1-Partition2 between 0 and 30ms timelines:
Topic1-Partition2 receives a full batch of messages between 10 and 30ms timeline and RecordAccumulator notifies Sender that batch is full.
If the Sender had already finished sending Batch1, it'll pick up and send Batch4 to its leader Broker2
Topic2-Partition1 received only 9kB of messages so the Batch5 just lingers in memory similar to Batch2
Between 30 and 60ms timelines:
In this example, the Sender got free of things to do at 40ms timeline. So it looks around for any batches to send.
It notices that the Batch2 and Batch5 were lingering in memory longer than the configured limit of 20ms or more so it picks them up and sends them to their appropriate leaders.
I leave the possibilities of Batch3's fate to your imagination.
Wow! Now we can tweak these configurations with this understanding! Arigatou Sensei!
Great! It would also help to note the following learnings.
Measure how long it takes for your messages to be delivered between producer and consumer. If latency is negligible, you don't need to worry much.
I faced where there was high latency between Producer and Broker nodes because they are in separate faraway physical locations. The Producer frequently sent data to Broker and it hurt throughput.
To solve that, I set a large enough value for batch.size, linger.ms and max.request.size. This will make Producer wait, accumulate and send bigger bulk of data instead of being chatty. But not too large enough that it slows down everything.
Make sure the bandwith of your network is big enough to accommodate such large payload. And check your broker configurations too whether they can receive your payload and tweak as per your needs.
P.S. Influences for the extravagant style of this article come from the following :)

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE TAG AND THE MENTION OMGS!
Anyway back on the important thing: this is SO interesting, I wasn’t able to find anything more than few definitions and only knew the rule from the times I played ages ago so THANK YOU!!
Very, very interesting and I had no idea that a? Serie? Spin off? About them animals fighting a common evil aka the dragon, existed! It actually would make a lot of sense if they were actually meant to defeat the same enemy but they were trying to do so in different ways and while stay in different factions AND without knowing what the others are up to-
Also there’s a dragon so maybe is D&D? Ahahah don’t know really and probably not since it’s not useful to have TWO of the same classes so mmmhhh maybe the dragon is a japanese addition?
So many questions with still no answer, I guess we’ll just have to wait, but at least we know that the ending DOES HAVE a meaning, which is super cool, fantasy ending with secrets “spoilers” are the best, honestly!
And yeah Asuto not being part of the main trio and just being a wolf is? Actually very interesting?? I’m really hoping for him to have a more active and important role since he basically did nothing up until now- and maybe this is the reason why Level5 is momentarily (I firmly believe they’ll be back) the original break trio. Their absence could be the key point for the plot to move forward and who knows, maybe Kidou will plan something while away!
Anyway thank you again for the tag dear, I really appreciated your furter analysis of this topic!! It’s always useful and it was ssssssooo interesting and pleasing to read 💕💕
Also maybe you guys will be interested! @pilica-nevarya @shawn-and-aiden-frost-9 @xxlovelyrose95xx @lunemarii @inazuma-eleven-translations
“The village goes to sleep”
I had been thinking about making a post about how the Orion ending resembles a game I’ve played as a little girl, but @inazumafocus already did here, so instead of repeating what they already said, I’d like to add more speculation about the ending, the characters and the game !!!!
You can read about the game here (and should probably read @inazumafocus‘s post too bc maybe you won’t understand a thing about what I’m saying).
I have played different versions of this game (many different versions; every time I play there’s different characters to play). In my country we call it “the village goes to sleep”, and I’ve gone through some pages to see which’s characters they didn’t mention in the other post, since there’s so many versions and kazemaru/shirou and tatsuya/nishikage didn’t have any roles yet, and I’ve found these:
cupid: has the ability to bring two people together (could be kazemaru and shirou, taking in account their ornaments, and !! they have always been known for their charm. this rings so many bells !!! and kazemaru has already tried to tone kidou down when he was fighting ichihoshi !! they aren’t drawn towards conflict. rather, they tend to tone it down and make everyone understand each other.)
lone wolf: the lone wolves are WHITE WOLVES (kazemaru/shirou) and they can haunt once every two nights by themselves and they have to kill another wolf.
the fortune teller (!!!!!!): every night, she can ask to know another character’s identity. this is very interesting because tatsuya and nishikage are asian-themed cats, and an asian worldwide known fortune teller is the maneki neko!! i think tatsuya even is doing the paw gesture
and others:
the little girl !!!!!!!!!!: SUPER IMPORTANT !!!!!! this girl can wake up while the wolves are attacking and see who they are !!! she’s the girl who comments on every match !!!!
