5 Best Selling Books of All Time
Some books become an immediate hit and capture the public imagination. These often become bestsellers, but few manage to reach the top of this list. Here are the 5 best selling books of all time.
1 - Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes
Originally released in 1612, this tale of chivalry that never dies has sold over 500 million copies. It just goes to show that good books will be popular no matter how long they have been around.
2- A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens
The famous wordsmith is known for many classic works, but this story, published in 1859, has sold the most of all with 200 million copies. However, this was and perhaps still is a staple read of many schools, so maybe that has helped.
3- The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
One of the biggest books and movie series in the world, Lord of the Rings was published in 1954 and went on to sell 150 million copies. Many more copies were sold when news of the big blockbuster movies was announced.
4 - The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery
Released in 1943 and selling more than 150 million copies, The Little Prince laments about the perils of growing old. Since it was released, it has been translated into more than 300 languages.
5 - The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien
Published in 1937, The Hobbit precedes The Lord of the Rings and follows Bilbo Baggins on his adventures. It eventually sold as many copies as The Lord of the Rings, just over 150 million.

Great adventure books set in the jungle
If you love a good adventure set in the jungle, then you will love this collection of novels curated by the Lenosity review team set amongst the greenery and wild animals.
Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs
Immortalized by the Disney adaptation, Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs launched the legend of an orphaned boy who is adopted by apes in the African jungle. Named Tarzan, the boy eventually has to prove himself on two fronts: the animal kingdom and the even more menacing world of humans.
Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad
One of the most famous and acclaimed English novels in history happens to be a grim adventure story. This 1899 novella by Joseph Conrad tells the doomed story of Charles Marlow, who wishes to leave behind the civilized world and sail up the Congo in Africa. But he does not encounter what he anticipated in his journey into the metaphorical — and very literal — heart of darkness in the middle of the jungle.
Hatchet by Gary Paulsen
Brian Robeson is only 13 years old when his bush plane crashes in the forest. Now he must survive — with nothing but a hatchet. This book won the 1987 Newberry Award and has since gone on to spawn four sequels.

007 Interesting Facts About The Man Who Brought Bond to Life
James Bond was the original action hero, immortalized in the pages of the novels by British author Ian Fleming. However, Bond became an iconic screen figure too, thanks in no small part to the charismatic Scottish actor Sean Connery, who was the first to utter the legendary line ‘Bond, James Bond’ on screen.
Connery died recently aged 90 and as well as being the quintessential action entertainment hero James Bond, had a long and career. Here are interesting facts about the man how brought Bond to life
1. His full name is Thomas Sean Connery and went by the name Tommy in his youth and was even referred to as Big Tam in his native Edinburgh. He later decided to go by his middle name of Sean instead.
2. Connery was always a tall and imposing figure. At age 18, he was six foot two inches tall.
3. He came from a working-class background and his first job was as a milkman at the age of 16. His father was a factory worker and his mother a cleaner, so he knows the value of hard work from an early age.
4. He joined the British Navy and trained as a gunner for the anti-aircraft crew, however, he had to be later discharged from the Navy on medical grounds.
5. Connery was an accomplished soccer player and he was offered the chance to play for Manchester United by their legendary manager and fellow Scot Matt Busby. Connery, however, turned it down knowing that the career of a professional athlete was a short one.
6. He nearly missed out on the role of Bond to legendary English actor Cary Grant. However, Grant could only commit to one movie while the producers had a series of films in mind.
7. The Bond producers held open auditions, but couldn’t find a suitable candidate before inviting Connery to try out for the role and the rest is history.
