So, here's a cheeky thought about foreshadowing in season 1 of Arcane. I'm personally of the mind that we're heading towards a Jinx/Ekko/Cait/Vi team-up at the end of season 2. (Of course, when I start to talk about Arcane season 2, I begin by talking about the end of the show.) I might expand later on how I feel the final battle might unfold more specifically, but for now, I'm wondering if a team-up between Jinx/Ekko/Cait/Vi is foreshadowed in the first two episodes when Jayce's apartment was blown up. In a way, each of them had a role in the domino effect that caused the explosion, including Jayce (so maybe he's part of the team up). I just don't think it's a coincidence that five League champions all had something to do, big or small, with the eventual explosion.

Ekko followed Jayce to his apartment and told Vi about the job. Vi led the gang there and, after Mylo took too long, broke into the apartment. Caitlyn dropped an object/artifact in the building hallway, alerting Vi and drawing her attention to the door. Jayce starts to unlock his apartment, causing Vi to jam the chair under said door and rush everyone out. The hasty escape causes Jinx (Powder) to drop the gemstone, which explodes and destroys Jayce's apartment. All four of them kicked off the story together, they'll each have a hand in ending the story together.

For me, the wildcard here is Jayce, even though he has an action (trigger/event) in the sequence of events. He feels disjointed from the rest of the group, I'm not quite sure how to articulate why, and part of me wonders if he's on the same path as the rest of them in season 2. Either way, if he is part of the team up, that would make five people, kind of like a League team...

If there's one thing Cleo didn't expect, it was turning human in a zombie apocalypse.

She’d died a zombie. All the usual bits out of place in the way they always were -really, their decaying body wasn’t that hard to keep running once they figured out how to tell the difference between this decay spot needs air and this decay spot needs to be wrapped for a few weeks. Not feeling anything helped.

Unfortunately, having an extra exit for the water in their lungs didn’t help when there was no air around to replace it.

Bonus mental note: they still have to breathe.

They’d meant to test that one in a more controlled environment eventually but answers are answers they suppose.

When Cleo wakes up, breathing sharply for a few moments, she knows instantly that something’s off.

Her left lung usually makes a hissing sound when she breathes- stray arrows, everyone’s been there. And it doesn’t feel. Neither of them do. Or at least, they didn’t.

She goes to touch her lung. On a bad day, one where her body seems extra keen on decaying, she’s found a quick lung squeeze can help the air go in and out a little easier. She's become quite adept at blood and guts. Mostly her own.

Sighing, and closing their eyes to focus on ignoring the nauseating waves of pain, they put their fingers to their ribs, poking for any exit or entrance wounds. Somewhere to just get in and get after it. After a moment, they frown, and look down. It’s rare they’re completely healed and they’d been pretty sure there was an unhealed arrow wound somewhere in the chest area.

There’s skin.

Cleo opens their mouth but, before making a noise, decides that having skin is something people don’t scream about. She sits there for a moment, and brings a hand up to her face. Her mouth feels weird too now that she’s thinking about it. There's no more breeze from her left cheek filtering over her teeth when she moves.

“Huh.”

All of a sudden, her stomach rumbles and she pinpoints one source of the pain in her... everywhere. Hunger.

It’s jarring. And it seems to only get worse when she names it. Her stomach is cramping from its emptiness and it sends waves of pain through her lungs, stuttering her breathing. Breathing that she was already having trouble with.

It’s been so long since her body has been this kind of a problem. It’s surprisingly easy to intuitive what her body needs when she can see some of her organs. Now it’s all guess work and her faint memories of being alive.

They struggle, using clumsy fingers to pull a piece of bread out of their bag. When it hits their tongue, surprised and overwhelmed tears well in their eyes. It tastes. It’s subtle. But it's there, it's so beautiful. And when it, and another piece, and another are down, they feel full.

They feel full.

Cleo laughs, and cries, and takes a singular bite out of an apple, not because they’re hungry, but because they can taste it. They can feel the crunch like before, but it's combined with the wash of sweet apple juice to her mouth like a golden sunset.

Before their face has dried they stand, knees and hips and bones protesting their skin as they grip the apple to bruising, relearning to walk. It’s the unworking of years of decay in all at once. They press on.