the sheriff: this person’s vote to kill or save someone counts double ! (the coaches??? i mean???)
the lovers: two people that have beenbrought together by cupid. if the lovers are part of “different teams” (werewolves and villagers) they will form a third team that will try to take everyone else down. if one lover dies, the other dies too.
the savior: can protect one player each night so the werewolves don’t kill them (natsumi maybe??)
the witch: has two potions: one to kill someone, one to save someone (NATSUMI MAYBE, TOO? MAYBE SHE COMES BACK AND KILLS SOMEONE)
The last three might not be relevant right now bc these characters haven’t shown up, but i’m pretty sure they could appear any time, now. There’s many other cards, too. You can find them here.
Besides all this, I want to add a bit of character analysis that I love about each character and why they have been put together, because everyone in this list has a similar role to their counterpart, and I’ve always seen and loved this so much:
First off, lets say that in every inazuma series there’s been the same characters but with different names, looks and backgrounds. There’s the big three: body, head, soul, who happen to be the main characters most of the time. There’s the supportive, pretty, smart best friend. There’s the managers. There’s the second soul. There’s the friendly antagonist. And so on.
Endou and Goujin: the soul of the “principal trio”. Tenma would be here, and Asuto in a normal situation would, too, which’s why it’s so interesting that he’s not part of the “body/head/soul” trope.
Kidou, Nosaka: the head of the principal trio. The analysts, always two steps before everyone.
Gouenji and Haizaki: the body. The protectors. Will attack if endangered, care too much about their loved ones.
Tatsuya and Nishikage: both of them are crystal clear, natural protectors. they care more about their loved ones than they care about themselves, and would do anything for them.
Fudou and Hiroto: smart troublemakers that have a “hidden” good heart, but need to be brought to the good side of things.
Hiura and Osamu: i’m SUPER surprised by this choice, since hiura should’ve been with kazemaru and shirou (or them with him…). These two are characters that are forgotten about most of the time, but who are smart and can see through people’s walls.
If this were the original series and there weren’t other main characters (the new raimon, asuto, ichihoshi, haizaki), the break trio, kazemaru, shirou, tatsuya, and the other old characters would be the ones with leading roles, and i think that’s why there’s pairings of cards, why there’s so many team members (i have the suspicion that not only the break trio will leave the team, but those who have already been in the original): so the new characters can take the leading roles and guide the plot.
Finally:
Asuto and Ichihoshi: IT’S SO ! INTERESTING ! THAT ASUTO !! ISN’T THE SOUL!! OF THE PRINCIPAL TRIO !! HE SHOULD’VE BEEN !! To explain them, i have to say that:
i think we could be thinking of the wrong game, because see:
They ARE playing something about wolves. The black and light brown wolves are Ichihoshi and Asuto (they have their eyes???????? and the shape of their hair?????) and if this were lupus in fabula, asuto would be teaming up with the “bad guys” (which could happen !!!! he might want to be in ichihoshi’s side !!!!) but to me it’d be more interesting if, being ichihoshi one of the wolves, asuto turned into one and betrayed the village (the team) to fight the dragon that ichihoshi has been trying to take down all long.
They will both be werewolves working for different sides, and they both will turn their backs on their teams to be able to fight a bigger enemy.
There has to be a game out there we don’t know about that is EXACTLY THIS. beacuse, see, they are fighting a greater evil: the dragon. the dragon has to be a character we still know nothing about, someone behind the orion thing. i’m sure of this. they will have to team up to fight the dragon and save everyone else. or maybe there’s a version of the game in which they have to fight a dragon??? and the werewolves and villagers have to ally???
And !!! here’s nosaka !!! he’ll appear just in time to save everyone from the devil:

Yokai Watch Translations: Yagyō’s gender
(Yagyō can be alternatively spelled Yagyou, or even Yagyo, and some fans spell it as Yako or Yakyo and the like)
This is a bit different from what I usually do, in that I won’t really be translation and/or comparing something, but do a bit more explaining.
I´m making this because I have had multiple people ask me this question:
“Is Yagyō non-binary/agender?”
And I think it’s important that some confusion about this would be cleared up, so I will attempt to do that.
First let’s get the important thing out of the way, which is my answer to the question:
“I don’t know.”
This may seem a tad anti-climatic but yeah, I don’t actually know, BUT, the important part of this is gonna be my explanation of WHY I don’t know.
