Anyone with experience can you explain to me how your meant to wear a slick pad with boxers???

I society tries soooo hard to feminize allll omegas but some people with slick don’t own panties!!!

I completely agree with this, I’ve been dealing with the dysphoria of still dealing with my nesting tendencies as otb and as much as I love nesting (personally Ive always Loveeeeddd when my friends/partners get me nesting supplies) it can still feel weird for me or make me feel like I’m faking being trans!

Basically, yeah just get something for a persons hobby and not for stereotypes relating to their secondary gender!

all those lists on social media that are like "christmas gifts for your omega" are so demeaning and generalizing. plushies and cushions and blankets are good for nests, but omegas have interests outside of nesting. and a nest is such a personal safe space for an omega to unwind. unless you really know what an omega wants in their nest, you're probably wasting money on nesting supplies. i can't tell you how many stuffed animals and blankets are sitting in my closet just because someone who didnt know me well just assumed i'd like them as a present because im an omega. nesting is an important part of my identity and nesting is a part of my life, but i do other things. i want books and journals and art supplies. i have hobbies outside of nesting. just give your omega partners/friends stuff they like. get to know them as a person.

I feel like as a community we don’t talk enough about how hard being trans is

Whether your primary or secondary trans getting the help you need (that being medicine, surgeries, any kind of gender affirming care) is incredibly difficult.

When your secondary trans (like I am) the kind of gender affirming care I need doesn’t even really exist

And that’s about it

Its difficult to go from omega to anything, or any other kind of secondary gender transitions because until pretty recently people didn’t transition, if you had qualms about your secondary gender you sucked it up and fell into the societal roles that are assigned at presenting. As we as a society have started breaking those gendered roles, we’ve finally started exploring a world where people are allowed to not conform to these roles and ideas pushed by the reigning hierarchy.

it's kind of weird for you to use "non-alpha" as a term... you're allowed to say omega or beta. it feels dehumanizing to have that part of a person'a identity erased lol

Non-alpha is a completely valid term actually! And it doesn’t just mean someone who’s an omega or beta, but someone who was assigned alpha at presenting but doesn’t actually align with that term!

I have a friend who’s a non-alpha who was recently caught up in a convo with someone with such old views

They were saying stuff like “you present how you present. You can’t change your secondary gender. Blah blah blah”

As someone who’s heard that since coming out I just want to say, YOU ARE VALID!!! Don’t let someone rando tell you what you can or can’t be!

Being otb trans is HARD

For anyone who doesn’t know otb means omega to beta and let me tell you the dysphoria that comes with it is HARD!

I recently ran out of heat suppressants AT THE WORST TIME!!! I ended up having a PANIC ATTACK at the DOCTORS when I went in to get more! Having a heat as someone who identifies as a male beta is so hard because it feel so wrong! Like “hey body! You shouldn’t be doing that!!!” 😞😞😞