She looks in the mirror. There, in the midst of the pink flesh of her flushed face, yellow eyes.

Her blood, only recently renewed, runs cold. She narrows her eyes.

She may be human now, but there’s still a zombie apocalypse outside. They're dying quicker than her, victory is within her grasp.

They draw their sword, and step out into the sun. They can taste it.

Any of y'all remember Billy Batson had a girlfriend

I found out after looking through old comics and stuff online that apparently Billy Batson had a girlfriend at one point, Cissie Sommerly. I couldn't find much on her other than she was Mr. Morris's niece and that she had a younger brother named Peter, but she seems like a sweet girl.

I think it's adorable that Billy had a girlfriend back then and said "Holey Moley" when she kissed him, haha. I can't find anything else on her, and I don't think she even exists in canon anymore due to DC stuff, but I think it would be nice if she got a chance to meet him again in a new reality/universe.

I even drew a little sketch of my HCs of them :D

If anyone has any info on Cissie, let me know! I love learning more about older Captain Marvel characters and their stories!

Director Clavell Headcanons

I was going to drop something else but since I'm a bit under the weather I'm gonna give y'all some headcanons I have for him. This is all I got right now. I'm sure more will come forward in the future.

-Was active back in the day. Be it track, dancing, or both. The man is fast and nimble on his feet.

- Very open-minded. He wants to be on the same page with everyone. Would rather settle disputes through understanding and compromise than aggression.

- Even if he is a gentleman, he will not hesitate to tell a person when they've messed up major. He will be gentle about it of course but will rake a soul over the coals if need be.

- Doesn't resort to fisticuffs. His team takes care of any fighting that needs to be done. He team is strong and he knows very little mercy if angered. Don't piss him off.

 - Trusts his loved ones but can't help but worry sometimes. If he knows someone is struggling it takes great willpower for him not to drop everything and rush to their aid. If he can help them he will most definitely do so, but not at the expense of everyone else that's counting on him.

- Rather drink tea than coffee. Coffee gives him the jitters. Doesn't like it overly sweetened. Just one sugar and one milk. That's it. Does imbibe fruit blends every once in a while as a treat.

 - bland with his food. Very much a "would rather takes the food over the seasoning" kind of person. His favorite flavor profiles probably lie more with salty and dry.

 - Favors a neat and tidy appearance but very much values self expression. Has a fascination for people who dress contrary to their personality. (I.E. scary biker who is a huge teddy bear)

- Is no nonsense when it comes to work. Results are important and must be correct. He's understanding and helpful but does not appreciate one slacking off on duty.

-On his own, more vanilla than anything. He's a gentle lover and wants you both to feel good during. He makes sure you feel safe and loved in his embrace.

- Is totally open to new things. Will try anything once if his lover is into it.

I decided to rank the seven seasons of Bunk’d and wanted to share my reasoning with you all. Enjoy :)  

#7: Season 5 - Ok first what I do like about season 5: Noah and Ava’s friendship, the introduction of Parker, Kikiwaka Lore, Environmentalist Destiny. The rest is pretty firmly in the “leave it” category. For crying out loud there were three episodes where Lou, Noah and Matteo aren’t even at camp! Sadly I can’t say that I enjoyed any of the episodes. Sure there were pieces of most of them I liked (mainly Lou), but I wasn’t walking out of this season with any episodes I want to rewatch.

#6: Season 4 - Lou as head of the camp is great, and I liked how they showed her struggles to switch from a counselor to owner mindset, I wish it was for more than just the first episode. I like Gwen, I think as the writers figured out her character more, the better she got. The birth of Environmentalist Destiny is great this season, and made me start to like her character. Camp Champion and Barb are just not interesting to me so I disliked that there were FIVE episodes dedicated to them. The two part Ravens Home episode was SO weird. The romance between Ava’s brother and Lou was cute and I wish it was maintained off screen for more than one episode. Lou deserves love, I hate how the running joke all seven seasons is that she is unloveable (but that is a rant for another time). The Renaissance episode was quirky and actually kinda fun. The MAYOR arc was GOAT (literally 🤣). Lou joining a Coven of witches obsessed with humus was hilarious.  And I loved that this season really focused on Moose Rump and the great Moosetropolotin area. It set up Dusty Tush in seasons 6/7 rather well.