Because you see, the way things that may indicate gender work is slightly different in japanese than it is in english.
What I´m going to do here is, I will briefly go through what I believe is the two “primary” indicators of a character’s gender, explain a bit about them, and if they apply to Yagyō.
After that I will do the same with what I consider “secondary” indicators of a character’s gender.
And lastly I´ll give my final thoughts on the matter.
--
1. Direct Statement
Of course the main indicator of a character’s gender is the character themselves going “I´m *insert gender*”, or maybe even just “I´m *insert gendered word.*”.
Note that in the case of the latter, what is a gendered word in english may not be a gendered word in japanese, so always double check if youre going to use something like that as “canon” evidence.
But of course it’s usually up to luck wether a character actually says something like this or not, so things often aren’t that easy. I haven’t seen any instances of Yagyō using a gendered word like that to refer to themselves.
Enma technically says:
“ それでいて 「新たな王」 などと よく言えたものだな! And calling yourself the “new king” despite all that! “
But it seems to be directed at all three of them, so I personally would say it’s not a definite indicator. Plus I am not certain if “王“ would exclusively refer to male monarchs in japanese.
--
2. Third Person Pronouns
This is the part where some of you may say:
“But kaialone, you use they/them pronouns to refer to Yagyō, both here and in your translations, clearly this settles it, right?”,
but let me explain why it doesn’t.
For starters, in the japanese language, you can often actually leave out the subject of a sentence, as long as the subject is known.
In english similar stuff can exist, for example giving a short reply like “Making toast!” to the question “What are you doing?”. In this case there is no definite need to go “I am making toast”, cause it is well understood that the subject of the sentece is “I”.
And basically in japanese this kinda stuff happens all the time, and as a result you can end up with characters never getting referred to with a third person pronoun at all, especially if their appearances are brief, like most yokai.
Adding to that, the relation of third person pronouns and genders work slightly different in japanese, too.
“Kare” and “Kanojo” meaning “he” and “she” respectively are used as gendered pronouns nowadays, but this is actually a rather recent thing in the language. I don’t know the exact time, but according to wikipedia usage of them as pronouns started to become common around the Meiji era (roughly 1868-1912).
And, from what I have heard and seen, they’re still not used as frequently as we use he or she in english. Depending on the context it can even seem rude or awkward to use them. (Rudeness and Politeness of certain words can vary greatly depending on the context, for example who you’re talking to, in japanese.) People are more likely to just use the names or titles of others when referring to them.
Because of that, you often end up with characters not being refered to with gendered third person pronouns either.
You may also see people getting referred to with gender neutral terms like “Aitsu/Koitsu/Soitsu”, or “Ano Hito”
“Aitsu/Koitsu/Soitsu” could literally be translated as like “this/that one”. (When not referring to a person you might translate them as “it”.) It’s considered rude to use to refer to someone, unless it’s someone you’re close to who is okay with you using it for them.
(Note though that in fiction characters tend to use rude language like that more casually, so you´ll probably still hear people use them rather frequently in anime and such.)
“Ano Hito” and variations of it just mean “That person”, and you might see it be used in a manner like a pronoun.
So, because of all this, a person may be refered to in a gender neutral manner regardless of their actual gender.
Thus, gendered pronouns like “kare” or “kanojo” could be used to confirm that a character is male or female, but the same tactic doesn't work to confirm a character’s lack of being female or male.
As for Yagyō, in all the texts I have seen they are never referred to with a third person pronoun. The closest thing I can find is Nekokiyo referring to them as “ あの者/Ano Mono“, which means “That person”.
For the reference, yes, Nekokiyo could have technically referred to Yagyō as kare or kanojo if they were a man or woman respectively. However the fact that he didn’t, by itself, is not certain evidence that Yagyō is neither of those.
So, going back to the very start of this section and my choice to refer Yagyō as “they/them” in my translations. It is just that, my own choice.
When translating a japanese text, you may end up with a character that is never referred to by gender directly, yet you will have to decide on what pronouns to use for them, because the english language can’t ommit pronouns completely like the japanese language can. So sometimes translators are just forced to just make a guess like that.
I chose “they/them” for Yagyō because to me this seems appropiate for a character whose gender I am uncertain about.
--
Now; these two are really the “main things” that can be used to indicate gender, I believe. But there is still some secondary indicators that people may use.
--
3. First Person Pronouns
In japanese there is more than one first person pronoun, i.e. more than one word for “I/me”.
