Leofarith, The Half-Elf Rogue

Far off past the mountains of the Dwarves, a Half-Elf lived within the Kingdom of Alimora amongst many different races. Orcs, Elves, Goblins, Kobolds, and much more… Leofarith lived in the village near the forest which happened to be one of the less protected sides of the Kingdom. Despite having to be quick to act and help his village out during attacks; he was the one to take charge in making their village safer. Leofarith over his many years of living raised most of the now adults who lived in the village. Currently, Leofarith was raising his now children: Vellies (9), A Teifling child who was abandoned at the age of four by her two human parents. Now striving to become a bard and travel the world with her musical talent and magic. The twins, Zanatua and Zevagur(10), were both born of a human mother and orc father who tragically died leaving them to fend for themselves with their older sick sibling Kaimos. The two have vowed to do everything they can to help their older sibling. They both agree meeting Leofarith was a blessing. And then, Kaimos(12), A Teifling born of a human mother and orc father with two half-orc siblings. Kaimos was born sick and weak making it difficult for him to move much. Leofarith very much cares for his children including many others… On this particular day; Leofarith was within the forest with his children teaching each of them a basic survival skill. He smiled gently before freezing, quietly, he tells the four to hide and stay low. He turns drawing out his dagger listening carefully to his surroundings…

"Morning stars?" He hums in thought. "An interesting weapon choice." He smiles gently. "I take it you plan on one day wielding one of your own?"

Leofarith chuckles again "you are alright young one. Honestly I... won't blame you." He smiles gently to Remus "I don't want you to feel... afraid." He adjusted his gear a bit.

Leofarith exists the kitchen with a soft hum before pausing and looking around "Remuus? Come out of hiding please." He goes and hangs his cloak up before sitting on a chair with a small sigh.

Vellies slides down the railing with a giggle making her way into a room as Kaimos heads to the same room.

Leofarith stared before twirling his dagger and swiftly putting it back in his holster. He looks around for a moment before carefully kneeling down giving a small smile.

"Hello there... I'm sorry for scaring you..."

Leofarith smiles gently before standing and leaving the Inn.

Zevagur watches as Leofarith leaves before going right back to preparing the meat for dinner.

Outside in the back area of the inn there was rustling sounds here and there.

Leofarith chuckles gently "Well, Remuus. You're welcome to go look around." He says standing. "I have to run a small errand. I'll be back before supper is ready."

"So..." Leofarith began smiling to the young dragon born "What might be your favorite weapon of choice?" He asks wanting to get to know Remuus.

Magnus continues giving Wroaman wet puppy kisses.

Zeva frowns softly "I'm sorry to hear that..." he paused then grins "But you both now can stop.. I'd understand if you both would still want to keep traveling though... that would both of your choice." He chuckles before stretching.

Leofarith stares into the forest for a moment before looking to each of the children "alright, young ones... it's getting dark so I think it's best if we head home..." he smiles gently to the twin brothers then to the other four. "Especially if we are to have supper in time."

Leofarith smiles gently "Come along." He walks over to a dead boar "Zeva! Come help carry your brothers hunt. I'll prep it up for supper tonight."

Zeva nods jogging over to the boar and with ease lifts it. Zana quickly gets to her twin brother and walks with him.

Vellies beams "Home time!" She giggles.

Kaimos smiles a bit.

Kaimos smiles gently as he held Wroaman's hand leading him back to their home.

Many different races filled the village however... it didn't appear that many were human. Some other races of children run past playing games and what not. As they enter a home that appears to look more like a small tavern and inn.

Leofarith smiles "Alright... Zeva and Zana, you'll help me prepare supper. Vellies, I want you to prepare a bedroom for Wroaman and Remuus. And Kaimos... I want you to assist the two with their baths and getting them into clean clothes. I will see each of you soon."

Vellies giggles skipping off to do her task as zeva and zana head to the kitchen with Leofarith.

Kaimos pets Magnus and has him go run off before looking to the twins.

He stares for a moment before gently smiling "I would never dream of harming either of you..."

Leofarith gently held out his hand. "I apologize for scaring both of you... we've had past attacks here so I just a bit on edge. My name is Leofarith..."

The tiefling girl carefully attempts to get closer hoping to not scare the strangers off.

Again Leofarith kneels down keeping his distance.

"Alright... how many are traveling with you?" He asks.

He was worried there might be others that would attack him or the other children if they thought he was harming the boy. So he was only being cautious.