#5: Season 3 - Love the Rosses, did not love them running the camp. Glad we only got one season of it. Obviously I miss having the Ross kids around (I miss Karan’s performance the most), but the writers did an ok job writing their exit. Glad we got the opportunity to see Lou grow and all that Miranda brought to the character. If I had to sum up this season in one word it would be "meh".

#4: Season 7 - Honestly I am tempted to tie this with season 2, but will put it the tiniest bit below because of how much of a let down the final episodes are. With the finale coming up this week I have to say that over all I am a bit let down. I was really looking forward to this season given how much I loved season 6 and the new characters… but this one just wasn’t it. I think what helped season 6 play so well was the structure of the treasure hunt, without it we lacked continuity and a sense of urgency. The wedding plot honestly felt forced and rushed to me. While I do agree that Victoria and Parker make each other better they’re still  not my favorite couple so having the last several episodes be centered fully on them is a let down to say the least. It’s also important to take into account the writers strike that happened halfway through production, splitting the season into 2. Still I want to give props to Shiloh, Alfred and Luke as they did a great job joining the established cast and making the audience fall in love them. Mallory, Israel and Trevor continued to do an awesome job this season and of course my girl Miranda knocked it out of the park with every performance.

#3: Season 2 - Ranked this high because of how much I love the original cast. Though honestly I only really liked 14 out of the 21 episodes. Still I have a lot of nostalgia for this season and the episodes I did like I REALLY enjoyed! Plus it introduced us to Griff and developed more of the camp lore. The Kiki-Slasher episode in particular was hilarious and I loved the running Timmy bit through the first two seasons.

#2: Season 1 - The Nostalgia!!! I love every episode this season. The character growth is top tier and humor is great! The writers were excited to create this new world for the actors to play in and I just really enjoyed early days Camp Kikiwaka. I will watch this season all the way through with no skips unlike all the others (excluding season 6). It is great to see Payton, Skai and Karan reprise their characters and launch this show. I love Miranda and Kevin’s characters. This season really is a sturdy and solid foundation for the rest of the show.

My #1 Pick: Season 6 - Ok, I LOVE Winnie, Jake and Bill, they are my favorite of all the kids in every season. I adore seeing Destiny all grown up and her friendship with Noah is top tier. I love the new location. This is the season I have on repeat the most. The treasure hunt was a cute running plot. Lou is great this season and it is good to see Parker stepping up. I cannot speak highly enough of Shiloh, Alfred and Luke. They really stepped up to the plate and delivered great performances. All three of them are in my top eight Bunk’d characters (ranking coming soon).

Welcome to the "What the fuck is that theory?!"

Today I want to talk about DMC 2. What about it, you might ask; well my friend, I want to tell you of a theory that I have been thinking about constantly for the past week/week and a half.

What if, in DMC2, Dante isn't Dante; what if it's actually Vergil? Just--

Hear me out--

According to the actual DMC writers; DMC2 takes place after 4 (and I think 5 as well, for this we are going to say after any game in the series).

So maybe the reason Dante sounds so... off is because that's not Dante. It's Vergil masquerading as his brother.

This is rough but just--

What if Dante died when the twins were in hell?

Vergil in his grief and probable fucking mental breakdown would come back mimicking his brother; keeping the Devil May Cry going in his brother's name.

Maybe Dante even asked Vergil to take over the shop for him and bestowed his gear to him--including Rebellion.

Or (and here comes the crackhead and main theory) what if Argosax is Dante.

Vergil and Dante's story lines up almost perfectly with Mundus and Argosax, respectively. Mundus ate a Qliphoth fruit to become stronger than Argo; Vergil ate a Qliphoth fruit to become stronger than Dante.

So let's roll with Argosax somehow being Dante in DMC2;

⋗It would be really ironic that Argosax wouldn't talk when "normal" Dante won't stop talking.

⋗Argo's horns are similar to Dante's Sin DT and his body is similar.

⋗"Dante" is able to disappear during the last fight which is kind of more Vergil's thing--to be able to teleport.

⋗Although I know this is old and Dante's colors weren't all red; Ivory's charge color is blue.

⋗"Dante" doesn't look Argosax in the eye or say anything--not even "Jackpot". Argosax, on the other hand, looks at him; staring him down. Perhaps to try and plead with his older brother (who knows that there is nothing that can be done).