Some of these first person pronouns are gendered, in that traditionally, only people of a certain gender (and/or sex) are expected to use certain ones, and using pronouns that aren’t associated with one’s gender (and/or sex) might be frowned upon in certain circles.
Yagyō uses the pronoun わたし/Watashi to refer to themselves.
Watashi is a formal, gender neutral pronoun. However, overall it is used more by women than it is by men. (See the statistics on the page I linked there.)
In fiction this seems to be basically the “standard” pronoun for women and girls, you’ll probably see them using that the most, but men use it too, more frequently than they seem to do in real life, even.
To give you an idea of how wide the spectrum of characters using this pronoun can be, here is some examples of Yokai Watch characters using it:
Katie, Inaho, Dr. Maddiman, McKraken, GoGoGo Godfather, Damona, Unkaind, Venoct...
Just to name a few that I can think of on top of my head.
--
4. General Speaking Style
If you wanna read a bit more about this, Wikipedia has an article on it, but to summarize:
There are different speaking styles in japanese, and some are considered “harsher” or “softer” than others, with the harsher styles being considered masculine and the softer ones being considered feminine. (Note that this a very simplified explanation.)
There is a lot more than that too, there is speaking styles that are associated with old people, children, old-fashioned people, and much more, though a lot of that mostly applies to fiction which tends to exaggerate these things even more.
As a result you can often learn a lot about what kinda character one is supposed to be just by reading a bit of their dialouge.
From what I can tell, during the Enma Note quest, Yagyō uses a more informal, harsh, masculine speaking style, but during more peaceful situations, like getting them in a trade or meeting them at the Streetpass buildings, they use a more formal, polite, neutral speaking style.
--
Final Thoughts:
First a little bit of warning:
Note that all these “indicators” of a character’s gender are still not 100% fool-proof, even the “primary” ones.
For example, technically even a character literally stating their own gender could be a result of them not telling the truth, for various reasons, and any instances of other characters referring to them as a certain gender can be a result of them not knowing any better, or even misgendering them.
So, if someone headcanons a character as a different gender than what you think they are based on evidence you’ve seen, this doesn’t mean the person in question is automatically “wrong” about this.
And when it comes to Yagyō, you may say:
“Well at every section of this you said that you don’t think anything is definite proof for their gender, but if nothing indicates that they are male or female, isn’t that like proof that they’re non-binary, presumably agender?”,
and well, it does make it more likely, but it doesn’t prove it.
I personally like to think that Yagyō is non-binary, and I´m happy to see that there doesn’t seem to be anything disproving it from what I can tell, but it’s still just a headcanon.
It is important to make the distinction, mainly because saying it’s confirmed is giving level5 credit for something they didn’t really do.
Maybe they specifically intended for Yagyō to be gender-neutral, maybe they didn’t. But for something that is this important, you shouldn’t say they did unless you know for sure that they did.
Be happy at the thought that they might have, if you want to, but don’t act like it’s a fact. They honestly don’t deserve the credit unless they are explicit about it.
Personally, I honestly believe they probably did not intent for them to be non-binary, if I had to guess I’d say they probably intended for them to be male... But hey, maybe that is just me being pessimistic.
Either way, I hope this cleared some confusion?
Feel free to send me your throughts, opinions and corrections.

It’s so funny that the italian subs (tho not perfect) came out before all the others this time AHAH! Anyway I liked this ep~
Fudou in the first screen is such a mood, he’s so done with the coache’s bullshit and fucking SAME! Like, I’ve been annoyed by the “sense of humor” they gave him since the beginning of Ares but, seriously Level5? The same joke AGAIN for the fourth time? He’s just gross -.- ans why dis he call them there if he hadn’t a video to begin with? At least in OG Megane had a video of them playing at the beach lmao he menaged to do SOMETHING! This time was just bad writing imho-
But then again we had Fudou training by running all alone like in OG and that just goes to fuel my personal hc of him weaking up vvvvvvery early just to run and relax himself👌🏻
And then we have the scene with Ichihoshi!! And boy do I love that evil piece of shit, or as Fudou called him in that screen “fucking double agent kid”. Fudou was... so good in that scene, seein right through him with his attempt of putting Hiroto against Haizaki and then asking him to “entertain him” because the team lacks of imputs. I just HHHHHHHHHH AND HIS VOICE REACHED AN ALL TIME LOW IT WAS SO SMOOTH LIKE DAMN SON!!!!!!!!!
