Pearl has depression.

Like gay up, she legit distanced herself from the love of her life because she realized she may have reached the top and had nowhere else to go with her wife. She spent so long trying to make it big with the love of her life and she got it, so what then? Simple: Adoption. Pearl finds an underground band and raises them up, reveals them to her Marina. Marina is on board because hey, she loves her Pearl.

Pearl is just afraid that if she has to give up Off the Hook, she will lose Marina. But that's the thing, Marina loves Pearl. Marina has only ever loved Pearl. Nothing Pearl ever does could make Marina hate her. So no, Marina wasn't going to leave Pearl, even if they had to retire.

the axolotl is called Panko ^^ 💖

Pearl has a love/hate relationship with Panko at the beginning, she let him stay with the condition of finding her a new home, since a single pet was enough (the sea bunny that you see over there).

That didn't work out for a couple of reasons, so he soon made it official and announced that the axolotl would stay home.