⋗Plus the symbolism of Ivory being used NOT Ebony; Ivory is the gun that Dante used in DMC3 where as Vergil used Ebony. It would have made a LOT more sense for "Dante" to use Ebony for that shot, but he didn't, he used Ivory--he used Dante's gun. Given, Dante does kind of smile buT perhaps it is because he is happy to free his brother of this curse (and that he won a fight against him lmfao)

⋗Rebellion hitting the ground at the end of the fight might be a metaphor for Dante being put to rest; the legend of the Sparda twins being put to bed. (It's also just a cool view by I digress)

All this comes to a head when "Dante" (or in this case, Vergil) decides to go to the underworld; seemingly unphased by the idea--which, again, would play into it being Vergil who spent most of his adult life in Hell. Perhaps to go and continue the fight? or maybe see if his brother is, in part, still alive like he was after being killed in DMC1.

I don't know, it would be an interesting way for them to retcon DMC2 into the time period they say it's from...

Instead of taking place between 1 and 4 like literally, everyone else thinks it does--including myself--and that Dante's just really fuckin' depressed lmao Please keep in mind, as I said, I do not personally think that this is how it should work-- I just thought it would be interesting to talk about. I'm sure that this has been talked about before and probs been beaten into the ground but I thought it was interesting lol.

I'm curious to know what anyone else thinks about this; does anyone else see what I'm getting at? Like I know I am kinda grasping at straws, but isn't that the whole basis of DMC lore to begin with lmfaooo Please let me know through the tags or comments what you think--I'd love to read other's thoughts on this!!

Blood Isn't Always Red

Gone with the thought of one more drop of blood hitting the floor, before they rush through the door to save another failed soul.

I promise it will be the last, yet here I am spilling it once more.

Blood mixed with the stains of spilled ink, but the hole left in the soul stays for another day. You soon learn Blood isn’t always red.

Sometimes it’s all the thoughts in your head making you wonder: is it all worth it? How quickly it can all go away with a bang and a few words mixed with hate.

Blood doesn’t have to be red, sometimes it’s the color in your eyes when the world is still so bright, and when they change to the rotting feeling of justifying fighting for a world, just waiting for you to die.

Only realizing how far you’re gone when it takes the light from your eyes.

Blood isn’t always red. You don’t have to die spilling it while wiping away the tears from your eyes. With a whisper on your breath that’s cutting out the word Die.

You can get back up even when all the blood is dried up.

Spilled ink can be more powerful to you than all of the red that can come out, while you pray the darkness in your eyes spills out with it so you can remember how to feel warm again.

It’s still worth fighting for, and there’s still a light at the end of this nightmare.

The talons tearing scars into your body and soul can’t fight the might of your spilled ink.

Because Blood isn’t always red.

Fall may be here, and Winter may be coming, but we can huddle together to keep warm.

The Fall brings beauty with the dancing leaves twirling so gracefully in the wind. They fall to be reborn fresher than before.

Like the Phoenix’s ashes our tragedy marks a rebirth! So rejoice, for the Spring is near, and it has worth.

This spilt ink is not your death soliloquy, but the tune you march to as you shake off the shadows strangling your mind.

the more I think about it and the deeper I get into one piece (y'all i'm almost caught up 😨🤯) the more I think the live action is just going to skip the Skypeia arc.

Like aside from being super expensive to animate/build that set (and the time crunch of churning seasons out while the actors still look young), it just doesn't add much to the overall plot.

like it introduces sky islands, the beginning of the end of the Merry, haki (without calling it haki) and robin gets renewed faith that her life has purpose but I don't think any of that /has/ to be done in Skypeia.

The torn part is Jaya is cool with bellamy / blackbeard intros.

Hi, I'm Grey. And I'm pissed the fuck off that our original 3 didn't get voiced lines in UCN, so I'm gonna give them some.

Yes I know Withered Chica and Withered Bonnie got voiced lines, but that doesn't change the fact that the original 3 featured from the first game didn't. Like, Foxy did, but not the other 3? BULLSHIT

So! I have decided that each of them will get 5 lines, as that's how many I think are given to each character in general.

Let's start with Chica!

"Mr. Cupcake is my real friend. Not you!"