And nothing I love Fudou so much and I love Ichihoshi SO MUCH! I want him to wreak havoc, bring chaos and entertain me just like Fudou said AHAHAHA
I mean there’s absolutely nothing to worry about! Endou will be fine, Kidou as well. IF they’ll get injured they’ll be back (and I mean, I’m a Kidou stan, yet I’m super chill about this whole situation) and eventually Ichihoshi will be saved by frienship and sakka. I mean have you watched OG and/or GO? That’s what happens to “bad guys” here. And Ichihoshi was obviously accepted in the InaJapan so he will be converted and then help them against Orion.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy~
#nene rambles#fudou akio#ichihoshi mitsuru#seal of orion#inazuma eleven#i have a playlist for Ichihoshi and I’m not even kidding#lovw the guy so much

About my post on GO characters in Ares
Yall guys have missed my point.
I’m sorry you took a simple 5am post at heart, but here’s what I was trying to say:
The GO characters of the current timeline CANNOT be a part of a playing team because they are toddlers, I never said they can’t make an appearance as kids, I was just pointing out how, for what we’ve seen, seeing them play would be unlikely. Like, no, Kirino can’t play beacuse he’s a 3yo currently.
And yes, you’ve all pointed out that they have the magic time travel caravan, I’m aware of it, but let’s stay objective here.
1) This is a completely different universe, with some things from the OG that never happened or that went in others directions. So we don’t know yet where Level5 will stand about GO characters and arcs.
2) Hino said that with Ares and the upcomig Orion they want to stay more down to earth, so no aliens, no time travel, no nothing. We’ll have to wait and see if he’ll stay up to his words or not (yes they also said that Kappas will be back, that’s still not a valuable counter argument)!
3) I believe that if they want to re-introduce the old GO characters, they’ll do it in a more appropiate and respectful way both for them and for the fans that love them! So maybe after Orion there will be a time skip of then years like in the OG or who knows what, but wouldn’t it be more rewarding to have a series dedicated to GO instead of throwing them in the mix and giving them bad characterisation and little to none screen time?
So yeah, this is it, I’m sorry if you felt my post was being mean in any way, it wasn’t my intention,
Kisses~🌸

Kogure Yuuya analysis
Hello dearies and welcome back to the only serious part of my blog: the analysis YAY!
Today we will dive into another misunderstood minor character of Inazuma Eleven: Kogure Yuuya requested by @ygreczed (hopre this is what you were looking fooor hng)
First thing first: we all have to be more understanding of ages. I know it can be quite hard, but we really have to take a step back and ask ourselves “do I really have to attack a twelve years old boy for acting childish?” because, lets face it, we reeeeally tend to forget how being kids was as we grow old and we end up being like those strict adults from which we felt so misunderstood back in the days. By saying this I obviously don’t mean that everything has to be forgiven and that kids should be kids, lash out and behave as spoiled brats, but that everything should be considered and analyzed in its own context. Now, let’s go!
We first meet Kogure during the Aliea arch when Raimon goes to talk with Team Manyuuji. He’s always doing boring chores and errands instead of playing like he wishes he could.
From his point of view, that is the one of a child, everything’s done to him as a spite, it means that his teammates don’t like him, and he doesn’t stop to question a possible motif behind everything. Exactly like when a kid is punished by their parents for something they did. I, having younger siblings, have seen first hand that children don’t stop to reflect, if you punish them then you’re mean. And that is why communication is so important! Kogure’s team, as many parents do, acts without explaining, with the best of intentions, of course, since they care for him, but doing so they prevent him from understanding exactly where and what he did wrong.
He just goes on thinking they all hate him for some unknown reason, so they’re mean and what do kids to someone who’s mean to them?
Pranks.
Later on, it’s explained to us that he suffered greatly as a small child, being abandoned by his mother during a trip and this enlighten us even more on why he is so much more prone to see others as malicious than any other kid. His trust has been severely damaged by the one who should’ve been the closest to him, so obviously, if he she betrayed him, why shouldn’t everybody else?
Aki: "but why does he find so hard to trust others?" Captain: "apparently, Kogure was betrayed by his parents when he was young. after that he lost his ability to trust anyone"
Things begins to change when Otonashi arrives and does what his team should’ve done ages before: confronts him heads on, no filter, but also with kindness. Because sure, what he was doing wasn’t right and had to be stopped but he was also a scared, lonely kid who needed to feel the warmth of another’s sympathy. (You can understand a situation, disagree with how someone’s acting and still try to have tact towards them to get them to change their curse of action, remember that folks)
Haruna: "that doesn't give you a right to do this. everyone's making you do all of that because they care about you! They're putting you through training again because they want you to become even stronger!”