"I never got to finish my cake."

"You made me waste my food, so now I'll waste you!"

"Hey you! Guess what sound an angry chicken makes?"

"Birthday parties are supposed to be happy. This one's just sad."

Been developing some T.rigun ocs. Not all have names, but most of these newer guys are also bounty hunters. Basically thought of an episode slash arc in the manga that would be like, Gill gets a letter and the top six bounty hunters on the planet are being invited to come and work together to capture Vash. At first she wants to just refuse, but they all decide to go because Gill knows all those bounty hunters and like how they all act. A if they go then they know their whole plan, B if they can prove they can't catch Vash then their team work is going to quickly disappear. They go, the team acting as Gill's new bounty hunter team mates and Vash in disguise with his face covered. These ocs are the ones they meet and along with Gill are the top bounty hunters around, in monetary value gained from bounties and in skill.

Maleficence Maelstrom: I started thinking of him a lil bit ago, before the others, as just a sort of rival. He's a dangerous slinger, seems to go out of his way to not turn in his bounties alive. He and Gill often clash. They worked together once, but after Maleficence shot their bounty, she refused to split the payment. She wouldn't take any "blood money". After that partnership, they've hated each other. He's sadistic and mean with a tendency to taunt. He likes trying to get people to pick fights and is an expert in duels. He often wears a sharp grin and has a certain condescending swagger.

Mayhem Wayham: He's a cool dude. Pretty cheerful and laid back and a constant flirt. He likes asking women to marry him casually. He and Gill get along. He likes a joke and to party, but he has a knack for stopping a fight and cooling people's anger. He's pretty easy going. Uses a bow with augmented arrows.

A set of two girls, their title includes twins and they act like two twin sisters except they're fully unrelated. They just met and realized they look similar and like the other and decided to go with being twin sisters after. They're all around pretty nice, though with their own typical rough edges. They and Gill get along. Love to drink together and are loud.

A set of three. Their nicknames are like judge, jury, and executioner. The bounty hunter nicknamed as their judge picks their bounties and is like a leader. They decide whether to take their bounties alive or execute them based on their judgment of the crimes they are wanted for with their bounty. Gill isn't a big fan of them; while most of the others do whatever is necessary with a fight and Gill can't exactly fault them, she always says to not severely harm or anything their bounties, she can't agree with acting as the sole decider of executing a bounty like that set does. They're also a polycule.

A muscular Amazon of a lady. She is almost an authority figure to other bounty hunters, able to get them in line when together. She's a kind woman with a strict side but it's like a well meaning sterness, she is thoughtful often of others. Likes handing out treats. She and Gill get along well. She is the person who decided to try getting all six top bounty hunters to work together; insists it's not for greed but simply to stop that dangerous guy.

I also have another oc who's not a bounty hunter. She's new.

She's an outlaw, a rather flamboyant person. She respects above everything else great passion. Passion for anything as long as they're devoted. This includes romance; in a fight with Vash she knocks him unconscious and Gill arrives to help him and when she gets between them she's prepared to fight her. She sees Gill's passion and decides to stop fighting. She says she couldn't think of getting between a fellow passionate shooter and the source of their passion, and leaves. After that encounter she and Gill have a sort of respect towards each other. Lmao

Y'all know in the movie where Billy finally finds his mom and it's not what he thinks it's going to be? I kept thinking, what could make it

And I came up with the thought that maybe in a different scenario, Billy did find his parents, both of them, but when he walks up to their house and peeks through the windows, he finds them happily smiling and laughing, surrounded by family and little kids, younger than him. What if his parents abandoned him on purpose bc they were not ready or prepared to fully take care of Billy, deciding it would be best to leave him in foster care until they were ready to bring him back home. But afterwards, they have another child, and things look bright for them. Then they have another, and things are perfect. They ultimately decided to forget about Billy and and move on, knowing that if they brought him back after all this time, it would only bring back painful memories and awkward talks with their family and new friends in their community.

They decided it was for the best for everyone, but they never once thought of how Billy felt all this time. They moved on, but Billy never did, always searching and looking.

When Billy confronts them later on, Billy realizes that the Shazamily, and Victor and Rosa are his real family, not them. He can't hold a grudge against them, knowing they were suffering, too, and finally let's them go from his heart.