And she doesn’t stop there, she says what Kogure was probably waiting for since forever:
“I believe in you”
Just look at how surprised he is
By putting her trust in him she demonstrates to that lost boy, and to everybody else, that he is human, not only a mean prankster, he is a kid and as such he deserves to be relied on and pushed forward to improvement of his self.
And not surprisingly at all, it works! Sure, he still does pranks to basically everyone but those are no longer a mean to an end, a tool to get back at people for being mean, they’re just regular annoying pranks and he’s scolded for them
(except that one time to Someoka, there he did it because he once again didn’t understand that Some was trying to give him an advice. Poor Someoka).
With Raimon he begins to feel part of something. The whole team compliments him on their first match together and he couldn’t be happier! Look at him being a child who has received praise for the first time in his life, look at him.
Slowly they become his family, he cares for them and wants to help as he can even when he doesn’t have a direct connection as shown in the fight against the Dark Emperors
and he is even able to create a combined hissatsu with tsunami and Touko!
His learning trip continues during the FFI arch where we can see him growing a special bond with Kurimatsu and Kabeyama, hanging out with them most of the times,
but also how willing and determined he is to help Tachimukai out.
Sure, he was the one to put our dear first year keeper in such an uncomfortable position, but what he said to him wasn’t exactly wrong. It was rude, of course and he was scolded, but somehow it was the right thing to say to make Tachimukai want to challenge himself.
We can also see how quicker he is to understand his mistakes, even if he’s still learning to behave.
And in the end, he’s so happy when Tachi actually pulls off his own new hissatsu!
He’s also a very good player. His stamina is remarkable as shown in the second season
and during the match against Argentina he was one of they key that brought Inazuma Japan to break that impenetrable defense, so kudos to him for not giving in!
Fuyuka: "don't tell me you're giving up already!"
Fuyuka: "so what? no matter what happens, you never give up, isn't that Inazuma Japan's soccer?! [...] you've got to stand up once more!”
More kudos to Level5 for showing us not only his confident prankster side but also the child that needs someone to teach him and that just wants to have fun with the only family he has: his friends.
He has still much to learn but his achievements were rewarded by gaining the title of Captain once he went back home to Manyuuji. Imagine how happy and proud must have been that once lonely, wary child. And it gets better! In Inazuma Eleven GO ep 21 we are shown a grownup Kogure. He’s more mature,
works for a top-class company (as stated by Kidou)
and most importantly: he shows with WORDS how much he cares for his new team, for his friends!
I hope this was of some help to you all and I will see you in the next analysis

Level Five and believers of President Hino are nothing but administrators, but from the time of announcing the snack world two years ago, before the snack world feels "possibilities", somehow the snack world is popular, Will not it popular more explosively? I thought. So I came up with making this blog and trying to distribute videos on YouTube. Among those who have seen this article, those who have wisdom to become able to sell snackworld, by all means please post in the comments section. Comments received in this article Timing and order are useless. It seems to be hard, but this is important for media cloth. Season is important together with the squid, and the key to how to deal with it quickly after coming out on the TV is the key. If you mock here, you will want to watch Monjan animation and Digimon. Awareness is overwhelmingly low. I do not know who to talk to. Did you watch anime yesterday? Even if I ask you what? Feeling You can not sell it if you say whether you can sell or not. Because boring Just who is jealous of L5 is mad. The snack world is absolutely popular. Even if it says that it is just popular, it is just a shameless If you can price Tre Jarab box possible, I would like you to drop it down again. For example, half of the current price ... or something. I thought that it was definitely popular. The game is next month. Then is the flow changing? After all, 20th of Pokemon is really exciting.

The snack world 3ds #snackworld #スナックワールド #snackworld3ds #thesnackworld3ds #3ds #thesnackworld #Level5 #kingdevinjoseph #kingdevin #Nintendo The delivery date of the snack world (April) was decided, and the new character "Carbonara" was added! What do you want today? It is direction and manager of the carbonara! There are rumors that will discount weapons depending on the mood, but how is it actually? Always want to take a good mood to sell weapons cheaply even a little ♪ Does that mean that the mood gets better if you give it a specific item? I would like to investigate when the snack world is delivered! But Snack World has a lot of fun pals coming up! Since the delivery date is in April of 2017, I think there is still more exposure of new information and I am very much looking forward to what kind of expansion will be in the future ♪
